Caching with taybee nz on our way through peggioh and towards kaikora. Been a great day so far. Nice hide tftc!
If I had arrived a couple of minutes earlier, I would have had a great view of a train passing. It was another quick find here although the container is a little askew.
On a road trip with Net61 from Blenheim to Kaikoura collecting caches as we head south. Having found a few of this type of cache today, we knew what to look for here. A quick find and we were back on the way to Kaikoura. TFTC
Trouve ! / Found it ! J'ai eu la chance de voir arriver le train. Beaucoup de moldus sur place mais ils taient plus occups par le train que par moi 5251me cache trouve.Merci the Seagnoid pour la cache I was lucky enough to see the train arrive. Lots of muggles there but they were more busy with the train than with me 5251th cache found.Thank you the Seagnoid for the cache
Found on this beautiful day Great hide Enjoyed doing this cacheThank you for the cache
Back on the south island as we fly out of Christchurch in a few days . We love this part of the coast and nice to see so many new ones since our last visit, plus the new roads which were being repaired last time. This was a quick find and a nice hide, have a favourite point.TFTCTim and Viv - ddm
**20,348**Another rail cache ticked off, now we need to find a letterbox cache today for a challenge cache. A BIG Thank You to the CO for all these great caches, they must have cost you a fortune in plumbing fittings. TFTC
Heading down to Christchurch for the weekend. Had time to grab a few caches on the way. Managed 10 caches all close to the road. Quick stop, find, sign and off again. There’s always something fun about crossing railway lines. Just imagine if! Thanks for the smiley
This was supposed to be a family trip to Hanmer weekend but some are sick and some tired. So, what does that mean ??? Yes, a caching weekend to myself, again. I had a target of dead ones and the odd live one to mix it up.
This was a live one and easy.
This was a live one and easy.
In cold light drizzle we looked for this to no avail. We have found similar cache containers when doing the historical Hutt Station Line. Hutt, Melliing, Belmont, Stations and some others. The containers are the art of a person with plumber skills? For us we found the cap had been badly cross threaded and we were unable to delve further into it. Having said all that many thanks for this cache and for those in Lower Hutt.
Caching trip with busy paws, lytteltonwitch and coconuts3. Day 6! Homeward bound. It's easy when you know what you are looking for! Thanks, the Seagnoid!

Another TS classic which blends in nicely with its surroundings.
Thanks for putting this here for us to find.

One of eight caches located today between Ward Beach and Kaikoura. This one was a reasonably quick find. #4782. TFTC.
Initially pulled over on the side of the highway, then realised that I could park right beside the cache.
Picked up the TB, will take it for an adventure.

After parking the snail shell up in Kaikoura it was time to visit all those caches I saw on the way south and couldn't stop at.
Another in the Rail series.
In: TB.
Cheers for the cache.

Getting easier to spot these, and better than pill containers.
Back on the Mainland, caching south with the wagging tails, in Van.
Happy New Year, and happy caching TFTC

Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!

*We soon had another good cache located, now onto the next one!*
Last cache for the night - after 10-30pm now!

(# 5979). Day 2 of my South Island odyssey. Today is getting caches from Blenheim to Kaikoura. The weather was decidedly average with mainly light drizzle interrupted by heavy rain. It's the first time I have driven along the coast since the earthquake. I can now appreciate the carnage that occurred. Even how much the seabed rose around Kaikoura. A quick find. Everything in order. TFTC
#5 The kids love this train series and we took a frog and left a snake so enjoy
Wow first caching since lockdown. Daytrip to Kaikoura with the family (PDH_NZ) and time to stop along the way. Nice stop here, knew what I was looking for, just took a while to locate it. Another excellent cache hide. SL. TFTC.
Whenever NanaAuckland (Darby&Joan) is in town, geocaching is on the agenda. Today it was a daytrip to Kaikoura, with plenty of time and energy to make stops along the way. Nice stop here but did take us a while to locate it. SL. TFTC.
This started out as a Geocaching road trip to Invercargill to drop off some stuff for the niece and collect some other stuff for Mrs banian. It turned into a bit of a race back to Wellington to beat the Covid-19 lockdown.
Quick find, I like these cache hides - obvious but hidden in plain sight.

After spending the night in Blenheim, today we are setting off for Kaikoura with a list of caches we want to find along the way.
A 50km detour up Awatere Valley took up more time than expected, but we are glad we stopped for this trad rather than rushing by. Loved the hide here, so adding a Favourite point. Thanks.

.Another of TSs rail series. Another quick snag and tag. Great revisiting here. Cheers
Toby, The Seagnoid and I are off exploring to Kaikoura again today. Its an easy day of mostly P&Gs as TS is the walking wounded at the moment, and not walking much, but can play navigator on this trip. So lets go! A great day with many stops on the way we usually drive past to greener pastures for TS.

Driving to Christchurch to catch up with family this weekend, a long one for us Malburians. A few caches on the drive down then while the traffic is light and the light is good.

Enjoying finding this quality series of Marlborough rail caches today, thanks Seagnoid. The Pointsman's phone booth is quite a feature too.
The train must have spent more time stopping at stations then it did on the move. TFTC
I had originally planned a 2 day overnight caching road trip but some family commitments intervened which shortened my plan to a 1 (long) day road trip instead. I aimed for the east coast south of Blenheim and went for it. Although the weather on the day started out a bit grim and grey, it brightened up as the day wore on and I had a great time finding 40+ caches along the way. After going as far south as the St Michael's Church cache I turned around and headed north and homewards, finding a few more caches that I had left on my way south. There was a KiwiRail van parked at GZ on my way south - and a train going past too - so I left this for my return trip. The coast was clear on my return leg so I pulled in and found the cache nice and quick. Dropped in a trackable too. TFTC, Biggles.
Quick stop on our way to Christchurch for a week. All good here. Thanks the Seagnoid for the cache.
Meanwhile this is my third geocaching-trip to Middle-Earth . And I love it! [:X]
Still there are routes and places in this beautiful country that are on the 'discover-me' list and want to be visited and explored. .
Starting from Kaikoura, this day (#21) was dedicated to drive up north to Blenheim along the beautiful, scenic route #1 at the coastline [^] - a new experience .
The weather was again blessed with blue skies
Was happy to visit quite a few geo-treasures that seamed the route - just like this one:
The addiction to my new passion (=to collect Marlborough rail caches by the Seagnoid ) is further growing by this great hide ! Yet another one of these fantastic containers around the container! ...
Thanks to the owner [:X] for placing and maintaining these cool rail-caches and best regards from Germany!

I was up at the top of the South Island competing in the South Island Orienteering Champs. This gave me some time to grab some caches on the way there and back. It was great fun to explore a new part of the coutntry.

Out and about on a road trip from Papamoa to Dunedin. No problem with the find. Merry Christmas and TFTC.
Another one ticked off, lots of work gone into these.
An awesome Molesworth Mission trip with Karma Reprint and The Wanglers (signed as K2T), day three today was from Seddon back home to Canterbury via Kaikoura. Thanks the Seagnoid for the cache, 127 of 132 for the trip. Cheers

A plan was hatched and the plan set into motion, Kiwi Moose and Karma Reprint asked me if I'd like to join them on a Mad Marvelous Molesworth Mission... I asked them to give me a day or two to get back to them. I was able to get the Cachelets sorted so I was on like Donkey Kong.
Day 1: Boys picked me up and we headed to Hanmer for a cache or two and some mean as burgers for dinner. Popped over the Hill and camped at the Acheron DOC campsite. Enjoyed the many stars, we would have enjoyed more if we were on the other side of the trees, doh!
Day 2: Up and at em nice and early and cached our way to the coast. Weather was good with a bit of patchy rain. Spotted the the High Country Flying Club hooning up the valley, we saw 10 or so light aircraft. We were stopped at the Wards Pass by the Molesworth Station Manager Jim and had a sausage and a cuppa while we waited for the mob of 1000 head of cattle to wander up the pass. Great yarns were told by Jim. We decided on a camp site but it was crap and we headed into Seddon for the night at the Awatere Motor Camp.. that was interesting.
Day 3: Worked our way home via the coast and a few side trips. KM's vehicle had started acting up so we nursed her home and got home just after 5pm.
Great company, great fun and a few caches were ticked off the ol' list.
Nice cache.
We signed the log as K2T (Kiwi Moose, Karma Reprint and TheWanglers)
Thanks for the cache the Seagnoid.

Cache 25 out of 33 for today.
Cache 124 out of 132 for the trip.
Was down in the South Island on a personal trip to take care of some family issues that had arose, we decided that we would take the Interislander and make our way South so that we could take our own vehicle and all the supplies that we required as after we worked out the costing's of flying and taking a rental this was the best option for this trip.
Arriving in Blenheim for the night after a late afternoon sailing we decided to stay in our usual accommodation venue for last night. Today we decided was to make our way to Christchurch and catch up with Family and tidy up a few things and stay the night there.
After finding GC40Z51 - Deadmans Stream (Marlborough), this was the next cache that we decided that we would stop and have a look for today. I decided that I would keep my invisibility clock (Hi vis) on as it makes you blend in and no one takes any notice as to what you are doing once you have it on.
Managed to find a parking spot within 20 metres of GZ, while Mrs Yeetrees was taking care of a few things,I was just about to get out of the car but decided to have a quick look and I soon spotted the cache, as I have seen a few of these hides now. Pointed it out to Mrs Yeetrees and she was very impressed with the cache hide.
Managed to retrieve the cache, signed and then replaced the cache back where I found it. Thanks the Seagnoid for placing another cache here and for bringing me to this spot, TFTC TNLNSL (13861). This area has changed so much since I was here last which was before the Kaikorura earthquake, was really enjoying the views and the drive South.
Now it is time to continue on our journey South to Christchurch via Kaikorura

Thanks for this cache, the Seagnoid - found with warfi on our road trip home after the Welly Mega. My main goal for the day was Marram Grass Wanderings - and that was the cache we found before this one.
We stopped here for a cuppa and cache. SoBad made the cuppas while Mrs found the cache. Log signed, drinks drunk and we headed towards home. Just with a few more sidesteps for cache from this CO.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Being a relief teacher with a campervan and a supportive family, I decided it was time to make use of the school holidays. I stayed the night at the Top 10.

We didn't plan to find this cache, but after negotiating all the road works coming up the coast, we were looking for somewhere to stop for lunch, and spotting a cache on the map, decided this would be a good spot. The nicely hidden cache was a quick easy find, after which we sat in our car and ate our lunch. TFTC
