Have found what we think is where the geocache is meant to be. The log isn’t there.
Nice to get out after work and do this trail on our bikes.
A nice quick find. Cache is broken unfortunately, have permission from CO to log. TFTC

Hi I just thought I would let you know I was passing through and thought I would see if any new names were added to the cache and how it was doing and when I went to look the cache had been broken leaving just part of it left. I looked around a bit incase it was somewhere around on the floor but I couldn't find it due to there being a lot of grass the logbook and anything that may have been with it is no longer there. Thanks for all the caches around the area but sad to see that one broken.
No luck today.
Very damp underfoot, I had to push the bike through 150mm of water, which was surrounding the cache.
Next time.......

Was very easy to find apart from getting my boots wet. I'm sorry i took two places up signing my username is very long and it was hard to write at night but TFTC. Glad to see the guard is still there
Squelched my way through one bog to get to this one. Didn't have gumboots but had a bike...didn't help haha. Guardian still there and added a waterproof log so next visitors can sign. Now to squelch through the next bog to the next one!
After many years this finally completes the on yer bike series for me. Fittingly I came in by bike, pretty I’ll timed to come in after days of rain. This location was under a foot of water. However since I’d gotten this far I abandoned the bike and went for the cache sans shoes. Should have bought some extra log paper however, as was unable to sign. Thanks for the series. Many bike rides were had here, and the tracks keep improving.
Suggest you sack the guard. He's let someone steal the log.
Maybe he doesn't have phone coverage

Hey again. The container does not have a log book in it but I did put a little something in there for the next person or find
My son and I had a rare opportunity to spend the day together without his annoying sisters (his words haha) and with such awsome spring weather we decided to hit the bike track grab some caches
This is the cache I spotted quite easily and it wasn’t really concealed, still a nice quick find though

We were wondering what the hint could possibly mean as we approached GZ however it all became clear when we began our search.
Another great cache in this very enjoyable series. Such a great variety of hides. Thanks tryfyn.

Lovely day out on the bikes. Nice to be able to get off and have a search every few hundred metres. Thanks the the cache
Another find on this very cool bike trail. Not too muggles about which is good but I still keep an eye out for them.

Visiting Tauranga for the weekend and staying at an Airbnb which provided bikes. Headed out early to tackle this series. Not too many people about so reasonably undisturbed caching. Liked the container. TFTC
Submitted via Garmin Live Geocaching. Cache container door open. All good.
I'm walking to cover all this area. Will have to sell my spare MAP64s and get a bike.

Nice quick find, TFTC! Quite a large walk for us today we walked from the historic village to the On the trail KV and found this one on the way back.
Really enjoyed walking this track today... although the feet are a bit sore now. TFTC
Hardly seen anyone the whole walk and at this point I meet two joggers and a man and his dog. Was able to retrieve and hide secretly though!
Auf unserer GC-Tour heute haben wir uns vorgenommen einige Cache in Tauranga zu knacken... dieser hier war nur leicht getarnt.

Find number 4573. The last time I walked this trail I walked in the other direction and did not find this one, But I see the hide may have changed since then. Thankfully I signed and moved on. Thank you for the placement.
I took the dog out in the rain again today.
She gave me that look as if to say "Have you seen it out there" when I said let's go for a walk.
We got to the previous cache we checked checked on in good time so I thought why not have a go at this one.
The amount of rain this area has had in the last 24 hours is incredible so there was a lot more water on the tracks and general area than yesterday.
The track around the cache location was flooded (should have put my gumboots on but my boots were ok) but the cache is in good condition.

SB20 and I took to our bikes and had a great afternoon biking along this cycle way. TFTC
On this lovely sunny weekend Kathykaches and I decided to shake the dust off our old bikes and give one of these cycle trails a bit of a go. We had a great time cycling through here and stopping every few hundred metres to hunt for a cache. We signed most logs as KK + SB20. Lots of great caches on this trail and well crafted hints and hides. There were a couple that we missed so we will definitely be back to finish it off properly! Thank you for the caches!
Out on the bike still. Enjoying all these on this run. Some very well cammoed indeed, took my time biking along

One of seven caches located whilst cycling this walkway this afternoon. The quickest find of them all. #1855. TFTC.
The walk way is so muddy today, but my white shoes stayed white . Wasn't planning on going for a walk today so didn't have anything apart from a pen and my phone with me, which is enough until dark. Managed to find it pretty quickly. TFTC
Out with a couple of the kids and squirrel nutcase doing a few caches on this fine afternoon. Nice quick find here today thanks for replacing cache.

With Davidson clan... ANZAC Day, and not really planned or prepared for a big caching assault. We just thought we'd go with the flow and pick off any caches that we needed...
We have been chipping away at this series of caches and enjoying the walk with a cache purpose... We passed on this one when we were here last. The coordinates seemed to take us back into the swampy scrub, and we hadn't come prepared for wading. We noticed with interest that the CO had updated this cache, and we wondered what change had been made. We were astounded to make a quick find out of this very obvious hide. Hopefully, it will last a while. TFTC.

Well that's ridiculous hiding a micro here and with no hint even more so if gz has changed since cache was hidden maybe love it or update the hint . DNf for us after a long search definitely not a 1.5
Believed I actually struggled with this one quite abit and even got stung right by gz. Lots of geotrails to help the searching though (: thank you
Wet feet cos I was in the wrong spot. Luckily my other half is smarter. Ttfc
Out on the bike trails to get our points up for the week... at first this looked a daunting prospect but it was ease enough in the end; thanks for the placement, much appreciated.
Checked. The lid is missing but has now been replaced with an adequate substitute. Logbook is waterproof so will be fine, even if water enters the cache. However, the tree is long gone so the hint is no longer relevant and has been changed.
Out and about with Pagenz for a days caching in Tauranga. Great little series of caches. Thanks
Time to head out and tidy up this map a little. I gathered the family and this was our Fourth stop. I wasn't feeling very confident with this cache due to the previous logs but we fluked a quick find probably due to the hinted item being demolished and the cache container being broken. Log is still intact but the entire hide needs some TLC. Cheers tryfyn, TFTC
Rain threatening on a Sunday - great time to go caching, though there were still a few keen dog-walkers out. Figured we would bike between the drops and if it got too hard, the car wasn't too far away.
As previously mentioned the little yellow tree is no more. In fact the top of the cache is no more either. We wedged a piece of log along the top to help keep the rain out. Luckily the log paper is waterproof, so it is surviving OK. Will report a needs maintenance. TFTC

Didn't give this cache a serious attempt after reading previous logs, and with tree cut down and a lot of slashing come pruning in that area, coupled with the muggle activity around g z. will keep this on the watch for our next visit to Tauranga.

Backtracked back and shimmied over the pipe across the creek, did have to take the cycle shoes off and walk across in socks as it could be a bit dodgy otherwise...
this one did require the smartphone to come out to look up the hint and previous logs, the hint is now not useful anymore and the yellow tree has been decapitated just above cache height, in fact the lid is gone too so exposing the log.

Found the cache however the area had just been cut back today and the cache is damaged. We did put a stone where the lid should be hope this protects the cache until a repair can be done. Gets a fave from us TFTC
Tonight was another adventure crewed by kiwis69, 11HPG11 & HKCB to see what we could find along this part of Tauranga as together and separately we had spent a lot of time clearing out other areas but not this one so it was a bit of a mystery as to what we would in turn find.
Generally we signed as HOAC or some variant of that (depending on how tired we were or whom for that matter signed the Log). We left Hamilton at 6pm collecting cachers as we went and made it home in time for breakfast (some slept on the way home - lucky buggers). Had some great walks in the evening, lots of laughs and some curses as am sure that many of these caches are easier to locate in daylight rather than the middle of the night. Not a bad night to be out and all in all about 40 caches collected, which should in turn put a hole in the map. Thanks to all the Co's who enable us to have fun.
This was the ninteenth of the evening and the first start to many kilometers that we actualy walked tonight. this entire segment we walked and enjoyed as we had the area to ourselves.
Thanks for the placement, Thanks for the cache

Another night mission in Tauranga tonight, but this time Cats&Dragons, Kiwis69 and 11HPG11 joined in the all night fun. Leaving Hamilton about 6pm meant we could get a good few hours in before sleep called and we headed back home to bed, still it was about 4am when we called it a night. A few tricky/frustrating hides, and a couple of DNF's made it a longer night than needed but still a really fun night out caching. A big thanks to the CO's for all the hides we found, we signed the logs with HOAC to save space.
Parked near No.8 and took advantage of previous trips to this area and used another man made structure to cross the river and avoid doing the full loop. No really problems with any of the hides though a few did take a few minutes searching to locate. Thanks for the trail.

Out on a Friday night mission with Cats&Dragons, HKCB and Kiwis69. Because who wants to spend Friday night sitting at home watching TV when you can skip the sleep and cache all night long. Signed logs as HOAC to save room
A lovely spot for a moonlit stroll on a frosty night. Almost got the feet wet but decided to take another angle and got straight to it. Nice camo, that hides it well yet still visible to a cacher. Thanks for the series

Over from Hamilton on a night caching mission around Tauranga with HKCB, Cats&Dragons & 11hpg11. Really enjoyed walking along here on a clear moonlit night & also glad to be searching here at night; can imagine it's a popular spot during the day. Almost followed the false geotrail into the marshy/wet grass but thankfully backtracked & found an easier way to grab the cache. Cache signed as HOAC to save logbook space. TFTC
Was a great day for a ride today. SplattyNZ and I decided to pick up the recent caches along the new power trail.
Spotted a couple of geotrails leading right into the swamp or cutty grass. Of course only after we got our feet wet and drew blood we made the find. The tree ain't yellow, so hint was really no help, but was actually quite obvious but still well disguised.
Well done
Tftc.

On an Anzac Day ride with TNX Pro we stopped here and headed towards GZ, completely missing the hint tree as it is a different colour (and the same colour as most trees .
Managed to cut my leg here and narrowly avoided getting my shoe wet before making the find in a very cleverly camo'd container.
Great hide and earns a fav

Last one for us today and really enjoyed our ride and caching. Richard spotted this one and we soon had the log signed and back. I just read Jandals log about losing her sun glasses. We saw them and have text her - hopefully she will get them back. Thanks for the series - a lot of work much appreciated and a favourite point for them all TFTC
Stopped to find this one only to see it was on the other side where we had already been. HOW DID WE MISS THAT. Damn, damn damn. That spoils our row of smilie faces. Now we will HAVE to come back.
(FTF)....This is a really cool camo ...Tryfn you have gone to a lot of effort placing and constructing these caches ....the co ords were great and allowed for a quick find and sign thank Tryfn a fav from me
{FTF} joint. Really?? That far to the next cache??? Driving sounds a better idea!! Had to laugh at your not so cryptic hint. Another great camoed container. Thanks Tryfyn.
Now this is where, between 3&4 that I lost my sunglasses! The lil yellow tree was quite kakariki today. Nice camo job.
