TFTCGPS went a little moggy in the forest leading us up all garden paths but love from South Africa
Day 14 New Plymouth to Palmerston North, New Zealand. On the homeward run now. Still plenty of time to stop and enjoy NZ.A great location for the local kids to enjoy and explore.Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the cache Knees n things #7,903
Found it good spot for a night bike down put a toy in DIDNT write in log book too wet
Thanks for this! Easy enough of a find once you understand the hint, navigation is pretty spot on. Inside is a bit wet.Travelled up from Invercargill to see grandfather in palliative - was a nice chance to take a wall and get some fresh air! Thanks
#12,962. I have been at a conference in New Plymouth over the weekend and it was time to head back home today. The plan was to stop along the way and pick up some caches if they were along our main route. We parked nearby and found the gate to the forest reserve. Then walked down the path into a lovely remnant of tall native forest. After checking by the track for a minute or two my friend headed over to check out something that matched the hint and there was the cache. Sweet. Signed the logsheet and returned the cache as found. Thanks knees'n'things for hiding the cache here.
took us a little while to locate.
just had to find the right 6 fingered hand.

With Gap (of Fap and Gap)…
Auckland Anniversary: The Taranaki weather had been particularly good to us this weekend, considering the mayhem it had sparked further up the country. It felt almost anticlimactic to be going home today, but work beckons…
A nice little bushland pocket… We struggled to lock onto this hide as the hint object wasn’t obvious for us. We searched a few possibilities until Gap found the right one. Thanks knees’n’things. TFTC.

It feels good turning this dnf to a smiley ! I took my Dad for a walk and he spotted it easily once we were near gz. Thanks for bringing us here the birdsong of the this was lovely and there were some blossoms in full bloom
I grew up in Stratford, but had never visited here before! Thanks for bringing me here. Impressive amount of water coming out of the storm water drain into the creek today!
Found in drizzle. Impressive amount of water coming from storm water drain. I grew up in Stratford, but have never been here before. Thanks for cache.
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on a drizzly day spent up the mountain, as well as in and around Stratford and Inglewood.
A great wee secret spot, so was surprised to find a muggle sitting on the ground (must have been a bit damp!) not far from GZ. Fortunately, she had her back to us and was listening to her phone, so didn't seem to hear a couple of elephants crashing around in the undergrowth! Not a quick find as the GPSrs were a little skittish here, and pleased to finally nab it. TFTC.

Not Easy for my first Cache . I didnt Know this little trail was in Stratty till tracked this Cache. Great place .
Team BOP is back on the road this time heading to Taranaki with our sights set on some Labs, some geo-art & everything else in between
Our current incarnation includes Davidson Clan, NZFlossy, McJandals and myself and we’ve signed the cache logs as ‘Team BOP’ to save time and log space. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed the journey as most caches have been found quickly & without fuss thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placements.
I appreciate there’s a stigma attached to cut’n’paste logs like these so I’ll try to provide cache specific notes retrospectively when I get home. We do genuinely respect the work put into these caches, particularly some of the puzzles, but with a numbers mission like this - the hides start to blur together unfortunately. So Cheers COs, TFTC and most importantly - thanks for bringing us here

On a weekend trip to Taranaki with some of Team BOP. Always lots of fun on these trips targeting cache trails, solved puzzles and high favourites. Thanks to all the cache owners TFTC
TeamBOP are together again for the long weekend. Philip.Perry, McJandals,NZFlossy and myself are heading to New Plymouth and surrounding areas caching.
A plan was hatched recently to hit the Naki area this long weekend. Nice to get away and grab a lot of our solved puzzles and ALs plus others along the way. Signed logs Team BoP to save room on log sheets.
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

What a beautiful spot this is. No one around at the time of my visit which made it a nice and easy find.
FP awarded for bringing me to this amazing spot. TFTC knees’n’things!

We are on a ten day road trip to Taranaki, The Forgotten Highway, Taumaranui, Ohakune and back home to Palmy. Along the way will be sightseeing, short mountain walks, museum visits, a rail cart journey and, of course, geocaching. Day 4 - we’re now based in Stratford for four days and will make trips out from here.
This was our last day in Stratford for tomorrow we head along the Forgotten World Highway.
The location of this cache sounded an appealing place to visit and it was - some lovely old forest to stroll through and it wasn’t even too wet underfoot considering all the rain last night. The cache itself was found precisely as described and formalities soon completed. Thank you knees’n’things for bringing us here and TFTC.

We decided to head away for a few days in the camper and do some geocaching. One of our aims was to travel the Forgotten World Highway. After a fabulous drive through the Forgotten World Highway we finally made it to Stratford. After an overnight stop we spent the day cacheing round Stratford. This was a lovely little park and we wandered along the pathway to GZ where Mr S said hello what’s that. Well, not the cache but here it is over here. Lots of birdsong in here.
Thanks knees'n'things.
Thanks knees'n'things.
