cache has had it's run, sounds like it is in need of TLC, however, regrettably am spending too much time in the south and in Victoria so am not in a position where I can perform maintenance, time for this one to die.. thanks Brady for the history..

Awesome place to stretch the legs and get the heart pumping! Great spot for a cache, walked past it initially. Unfortunately the log was too soggy to write on and had a pen that’s on its last legs, so I wasn’t able to properly log it. Tftc

Went for a evening walk along the trail and on the up stopped here to find this cache. Unfortunately the container is wet inside and I just managed to sign the logbook. A maintenance would be a good idea.

Quick diversion on the way through to NW coast. Walked from the carpark to get this hide - but regretted not having appropriate footwear to do the full circuit, see the gorge, and collect the other cache in the area. One for next time. Thank you

Unfortunately didn't find this one. Perhaps I was cache blind but I didn't feel comfortable moving all the rocks too much. Looked in the likely spots and then had to move on. Will just have to come back!

We're currently spending a lazy couple of days in Launceston, hanging out with friends and doing a little caching on the side. Today we set out with SonOfSteel to explore Notley Gorge, and pick up a few caches along the way.

Upon arriving at Notley Gorge, we decided to do the circuit anti-clockwise. As such, this was the first cache we found upon setting out. It was an easy walk to the GZ, and the cache was easily found right where we expected it to be.

Based on the surroundings along the way, we were definitely keen to see what the rest of the journey would bring! What a wonderful place!

Thanks for providing us a reason to come visit the gorge - chances are, we would never have known about it if it wasn't for the caches!

We're down here on holidays from Qld at the moment.
Today were exploring around the northern area's of Launceston.
We loved the area here and looking at all the various types of ferns in this reserve was amazing.
At GZ we soon tracked the right spot down and found the cache no worries.

Hi there dankpig.

We found your cache **"Brady's Boulder"** at 12:28:00 PM today. (This brings our total find count to 18596).

The plan today was to log the caches in Notley Gorge and of course to find a few more caches, using the "next closest" method on the way to and from the gorge. Wink

###Thanks for not placing an eclipse tin or a 200ml Sistema here. Once upon a time caches seemed to be "regular" sized, and well stocked with goodies for kids to swap. Nowadays it seems like every other cache is small and devoid anything to induce children to enjoy the hunt. It made us feel really good to find this cache in a "special" place.###

We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey & had an absolutely wonderful day. We found 8 caches (& DNF'd 0).

Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.

**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 7m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny.

Today we went into Notley Gorge to look for two caches. We found the other one but even after about 50 minutes of searching, we could not locate the Brady's Boulder cache. Both our GPS units were a little erratic - we could be standing at a point which indicated that we weer 1m from GZ then a minute later and without moving, they would indicate that we were 12m from GZ. There must be severe GPS signal reflections in the area. As we experiencing these issues, we widened our search area out to 15m but still no joy. The other concern was that there had been considerable movement of rock at a location very close to that described in the hint. We think that this one might need checking.

Hard to resist two new caches in a beautiful location like Notley Fern Gorge. Was a nice mild morning, perfect for a leasurly hike around the track, so I took a slight diversion on the way down the to coast this morning to pick them up.
Didn't take long to find this one, loved the container.
Was very surprised to find the log book empty, so FTF was a bonus.
Then it was off down the hill to find the next one.

Cheers

My second STF today. Gorgeous gorge but the rain will stop me going in search of the other geocache in the area. A bit slippery for my legs. The best stocked cache I have seen in a long while. TFTC
