*Another geocaching adventure with woolwood9.*
*We visited many good caches and trails on our trip in WA and had a lot of fun!*
Really appreciate the cache owners effort putting this container out.

All logs stamped: *tm/ww NZ*
The "Heading South" trail was a good target for today.
Good caches, a few quite tough finds and the road was really very busy but plenty of space to pull over.

In Bunbury and Collie for WAGB2022! A massive weekend of caching and catching up with friends. A big thank you to all the COs that have placed caches for this weekend, as well as COs maintained by existing listings. You have made this weekend what it is! Apologies for the generic logs. Cheers OOH YEH! Big Grin

05-May-22
Another day, more caches to find. This day brought me back to this trail of geocaches.
What a nice parking place you have provided at this GZ. It appears others think so too - by the quantity of rubbish around. Why do parents feel the need to dispose of nappies in such ways?
Anyway, after side-stepping the rubbish, I managed to find the cache quite quickly.

After staying in Pinjarra overnight, we cached around the area in the morning before heading south to Bunbury. Compared to previous days, it was unpleasant with heavy and intermittent showers and strong winds. Despite that we managed to found a number of caches.

Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks OOH_YEH for the cache.

Hi there OOH YEH.

We tried caching north of Bunbury today & found your cache **"HEADING SOUTH #26 OOH YEH"** at 9:50:00 AM .(This makes our find count 23619).

Thanks for placing this cache here. Over the years, Geocaching has taken us on many adventures and to lots of wonderful destinations all over Australia. Without 'caching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wanderings. 'Caching has also introduced us to a diverse group of like-minded people, many of whom we now call friends.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 3m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing
**Left:** Smiley Badge.

Thank you OOH YEH for adding to our adventure.

Regards

Ian & Penny

I had plenty of time today to stop and grab these caches. All were fairly easy finds. The only difficulty was the amount of traffic that uses this highway.
Great series.

11-May-19
Overshot the zone again, this time by about 300m. Walked along the firebreak and through another spider's web to find the cache.

29-Dec-18
Today's exploration took us to some places on the Leschenault Peninsula where we found several caches, along with ilook4geo. There is some interesting history to discover and great views as well. Our return trip to camp took us on a run along the highway, heading south again. Each log found was signed, mosly as GP2, ilg. Thank you to OOH YEH for placing this cache and for being well prepared with ample log books in each cache in this series.

Suscoe headed out early today from Bunbury on a mission to the north to complete a range of traditionals and a multi as well as the Heading South series along the Forrest Highway.
We had clear skies for most of our trip with some fluffy clouds appearing early afternoon.
The temperature was in the high 20s and the traffic was light to moderate at times.
We found all caches that we had identified for this trip.
Well done to the cache owners for ensuring that there was a reasonable pull off area near each cache.
Thanks to OOH YEH for this hide, we were glad we were having a go at all of these today, almost done.

We had decided to head down to Dalyellup to find some solved puzzles but as my tally was heading to 4000 I wanted it to be something special.
So last night I had a look at what caches there were on offer and made the easy choice of finding 7 of OOH YEHs Heading South series ending with Heading South #30 The Final as my 4000th find.
Thank you my friend for placing these caches along this long long road making the trip down south much more enjoyable.....

07-May-17
Had a huge day off planned with Cravo10, so decided we should head down South of Mandurah to cleanup some new series of caches that have been published and clean up the caches on the journey between Mandurah and Bunbury so that we can have a caching trip to Bunbury soon that doesn't involve too many stops on the way down so that we can actually cache out Bunbury and Busselton in the coming months.

Our first stop was the John Tognela walk trail caches, which included one archived cache found in great condition, lovely walk and special thanks to webbly wa for replacing the first one that was clearly lost in the fires.

We then tried for the ponder this series by Jinta29, which was going to give us some huge amounts of months unloved, found 8 of the 9 in the series, with a DNF on number one which gives us 48 months of unloved.

We cleaned up the OOH YEHs heading south caches on the way down which were all nice quick finds with good co ords. I wonder how far this series will end up going? Hopefully all the way to Bunbury Very Happy

We then headed to grab the new yalgorup five caches that were recently placed, all found in good order and were in such a lovely area that I'd love to explore more, hopefully you can place a few more caches in this series and we can come back and spend more time exploring the area.

We then continued back towards Mandurah caching up a storm grabbing everything along the way that we could, including trying for some archived caches that are long gone, so we weren't all that successful on that front. We found a good variety of caches today and was good to finally make another huge dent in the Mandurah caches so we won't need too many caching runs down here to keep the area clean

Thanks to the local COs for their hides and we can't wait to come back to the area, we had a great day. Thanks

*FTF* @ about 12.18pm (my gps said 11.18am I think but sitting in my car I realised gps and clock didn't match so went back and changed time)

I had been out at Australind to find a cache for this weekends souvenir so got home about 15 mins after these were published.
Checked my emails and thought why not as usually I don't go for a solo FTF as I like to share the excitement with my caching buddy Rach2 but she is away.
Since I don't cache with my phone I had to download to gps then get my Nuvi sorted and off I went.

Was so surprised to find a blank log 55 mins after publication, maybe everyone is away (lucky buggers Big Grin and this time I had glasses to read the gps Razz

Log signed and time to head home and do chores
