This morning's mission was to Guess Who before the series is archived.
Maria was my third find today. The location was quite busy today thanks to the market, but still plenty of car parking close by. With the GZ coordinates in hand thanks to some virtual street walking, the find was made with the help of the hint.

Cache is safe and sound.
Unfortunately I'm archiving my caches after Easter, so please make sure you find them before then

I am slowly chipping away at the Guess Who series and happened to be in the area today. A bit of math and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks Jimbo_80.
We originally came here for a search last year and probably have up a bit too soon after there had been a few DNFs. Noticed a bunch of finds since, and back in the area today so decided to come back and take another look.
Things have certainly changed here since last time! Lots of construction going on. This time we found the container almost immediately and can't believe we missed it before. It's dead on the calculated coordinates!
Thanks for the cache and this series, still working through some of the other puzzles!

Finally with persistence and a hint from CO found it on second visit. Tricky but excellent spot. TFTC
I solved the puzzle easily, however finding the cache was a different matter. My first attempt yielded nothing, and I was unsure if the cache was there as there was evidence of an Easter egg hunt scattered around. I returned today determined to find this chap, and it took a while, but I was not leaving without success. The cache is alive and well and the coordinates are bang on.
Spent a fair amount of time looking, tried to expand the search…unfortunately no luck for me today
After logging the DNF I asked the CO for a bit of guidance and after a few to many hint, finally found the cache. The hiding spot is perfect, I felt like I checked that spot twice before but I guess third times the charm…TFTC
A nice multi .. clear information at WP1 and then a carefully hidden geocache.. thanks
after a failed attempt a few weeks back we got some help from a previous finder and we came back today and quickly had the cache in hand!! TFTC and the challenge
Having just made our 700th find nearby, and knowing we were close to this one we decided to extend our walk and give it a go. We calculated some coordinates that looked correct and made our way to GZ. We were a little apprehensive due to all the DNF’s but perseverance pays off. It is there in a place that matches the hint you just need to have a good look because it’s well hidden. Thanks jimbo_80 for a good multi.
spent at least 30 mins looking for this one but we couldn’t find it anywhere
we will be back!
we will be back!
No luck for us here either. Our calcs matched the hint but no cache could be found despite checking a few locations...
I could not find this cache. I am pretty sure I am in the right spot. There is evidence of an Easter egg hunt here as I scored 2 eggs. Maybe the cache went the way of the Easter eggs. I will watch this one.
Found myself back in this area today to turn my frown from last year upside down.
I rechecked all the required info and this had me at the same GZ as last year.
Fresh eyes and an almost empty area had me making the find today.
Wow there are some big changes going on near here.

I need to kick-start my caching in 2021... so I have rather bravely decided that January will be my month for the **Multicache Month Challenge Cache**... of course that could all go horribly wrong if COVID breaks out badly here as it is threatening to do... but in the best of Python traditions, you should *always look on the bright side of life!* After a bright start... 3 Multis on the 1st... things have been going downhill... 2 on the 2nd, 1 on the 3rd, 0 on the 4th... so despite the weather I went out the is afternoon to hit some Multis in Mitcham and Nunawading.
*Guess Who?* I used to play this with my daughters many years ago... but the **jimbo_80** variant is something a bit different. A nice simple Multi with a GZ conveniently close to the starting point of my next target for the afternoon.
Thanks **jimbo_80** for the cache... and the series. I may just find a few more as I work through my challenge.

like probably many uni sharehouses
board games are a regularity at the commune
throughout high school and beyond we had a close-knit group that would gather every fortnight for a session
game of thrones: the board game was the perennial favourite, a conservative estimate calculated the number of games played easily hitting triple digits
this year, no surprises, has disrupted that somewhat
one of the more notable worldwide changes this calendar year
but the board game have lingered still
some intra-house nights and some nights hosted on the airwaves
now codenames and decrypto are the go-to: simple enough to play online but with enough intrigue and strategy to quench the thirst
sorry to say guess who has not yet made an appearance
there have been some oldies: my grandma’s version of cluedo was dusted off for a few rounds, an ancient version of trivial pursuit was attempted but sidelined as archaic
but not guess who
i think i have only played it the once
a question:
in a game of guess who, is it better to maximise or not
do you play for risks or play the middle-of-the-road odds
let’s say half the people have glasses
and a third have blonde hair
which is the better gamble
the glasses call: you’re guaranteed to knock down half the faces
the blonde hair gambit, you’re not
but
there’s a third of a chance that you knock down two-thirds
compound a similar bet several times…?
hmmm

Funnily enough, I got the nearby Multi the day before. Back in the area today to grab another cache and mark the day of the calendar. Nice quick walk to GZ and then almost straight back. Go figure! Quick find once at GZ, especially once I checked the hint. TFTC
Had this worked out a fair while ago and finally got around to finding this cache. Thanks for this cache. Find No: 1011
I parked in the full sun to get the coordinates, and got back in the hot car to work out where to go next.
After pinpointing the wrong tree and searching under all the spiky bushes I finally worked out the right tree, and circled it a few times, until I finally spotted the very well hidden container.

Foolishly tried to grab this one on a rainy night... Thought better of it. Returned today for an easy find. Thanks!
After quickly and easily calculating the coordinates for GZ and going there, it was a nice, easy find. All in good condition. TFTC
Picked up the details this morning and had a nice easy find with spot on coords. tftc.
Finally, I can say I have completed this series! Today I met Maria. I had guessed her clue and found the final a few weeks ago, but I really wanted to complete this great series of caches. Thanks so much for placing this cache jimbo_80
What is it with girls named Mandy, from rural Victoria?
Our own Mandy Rogers from Geelong - Amanda Lee (Mandy) Rogers (born in Horsham) - Portia Lee James DeGeneres known professionally as Portia de Rossi, has moved on to bigger things in Hollywood.
Sadly in the news recently as it seems that she has split from the arms of Ellen DeGeneres.
All the best for the future Mandy.

We made our way down to Victoria for yet another Mega Event where we had a great time catching up with many of our interstate friends. We mostly concentrated on socializing and finding the various lab caches available after which, we set about finding a few others caches that took our fancy.
On our visit to Victoria last year, we had found a challenge cache which required us to have found 6 multi-caches on the same day not once, but twice We hadn't qualified at the time and on returning home, we found that multi-caches were rather few and far between so while in this area, we took the opportunity today to concentrate on finding multi-caches to enable us to log our find on the challenge cache.
After calculating ground zero, we had a little chuckle to ourselves as we returned very close to the starting point for another multi-cache we had done earlier in the day
Thank you jimbo_80 for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Hmmm! When you do your calculations it pays to double check them. Getting one digit wrong sent me off in the wrong direction but not by much. After recalculating, the prize was soon recovered. Traded some swappables. SL. Dipped some trackables. Thanks Jimbo_80 for the hunt and chase.
I was in the area today so I took the opportunity to get another cache in this fun series. I agree, what is this container doing here?! I quickly had the coords and made my way to gz for the easy find. Got the clue for the final, tftc!
“Mandy from Ballarat” made me laugh and that’s enough for a favourite for me. Thanks
Decided to head out today with the geopartner for some caching. We had to go to Nunawading to do some Erin’s so we thought way not get some caches in the area at the same time.

A late start to the day due to rain, catching up on sleep and sheer indolence, so I guess I'll not be making massive inroads into my current quest... but enough time for a few searches at least. This area at the end of the freeway has been kind to me over the years, and has accumulated a healthy concentration of multi caches since the last time I visited, so was perfect for a quick evening foray.
And by quick, I mean slow... This cache type often leads one to the unexpected, and one slip-up usually means a bunch of time suck at the least, a DNF, or both.
Not so in this case, though. It's impossible to miss the starting point, and a short drive and walk later, I found Maria safe and sound. Thanks, jimbo_80... I'll be back for the rest.

My kids love this game! But we have the cheap version called "Who is it?". Easy find to complete my planetary thingy. Thanks.
Found on 14 March 2018 at 4:10:12 pm. Find #2562. A great little maths equation and a short stroll to have my final clue . Now to drive another 10kms in this crazy hour to complete this awesome series.
Thanks for the adventure.
Thanks for the adventure.
In need of a cache to finally begin filling this run of empty slots in the calendar I popped up here to see whether I could make my calculator behave or whether I'd have the same sort of luck as last time I was here.
Things began badly with my calculator being unable to calculate a neat number for BBB that is until I PAFed. As usual as my PAF was dredging up some notes on his end I arrived at the correct answer. I think pressing the equals button on the android calculator program was the crucial step that I had previously overlooked
Trotted off to GZ and quickly spotted the cache.
This also concludes a NSW based challenge cache I'd been working towards for the last month. I can now go and find whatever type of cache on any given day, yay!

Decided to do this series as it was nominated in the COTY awards. Maria was a lovely lady who let us sign her log book. TFTC
Lovely spot! Thanks for opening up your Guess Who? series to basic members jimbo_80 - this is my first log, and I’m enjoying your puzzles, although I fear Charles is going to be quite a handful!
A quick calculation revealed the coordinates.
A short visit to the GZ and the cache was soon found.

Out with au.fait, we collected the data and did the maths, then set off to GZ.
We searched a little blindly before reading the hint and making the find.
A lovely series which we will now try to do, this being the first for us.
Thanks jimbo_80

What a novel way to gain the information to calculate GZ. It's not often you see a container marooned like that. Enjoyed this multi Thanks jimbo-80
*25/11/17, Found @ 10:28 am, Find # 7427.*
After dropping the car off for is annual service I then jumped on my bike which I had brought with me and hit the trail.
This one was close by so I went for a look, it is a strange place for one of these but I collected the info that was needed and I was on my way to GZ.
Once there I looked here and then I looked where the cache was and signed the log.
**Thanks to jimbo_80 for placing this cache.**

Returned tonight after a DNF last week, and made the quick find. Thanks heaps for the adventure.
Return back with pwala, so happy sign the log before awol lol... Thanks jimbo 80. Fav from me.
What an odd place where information collected. Simple multi first name in new log book. Let's hope this one doesn't go AWOL TFTC
Couldn't see any cache so DNF from me. What pity missed out the CO;s replacement new one.
Unable to find Maria, the owner is aware of this and he will be out to check on it later today - thumbs up!
Headed out to visit Maria again after work today. She is resting well and happy! Thanks jimbo_80 for bringing us here.
Made WP1 and did our calculations but no luck at the calculated GZ. The terrain matched the hint and we found a likely hiding spot with some additional camp that probably hid the cache at one point, however no container could be found.
We extended the search area without luck.
Will keep an eye on this cache as we could just be blind. TFTC

We found this cache today at 4:10pm as number 14 of 17 on our Notting Hill to Nunawading Afternoon. Followed from WP1 and after working out the co-ords, we took the drive to GZ but got distracted by a spot about 6m away for a while before spreading out and finding the cache. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
A strange sight appeared as I arrived at the starting co-ords. The shipping container was indeed there beside a dwelling that was probably hastily built in the 1950s to house the owner of the adjoining shop. I suspect it was a milk bar, but now serves as an extension to the house. This is one of many things I love about Geocaching -- finding such gems in the middle of suburbia.
Our find was a joint effort -- I took a photo of the needed information on the container and ICW worked out the co-ords. Thank you for this cache and the Guess Who series.

My second guess who cache today and this time I had to do the maths in my head owing to a lack of a calculator. Must have got it right because I found your cache!
Well I think I can safely say that this is the first time I have gathered the coordinates for a multi from one of these. It certainly is an interesting feature located here. With the numbers gathered it was on to GZ, and a spot that I hadn't realised was here. With good coords and the hint I was able to find it after a brief search.
Thanks to jimbo_80 for placing this cache and for the fun multi.

Nice walk around the block and a relative quick find during daughters ballet class
This cache had me stuck for some time. I first tried under fading in rqin for 15 minutes with no luck. Then again a week later. Still no luck. Today I redid my calculations for the start point. Same result. At GZ it was a very fast find... how did I not see that last time as I had dug those spots for ages. Sigh. Thanks to jimbo_80 for placing this cache.
Out in the area caching with omegaman1971 and Happy pant. A fun day was had with many laughs and good hides. Wandered about and got the info needed to make an easy enough find at GZ.
Thanks jimbo_80 for placing the cache for us to find.

This cache took an awfully long time to be found, as we'd been in the right spot and were searching according to the hint, but simply could not find it. A PAF didn't help with clues, but while we were talking quiet1_au yelled out that he had found the cache. The coordinates were spot on, as we'd started our search not too far from here. TFTC
Glad for a (almost) drive-by multi, lochb and I enjoyed the in-car visit to WP1 where we gathered the required information from the sun-warmed comfort on my geomobile while we did the maths and got a tidy pair of figures. Heading off to GZ nearby - a familiar location - we started to doubt our work when after quite some searching we failed to located a cache... :-\ While lochb PAFed our earlier caching companions G&J of GJMMelb for assistance, I continued searching and eventually found the cache maybe 5m from the expected location - annoyingly in a spot previously visited. An easy find - well yes, but only when you actually managed to find the right spot!... If this weren't the last cache of the day and had I been caching solo I'm sure I'd have given up long before making this find. Lucky last cache fer me crew and another Mary Hyde souvenir me hearties - arrrr!
I pulled up at Maria court and read the script. That looks easy enough! And so it was.
I braved the cold wintry Melbourne air today to tackle a couple of Multi's near my home zone. This one my first and after a quick pit stop I was off to GZ, where the cache was found after a little hunt.
TFTC!
TFTC!
I hadn't got around to doing this multi even though it's in my 10 km from home zone. The encouragement of earning the third Mary Hyde treasure map souvenir by finding a few multis meant that I found a nearby multi and then travelled a short distance to this multi.
Wow, a shipping container in the middle of suburbia. I wonder how they transported it here. Anyway, I collected the required numbers from the shipping container and then calculated the cache co-ords, which landed me in a very familiar spot. I drove to the cache, parked in the nearest street to it and then had a lovely stroll to GZ. Thanks to the spot-on co-ords I found the cache quickly and signed the log at 5:25 pm. TN except the clue and LN.
Thanks jimbo_80 for the good multi and the well-hidden cache in an awesome location. This was my first cache in this series so I will now have to find the others to get the rest of the clues.

I am loving this series, especially the bios and the log books. Who would have thought Mandy from the Rat would remake herself so successfully. I think she's right in shunning Philip from PE, at least until he remakes himself as Pierre. Thanks for this series, jimbo_80.
I loved this game when I was younger and have been playing it a lot recently as part of work. Cache was found quickly after finding the right tree. TFTC
Guess What! Its cache of the day time! Yippee! I loved Guess Who as a kid! Thanks for a fun cache! We'll be doing the rest in time!
I love your back story! The shipping container was soon found and coordinates calculated. There was a massive storm brewing, which we thankfully missed, so the GPSr was bouncing around all over the place. Got it in the end. Dropped off TB. TFTC.
On way to watch Deaf Poker Australia. I am not keen to play but good to catch my friend there.
I love to play with Guess Who.

Out and about tonight with Trailstevo and looking to tackle the Guess Who series. Were going fairly well until a croud of people were sat next to one of the clues so we had to divert to the next cache and come back later. Then after a few more find we ground to a halt on one of the mystery cache. I thinks we found 5 in the end and a little more work to do next time. TFTC, TFTSeries.
Gunks and Trailstevo hit the Guess who trail tonight. Couldn't quite clear them all tonight but 5 out of 7 made for a decent night's work. Tftc

Poor Maria.....to have such an identity crisis that you need to change your name and assume a new nationality! One has to feel sorry for her. And she clearly has man-issues associated with her own self-loathing, because word on the street is that Philip, the PE teacher, is quite well endowed and a real firecracker.
I was not off to a good start with this series.....I was reading the commas (on the shipping container) as dots and therefore giving vividrogers, who was poised with her calculator, dodgy numbers to work with. GJMMelb was our chauffeur today and, since G had already found this one, J already knew exactly where GZ was.....so it really didn't matter that our calculated GZ was about 100m away from the actual GZ.
At GZ, much like BendSinister, I had almost trodden on the cache before dismissing this spot. We were scratching around right in and under the things that are mentioned in the hint but we had taken it far too literally. In the end, vividrogers found the cache in a spot that I'd been embarrassingly close to a couple of times.
Things could only get better from here....TFTC

In the end, vividrogers found the cache in a spot that I'd been embarrassingly close to a couple of times.
Things could only get better from here....TFTC
I'm not even sure how it came about that Mrs J of GJMMelb, Mrs R of The Rustys and myself all got together to complete this fabulous series, but I am grateful to whomever of us had the idea, and the easy way in which it all came together. On a rare opportunity that we were all available, on a pleasant wintery day, three friends going about the area having a lot of fun on a plasticware hunt. Splendid.
I actually managed to arrive early, so took myself off for a little walk, and found some windfall feijoa,. this was such a surprise to Mrs R, that she checked my car to see if I was slumped over the steering wheel, or something, as I am NEVER early when an event is this side of town. I strolled down the road with a pocketful of Feijoa, watching her walk to my car, to peer into the windows, I called out and waved a handful of feijoa at her, by way of explanation. I popped into GJMMelbs house, to use the facilities and admire their marvelous towel rail, and grab a couple of TB codes (gotta catch them all... oh wait, that is something else) Then we went off to find the closest Guess Who, and chortled with delight at the wonderful character description. Somehow we got the figures slightly incorrect, but the clue actually got us the extra mile, and we were happily signing the logbook (I shop where you shop!) and noting down the clue. Fabulous.

I've been meaning to investigate these caches for ages now, and by golly I finally got there. Or got to two of them at least. I walked to the vicinity of these starting coords, or as close as I could comfortably get, and struggled to see any shipping container anywhere. Until I looked beyond some builders wot had invaded the footpath with manly machinery. Then I was finally in business. Not for the first time dudes in hi-vis displayed expressions suggesting bemusement while I took notes. Number-crunching immediately yielded an entirely plausible GZ, so a stroll commenced, after which I stood immediately beside the cache for quite a few seconds before bothering to brush aside some, er, stuff. Victory, it turned out, was then mine. Fab. Thanks jimbo_80!
I woke up this morning and realised that I had to find a cache to celebrate the 17th anniversary of the birth of geocaching and also to get the Big Blue Switch souvenir. When I got to work I looked to see what the closest unfound cache was and voila...here I am.
I quickly found the information I needed and with a bit of jiggery-pokery I had some coordinates for the GZ. A quick find...and I remembered to grab the clue. TNLN. TFTC.

It's not much of a shopping centre, zero shops and zero parking, anyway info gathered and then off to GZ but there were muggles lurking around the tables, you used to get very close before you realised in the dark , but now everyone has their phone in their hand and you can see the light a mile away.
-By the way- When someone picks up their phone and looks at it, so you grab your phone and look at it, it's the modern equivalent of a yawn.
So with the muggles in play I left to pursue other caches and returned later to an empty GZ and found the cache soon after, photo of clue taken, I need to get onto the rest of the series
Thanks

Collected the required information and calculated the coordinates for the cache. There were a couple of muggles sitting in the park on this sunny morning so we we re cautious with our approach. The container was quickly found and the log signed. TFTC
Family all out, could have a lay day but though I'd Guess Who instead. Worked co-it's and landed at GZ. Compass kept wobbling lol over the place. Was just about to give up and recheck my calcs when I found it. Another clue in my hand. Tftc
