We found the container that the Bebe's placed a new log in but the only logs on that sheet was theirs and now ours! There is also a TB meant to be here but no sign of it! Recommend maintenance on this cache...TFTC
Ocw the Bebes as we stay near by for a few days. Cache was open and no logs book etc. we placed in some paper and replaced for the next cacher.
OCW PelDroedGwin and geodog Peppa Staying nearby this was a quick stop. Cache was found out in the open, lid strewn 10m away. No sign of log so I added a fresh paper sheet. Fastened it back up and hid as I believe it was intended. Then I found some swag on the way back to our car so I added that to the container. Tftc
I love s big container. We are here for the dessert song festival. Its terrefic to get to know this fabulous place through caching

We grabbed this one as we were passing but didn't mess about 4WDing as we had just washed the 4WD.
This was the last cache I found in the NT so CU next time.
This trip was sort of in place of a trip to a Mega that got canceled due to accommodation problems, I was quite happy when Goose said do you fancy to caching break in the Northern Territory as this would be the last State or Territory for me in Australia.
Our plan was to fly into Darwin on the Friday night have a couple days in the area then start heading South stopping overnight whenever we needed to, our next goal was the drive to the geographic centre of Australia at Lambert Centre and then head back to Alice to fly home ten days later.
We both had a great trip finding some important old caches, large ones and the odd clever one too, we found Ammo Cans all over the place which was nice as i think we have found most of the ones at home in Tassie.
Thanks for the cache.

and this was the last cache of the trip. We drove pas here a couple of days ago so came back for it today.
Thanks Alicecaching
Our Northern Territory journey began in Darwin around 3am after a very delayed flight. We drove as far north as Fresh Water Camp (northeast of Darwin), followed by a loop to Liberated Cox (out to the west) and Litchfield National Park returning to Darwin. We then headed south with overnight stops at Katherine, Daly Waters and Devils Marbles before reaching our southernmost accommodation at Erldunda. From here we did a day trip to Lamberts Gravitational Centre on onward past Finke. Our last couple of days were in Alice Springs with a side trip via Hermannsburg and Glen Helen, all up covering just under 3800km. My thanks to all the COs with hides throughout the territory for helping make our trip so enjoyable.

Easily found but logbook completely wet, I couldn't write on it. Thanks for the cache here!
Found it after following the gps rather than where I assumed it would be. Unfortunately the log is wet and I had no paper to replace it with so I’ve taken a photo instead. T4TC

I didn’t want to un roll the paper too far because it’s a bit worn. Maybe some new paper is needed?
On a working holiday from South Australia and staying close by, had to grab one from another state, tftc
Thanks!!! Awesome fun with my mum and dog was digging for a bit but then figured out what i really should be doing…
Easy find from Temple Bar Caravan park. Maybe this is a replacement cache because the container and log look new and I can't work out why it's got 20 favourite points.
Sir_spectre and I went on a long overdue holiday to the Northern Territory. We had some great experiences and saw some amazing natural wonders. Not all went to plan - covid closures, flood effected roads, renovations, hot weather, some car troubles and not forgetting the huge jump in fuel costs
Any caches that needed repairs were fixed and numeous logs were replaced or added too.
Thanks to Alicecaching from mogni

replaced due to flood. And this time it's a regular not a mirco as a replacement.
Mogni and myself went to the Northern Territory for a 10 day holiday. We drove 5478 km's in those 10 days. The plan was to go up the Sturt highway and then go via Ayers Rock, King's Canyon and then through to Alice Springs stopping at the gorges/chasm/gaps along the way. As you can expect nothing goes to plan. Day 1 Adelaide to Cooper Pedy, made it just before the Roxby Downs turn off and blow the side wall on the tire of the 4x4, 193 km detour just to get a tire and even then it was the second tire place that had the tire the correct size. We had camels come in to the campsite in Erldunda Roadhouse, they even left hoof prints 1/2 a foot from the tent, at King's Canyon we had dingo's come through the camp ground both nights we where there and at Alice springs we had a mouse move in under the tent in their campground. Some of the aboriginal towns we passed where in lock down because of covid 19 so no going in to get fuel there, that changed some plans. The floods where way worse up in Northern Territory than i realized. Some creeks/rivers i could see the debris over 2 meters from the river bed and down one 4x4 track it washed the road away completely, the hole was 3/4 the length of the 4x4 and over 6 foot deep. The temp was 33 to 36 for 9 of the 10 days and finally cooled down for the drive home. We got 7 different caches types in the N.T. plus every different cache size. It was a good trip but not the one we planned. To many of the roads in the N.T. where damaged and not repaired ( still closed ) so that cancelled plan A but that's just a excuse to come back isn't it. Come back and see what you missed last time when the roads are fixed. We came with 19 regular " geocaching size " containers and a milk crate of small containers by day 7 all the regulars where used as replaced caches and by day 8 the smalls where gone. It was the UV rays a lot more than the floods that killed the caches and almost all the log books where saved, the micro containers seemed to have constantly full log sheets so they where replaced too.

This is our last cache in Alice Springs. We have had an amazing time here and are thankful to all the CO’s for their time and effort in placing the caches around here. We found this one, signed to log and replaced as found. Thanks Alicecaching for this one.

Loved this one scored a Hannah Montana watch and left a travel bug and coffee little shop!
This was such a cute cache. We loved finding it and it was a good size to leave a decent swapsie. Thank you
The ground is soft after the big rains yesterday. Tam and I cross the fence line, through the scrub. Very cute cache. Cheers!
Very cool cache, took the geopups out for a walk nearby and made a detour to find this one.

Another perfect warm Winter day for a trip around while at Alice for a few days.
Not many muggles around today and a few good quick finds.
A good hide at GZ, worth a laugh or 2.

We set out early this morning to get our cache for the day.

we gave it a hug, signed the log and put it back in its cozy
little hidey spot. A fave point for the cute little fella.

We were in the area for a few days so decided to grab a few caches while we were here. There were a few cars coming in and out of the area so we headed down the track to check out what was down there. A nice area, it certainly seems to be very popular with the locals.
The cache was found in very good order. We loved the cache container! The container alone deserves a favourite point from us.

Having cleaned up all the necessary mechanical work and maintenance work that we need to do this was to be our last day in Alice so we decided to head out and clean up a few more caches.
We pulled up near gz and were very happy that there was no one out exercising their dog today which made for a nice easy search and happily a nice quick find and our name was added to the log. It's a shame when things like this get left behind as they normally become very anxious and fret but this little fellow although happy to see us was just as happy to be left behind in his new home.
Many thanks Alicecaching for the cache, a favourite point from us.
