We travelled 8,500km through 5 states for a 60th birthday party over approx. 6 weeks. We endured many days over 35C and then saw a lot of water in the eastern states. We enjoyed travelling east with family and then they travelled back to Alice and we made our way home to SA, trying to dodge the rain and wet weather.
Caching is a great way to see the many wonderful sights and learn about the places we are travelling through.
Thank you to those who take the time to hide caches

Sydney to Alice Springs Road Trip
Day Seven: Kulgera to Alice Springs, and then a flight home. It’s warm!!!
After finding “Happy In Alice”, I’m now finding a few more of the NOAS series that I started on my last visit. Nice to see a few larges out there. Some of these caches appear to be showing the effects of the central Australian sun, others look like they have been replaced.
Thanks to all involved here

My husband and i are on a 8000km plus geo kms road trip from Brisbane to Uluru and today we are on our way back to Mt Isa and we picked up a few smileys on the way. All these caches were found fairly quick. Thanks for placing these caches here for us to enjoy
Left Cunnamulla after QOGM 2021 heading to Sth Australia, stopped in Mount Isa for a little spell and to catch up with new friends drrnrchr and attack all the caches here. Then WA then back to Cairns June 2022. 17 October 2021 10:27 am Tyfc Alicecaching total caches now 2811
Found during a trip from Adelaide to the northern tip of Australia and back. Traveling up solo along the Strzelecki Track to Innamincka, then through central Queensland to Quilpie, Blackall, Barcaldine, Hughendon and Ravenshoe to Cairns. In Cairns I met up with e.gregory1 and a non-cacher friend and spent three weeks on Cape York Peninsula before making our way back to Cairns and Mareeba. From there I headed on my own back home via Normanton and Karumba, Cloncurry, Mount Isa, Tennant Creek and back down the Stuart Highway through Alice Springs to Adelaide. All in all I spent six weeks on the road, visited many out of the way locations, enjoying the scenery and finding caches along the way. Thanks for the cache Alicecaching!
We were heading into town for a quick shop when the DPF burn started, so we continued along the Stuart unti l it finished so we cached on the way back, picking up a few

An interesting series of caches. We found them all. The ongoing experiment of tropical sun versus sistema is proving that plastic will fail before the sun goes nova. Where necessary we replaced containers that were too damaged to continue. Some interesting wildlife in some of the caches. Each cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.

Found on a quick caching run north. Adelaide to Alice Springs and back in a week.
A target of this trip was the NOAS series. All caches were found but some are in need of maintenance as the weather has done them no favours. We replaced where we could .
A nice series but the flies and heat didn't help.

Cache appears to have gone thru a minor fire and slightly melted. Paper was damp and I have turned lid of cache upside down to drain any water and all should be well from here. Thanks for cache
The Red Centre was our 3rd stop on our 2-week tour of Australia from Chicago, and we stopped by here while cruising around investigating the area. Mahalo for adding to the fun!

We have travelled from A (our home in SW of WA) to B via the Savannah Way with a two week unexpected detainment in Mackay which has set us back, now sadly travelling back to A via the Outback Way from Winton to Laverton.
We have extra time in Alice than we planned so some extra caching is now happening. Gotta get my 4000 before I get into WA

**# 21879** Found on our 2018 mega trip from NSW to QLD, the Outback, NT and beyond.
Another nice warm Winter day for a trip north while at Alice for a few days.
Not many muggles around today and a few good quick finds.
Today's main mission was to tackle the NOAS series and a few other nearby caches.
This one was burnt slightly but still OK.
Thanks for the cache and the series Alicecaching, cheers from the Riverina, NSW,

I was hoping to do this whole series but we simply ran out of time and the road works might hamper some finds. Got this one. Very cool Tftc
There has been a fire and the cache partially melted, but it's okay [:0]. Contents are unaffected and the clips still work, but there is a large drip of plastic hanging from it. I suspect the lid is now very thin, so everyone go easy on it. Photograph included. TFTC Alicecaching.

Driven over from perth to visit Alice Springs. Day 2 of being here we decided to do the NOAS series and pick up a few puzzle caches and traditionals that were along the way. Unfortunately the first 3 caches in the NOAS series have been burnt from a bushfire and all that remains is wire hanging from the tree or marbles on the ground that were in the containers. Further along the series they have cleared the side of the road and a couple of caches were missing which we replaced and there is a few caches only just hanging on by a thread as they have cleared right up to the tree. Hope the CO doesn't mind we logged the first 3 caches as a find as we do have photos to prove we were there. Thanks to all the CO,S for placing these caches for us and others to find.
Found with DeeJay66 on our way north. Container a little distorted from the heat from the fire but still ok. TFTC
With GeoBet&Tor. TFTC. found with Carer Lis Brown on a trip from shepparton Vic to Ross river Homestead near Alice Springs, and back to Shepparton.

An early start from Alice Springs had us ready and rearing to go at 7:40 am to commence our morning of caching. N.O.A.S. 50 was our starting point and we headed south. We wanted to smash our former daily record (which had only recently been established as part of the Red Centre Experience over Easter). We knew we were in with a good chance. Just the N.O.A.S. series would have blown the numbers skywards, and yet we grabbed a few of the older caches as well. Thank you to all of the cache owners for your amazing efforts.
We spent Easter at the Red Centre Experience Event in Alice Springs then hit the road north toward Tennant Creek before turning east on our geocaching adventure to Cape York.
We found many caches along the way in the NOAS trail so rather than log each individually I have made a template which I wouldnt normally do. I do hope this is OK with the owners.
thanks for all of the caches.
Ian & Sue - Team Pathfinder uses T.P. to sign smaller logs.

Caught up with our travelling convoy for the day, caching our way along the NOAS series, and collecting a few other smileys along the way. We signed the logs as EMSGPS - Earthbound, Mica, Sharkiefan, GeoTurtle, Papillon and sully. Thanks to Alice caching for the series, and the sights we saw along the way.
Planned a big jaunt for the last full day of the red centre event. Out north and east of Alice. Found with Happy Feet 1. Signed GG & HF1. TFTC.
Found on our Red Centre Experience. We didn' do the full trail today, however we decided to do the first five. Each cache was very easy find - most of them had a fantastic and hilarious cacher trail towards them, which made it much easier to navigate to. Those that were hanging in trees were very well done and very easy to access - absolutely love the idea! TNLNSL. TFTC Alicecaching!
Out doing this trail north and out to Gemtree with Grubby Gypsy and signed as HF1 + GG. Had a good day and enjoyed the different caches.

A big day for us to mark the final full day of the Red Centre Experience Event in Alice Springs. Our aim was to set out for Gemtree and pick up a couple of caches along the way but the geocaching equivalent of white line fever set in and we wern't going to be satisfied until we had cleaned up the NOAS power trail as well!
This is a generic log for all of our finds today so I am going to make a recommendation in all logs to GO TO GEMTREE! THEY HAVE THE BEST MEAT PIES I HAVE EVER TASTED! Its worth the drive for the taste test!
Thankyou to all the cache owners for placing the caches we found today.
