I spent the day exploring various cycle trails in the area.
Had to go a little cross country for this one.
Didn't have a clue about the hint until I googled it.
A systematic search from various angles soon revealed the caches hiding spot, although it is well camo'd.
Thanks for setting this up

Nice to get out after work and do this trail on our bikes.
Was wondering what the hint meant. A nice quick find. TFTC

I couldn't recall where and what Babayaga was, I knew I had heard the name somewhere...a good hide with an even better back story. Found with Kauriforest on the bike circuit. TFTC
Even in day time I manage to spook myself out, always imagining creepy crawlies or spookys. Spotted cache and happy to grab without sticking my hands places I can't see haha.
“How many minutes in an hour and a half?” Looks like a clue from some other type of game found this using common cache sense. Thanks for the find.
Baba Yaga has helped me and I searched her like you said to and she is a very interesting character reminds me of deadpool
My son and I had a rare opportunity to spend the day together without his annoying sisters (his words haha) and with such awsome spring weather we decided to hit the bike track grab some caches
Son and I were getting pretty competitive by this point on who could find the cache first, I won!!

This brought back suppressed memories of stories Mr Coblet heard as a child and an eerie silence seemed to fall across the land as we arrived at GZ.
Definitely a very apt clue, we were pleased to make a quick find and followed it up with a even quicker getaway before Baba Yaga came out to see what was going on.

Another good find. Have come back to this as found ourselves on wrong side of river. Useful to watch number sequence to avoid searching across the water!
Sorry, couldn’t do it. Pollen from the long grass driving us nuts. Searched every ‘yellow streak’ I could see, but had to call it quits Maybe another day not in summer!
Beautiful bike along the track looking for caches. This was a quick find. Thanks for the cache
I'm glad to biking in the opposite direction now as that is way the wind is blowing so it's no so hard yakka on the bike. A quick find here.

Visiting Tauranga for the weekend and staying at an Airbnb which provided bikes. Headed out early to tackle this series. Not too many people about so reasonably undisturbed caching. No familiar with the hint so my imagination had fun. TFTC
We started off on the wrong side of the river for this one so had to do a bit more walking and get it on the way back. The hint was extremely helpful TFTC
Watched on by the cows we hunted before we located with the help of the hint.thanks for the cool caches along the trail.

Not quite sure why Mr Geckoh struggled with this one last time but the cache was in hand within a minute of arriving at GZ - understood the hint after the cache find! TFTC

We were searching but came up with nothing. About to give up Albert had one more look and the cache was ours. TFTC

Went around a few times - then the ah ha moment - the cache was larger than we expected to find, and Mr L left it a little bit easier for the next person to find.
After the awesome electrical storm we had on Friday night the sun rose to a beautiful calm clear morning and the chance to hunt for some caches.
A very cool cache and is in good condition.

SB20 and I took to our bikes and had a great afternoon biking along this cycle way. We got caught up in a parade of dairy cows along this part of the track which made for another interesting aspect here.TFTC
On this lovely sunny weekend Kathykaches and I decided to shake the dust off our old bikes and give one of these cycle trails a bit of a go. We had a great time cycling through here and stopping every few hundred metres to hunt for a cache. We signed most logs as KK + SB20. Lots of great caches on this trail and well crafted hints and hides. There were a couple that we missed so we will definitely be back to finish it off properly! Thank you for the caches!
Found 12.45pm
Read hint and thought that this had to be the area and spot on. Cache all good. SLTFTC

One of seven caches located whilst cycling this walkway this afternoon. Took a few minutes to find. On structures like this it can sometimes be a little confusing as to what is genuine ‘equipment’ and what isn’t. Googling the hint helped a fraction, I think. Eventually bent down and managed to spot the cache. #1854. TFTC.
The walk way is so muddy today, but my white shoes stayed white . Wasn't planning on going for a walk today so didn't have anything apart from a pen and my phone with me, which is enough until dark.
Was looking from the wrong angle, moved then spotted right away,

Find number 3822. I decided that I would spend the day in Tauranga attempting to clear some of the solved puzzle caches I have. And collecting points for the Planetary challenge. Unfortunately I did not leave Hamilton until 12 pm.
I know this is not a puzzle cache but I was walking past so I had a quick look. Quickly found and returned. Cache all good. Thank you for the placement.

With the dog... We came over to Tauranga to have a go at the new Wherigo. Just filling in time until nightfall...
We actually attempted this one on the way past, but didn’t find it until we returned. By then, part of the hint made more sense. The cache was pushed further in than anticipated, and we got it by feel alone... TFTC.

Even after reading past logs I still couldn't find this one and the door was unlocked but don't think I have to go in there to find it?
Took a moment to look at the things from a different angle and soon spotted the cache. T4tc
Out and about with Pagenz for a days caching in Tauranga. Great little series of caches. Thanks
Time to head out and tidy up this map a little. I gathered the family and this was our fifth stop. I sent the little ones in to find this one. Cheers tryfyn, TFTC
Rain threatening on a Sunday - great time to go caching, though there were still a few keen dog-walkers out. Figured we would bike between the drops and if it got too hard, the car wasn't too far away.
First find turned out to be a red herring. A rather good one that had us wondering for a while, but we carried on looking - chicken legs?? - and came up with the goods, right where they should be. Ha ha good fun. Cache all good. TFTC

I did not get the hint at all, but it must have relevance . Peel googled it whilst I fished around soon had my hand on though. interesting hint we must find out what it is.
Must be the witches curse as I can't seem to find it.... with all the silt around GZ I wonder if it may be washed away....
Tonight was another adventure crewed by kiwis69, 11HPG11 & HKCB to see what we could find along this part of Tauranga as together and separately we had spent a lot of time clearing out other areas but not this one so it was a bit of a mystery as to what we would in turn find.
Generally we signed as HOAC or some variant of that (depending on how tired we were or whom for that matter signed the Log). We left Hamilton at 6pm collecting cachers as we went and made it home in time for breakfast (some slept on the way home - lucky buggers). Had some great walks in the evening, lots of laughs and some curses as am sure that many of these caches are easier to locate in daylight rather than the middle of the night. Not a bad night to be out and all in all about 40 caches collected, which should in turn put a hole in the map. Thanks to all the Co's who enable us to have fun.
This was the eightteenth of the evening and the first start to many kilometers that we actualy walked tonight. this entire segment we walked and enjoyed as we had the area to ourselves.
Thanks for the placement, Thanks for the cache

Another night mission in Tauranga tonight, but this time Cats&Dragons, Kiwis69 and 11HPG11 joined in the all night fun. Leaving Hamilton about 6pm meant we could get a good few hours in before sleep called and we headed back home to bed, still it was about 4am when we called it a night. A few tricky/frustrating hides, and a couple of DNF's made it a longer night than needed but still a really fun night out caching. A big thanks to the CO's for all the hides we found, we signed the logs with HOAC to save space.
Parked near No.8 and took advantage of previous trips to this area and used another man made structure to cross the river and avoid doing the full loop. No really problems with any of the hides though a few did take a few minutes searching to locate. Thanks for the trail.

Out on a Friday night mission with Cats&Dragons, HKCB and Kiwis69. Because who wants to spend Friday night sitting at home watching TV when you can skip the sleep and cache all night long. Signed logs as HOAC to save room
A lovely spot for a moonlit stroll on a frosty night. Yep we had no idea on the hint, but have now googled and it makes total sense now! Managed to use the caching instinct and had this one found, signed and returned before we got too cold!

Over from Hamilton on a night caching mission around Tauranga with HKCB, Cats&Dragons & 11hpg11. Really enjoyed walking along here on a clear moonlit night. No idea about the clue but thankfully that didn't matter; having checked out the obvious pipe-dream, it wasn't too much longer before we found the real cache. Cache signed as HOAC to save logbook space. TFTC
Was a great day for a ride today. SplattyNZ and I decided to pick up the recent caches along the new power trail.
A quick find here.

Pulled up to the obvious structure, and noticed something very cache-looking but no, wasn't that pipe dream!
Was about to Google the clue but TNX Pro was getting down and dirty and was too quick - making the find before I could get my phone out to bring up a browser.

On the way back and spotted the hint item afar. Didn't take long to find the cache but I did expect to find a few more footsteps in the mud. TFTC
We decided today would be a good day to take the bikes to Tauranga and tackle some of the new caches on the cycle trail. Mrs S has not been riding for a couple of months because she had a fall and ripped a 20cm hole in her leg. Now it has almost healed it's time to regain the fitness, strength and balance.
Cool hint. We seem to be following Flossy around the track today.
Great trail and enjoying the ride.
Thanks tryfyn

No idea what the hint means!! This took longer than necessary, I actually had to paf, who confirmed I was in the right spot (only then did I have to screw all the loose screws back in. Oops)Thanks.
I want to know how you placed this one and left no geo trail prints in the silt ...you have been caching too long Tryfn ....the GPS took me right the spot of this cunningly place cache ...really enjoying this walk / jog and really wishing I had used my bike lol.....but another clean Sheet ( FTF ) Thanks Tryfn for a great we çache
It was hard having to pass meters away from No 6, but I wasn't swimming. Again a good cryptic hint, but not needed, we were on a roll. Thanks Tryfyn.
