It was easy to find after the Museum of the old Ghan. Thanks to the Owner for this Cache.
Cute find with some good friends. But if a random cache box but we loved it
We have travelled from A (our home in SW of WA) to B via the Savannah Way with a two week unexpected detainment in Mackay which has set us back, now sadly travelling back to A via the Outback Way from Winton to Laverton
We have extra time in Alice than we planned so some extra caching is now happening. Gotta love that
Only time for a cache, visited Transport Museum last time we were in town

Just picking up random caches while I can without upsetting them to much.
Went to the Ghan museum and then the transport museum and located this one on the way out.

With only a few caches to go until we completed the Hidden Creatures I had to head out and get these caches to finish off. Now I know where to come to see this museum.

Road transport is still running big in Australia today. So why not give them their own Hall of Fame.

Over from perth western Australia and this was our last day in town before we leave early in the morning for the long drive home. Headed out this morning to grab a few more caches. Did the OSH series which is in need of a maintenance check as a lot of the log books are choka block full. We picked up the other caches nearby then headed back into town to get the wherigo, a puzzle cache and a few other traditionals nearby. All caches were found with a few that took a bit of searching. Thanks to all the CO,S for placing these caches for us and others to find.
What an interesting place to have a look around. Very pricey souvenirs also. Cigc. Tftc

DieFraudiemitmuss, Lundi263, Murri24 and I made this year a very great tour together. Our first target is Melbourne. So we started early in the morning to visit the city and to make a few geocaches. We found very nice locations and interesting spots. One day we rent a car. Very early in the morning we drive from Melbourne City over Geelong to the Great Ocean Road. Along this road we found so much interesting spots, we see a great landscape, and had have not enough time for sightseeing. The weather was fine but a little bit windy. This day was very long and hard, but wonderful.
After that we visit the Grampians. A little bit rain, a little bit windy and a little bit sunny day, we had fasten all weathers. We visit waterfalls, canyons, sandstone fomations and any Look Outs. Puhhh, what a great landscape.
The next part of our journey is to explore the Outback. From Ayers Rock we take a car and drive over Kings Canyon and many other Look Outs to Alice Springs. We visit any very interesting Caches and had a great time by comfortable temperature.
This traditional Cache we hav also found. We log it as "GER-17". Thank you for this Cache.

On our vacation this year, we did a great trip as GER-17 to Australia.
GER-17 are DieFraudiemitmuss, Lundi263, de Eifelaner and murri24.
We started the tour in Melbourne where we spend a few days sightseeing and caching, including some trips out of the City to the Grampians an to the Great Ocean Road.
Nice place to be and to see.
From Melbourne we went to Alice Springs including Ayrs Rock, where we saw some nice sunsets and other great stone formations and spots.
Back in Melbourne we started by car to go to Sydney along the coast with zig zags into the blue mountains and Canberra.
Finally we arrived in Sydney and spend here the last day of our holidays with caching and sightseeing.
During this trip we found this box.

Impressive museum! My boyfriend wanted to visit this place and was very excited about all of it. Even I enjoyed it, even though I'm not very into cars and trucks... So, I took the chance to look for a geocache, and this one was very very nearby. Easy found, and a favorite because it's my first in Alice Springs and well maintained. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Holland!
Find No: 5966. Visiting from Newcastle, staying at Big4 courtesy of NRMA awaiting new engine for the Mighty Prado, thanks for the cache Alicecaching!!

Geocaching has taken me on many adventures over the years all over Australia and overseas. It has also introduced me to a brilliant and diverse group of people, many of whom are now close friends.
Today I was lucky enough to be out and about so I targeted this cache.
Sorry for the late log, but thanks for adding to the adventure!
