I stopped here to get the string of three caches in this park. The first one was fairly easy. TFTC.
Quick find exactly as hint says. We also acknowledge the traditional custodians of New Zealand / Aoteroa, as we geocache throughout their land while on holiday. Thanks for showing us this place, & for placing and maintaining this cache. The is our playground
Day 3 of trip with Blue Jay around the south island. Today we went from Hokitaki to Fox Glazier and again saw some beautiful countryside..This cache was found along the route.TFTC. Toffee Man.
Took a little while to spot this cache. So many options. Mr Curzzz eventually spotted it a bit lower than expected. Thanks for placing.
Today before we headed to our next stop, Reefton, we popped over to Ross as we wanted to explore this little town. Then picked up a few as we made our way to ReeftonParked nearby and began to search - eventually found but no longer tethered as described. Signed and replaced as found TFTC Tim and Viv - ddm
I'm excited to see all the activity around this area. Unfortunately, we couldn't find cause it was dark
We were here to replace the now wet paper replacement log and put in a new waterproof one. All good here. Happy Caching
Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are currently parked up at the DoC Lake Mahinapua Campsite … we’d been down to Ross & were heading back to our campsite but decided to detour & have a look for a few more local caches … this cache was easily found, albeit we had to wait for some ‘muggles’ to vacate the car park … log completed & replaced … note: log book wet … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #3,908 for us.
Day 7 on our holiday in New Zealand. Today our tour is going from Fox Glacier to Punakaiki. We also visited this traditional cache, found it, and signed the logbook.

We also unknowingly parked right beside it looking for some shade from today's hot sun; TFTC
Mum was out exploring today with her boys and she happen to stop here so she checked on the cache while she was here. To her surprise the log was full so she added a temporary paper log in the meantime. We will be back with a waterproof one soon. All good here, Happy Caching
An easy find. Log has just one spot remaining.
Thanks for your amazing cache Gracir7 + Mum. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Cheers, Cympull.

I remember coming here before we had a kid and doing this walk in terribly heavy rain, silly idea, Lovely today.
A good find. We must be about the same height. Hubby usually finds these ones but I did today. Thanks for the placement.

Parked up on the return journey from Hokitika back down south. On a mission to find another oldie on the track. This was nice and close so nabbed it. Easy quick find, cache all good tftc
Finally found, 3rd time lucky. Thanks for replacing after our first visit gracie7 + Mum, not sure why we didn't see it on the second.

The caches on this walkway have been on our to do list for a while now, but we have always run out of time. Good to have time today.
The car park was empty on arrival so we looked for this cache first. It didn't take SW long to find. TFTC.

#21546. It was about time we stopped to find the caches along the walkway. The first was a quick find. TFTC.
This took longer than it should have. I was about to give up when I checked my gps one more time and there it was. Then we were off to do the walk which was excellent. Thanks!
On our way down the Island and working towards my 8000 find hopefully over the next couple of days, thanks for the placement.
Found on this wet day wasn't long before I spotted something thank you for the cache
Couldn’t find it the first time… did the walk and found the other two and returned to this one and found it before driving away! TFTC!
Found with NZDi. We are heading to the Wet Coast on a trip to help support the Hokitika and Franz Josef post-Covid lockdown tourism industry. The package includes a nights accommodation in Hokitika and Franz Josef, entry to the West Coast Tree Top Walk and the Franz Josef Wildlife Centre as well as a helicopter flight over the Franz Josef Glacier all for $299 per person. We had two glitches on our trip, the first was when we were turned back at O'Sullivans bridge due to a slip at Lyell. The second was going into Level 4 lockdown at midnight tonight cutting our trip short. The slip at Lyell wasn't much of a drama, as we detoured through Springs Junction causing a 30 minute addition to our travelling time.
Our main caching target for this trip was to gather enough metres to climb Puncak Jaya in the GCHQ Reach the Peak Challenge.
We noticed a handy trio of caches on the way back to town from doing the Tree Tops Walk, so stopped by here for a QEF PnG.

I was looking for a different type of cache but in the process found it anyway. TFTC
Had to wait for a muggle to leave before making a quick find good to turn the frown upside down..tftc
Struggled with this one at first, so gave up and walked to the beach first. On our way back we had another look and there it was. Ignore the hint - it needs to be changed. It is NOT at ground level. TFTC
We were out for the day on a maintenance run and came to check on the nearby bush walk due to a couple of DNFs, when that cache was fine we checked here just encase and couldnt find the cache. It has now been replaced but no longer has appropriate camouflage as it did before
We tried to find this between people in the carpark but didnt in the spce between 2 cars leaving and 1 arriving.
We were out on the other side of the lake so came around here to make sure this was in the correct position.
It was so All good here. Happy Caching

Fortunately I could just sneak into the carpark without getting tied up with the long queue waiting for the lights to change at the nearby roadworks. I love exploring the different variations of native bush as I wander the local tracks. Thanks for the cache.
We were travelling back to Hokitika from down south. Love this walk and happy to note cache is back. Found as per team gaters log, was uncovered so covered this cute cache with leaves etc. Thanks for the cache Gracie7 + Mum.
Thanks for putting out this cache for woolwood9 and I to find!
SL **tm/ww NZ** (may just be a black smudge on the many wet or plastic logs)
*We soon had another good cache located!*
Cache is at ground level.

Quick find - I am glad I found it first as there were muggles on my return! TFTC!!
Second week of school holidays and off on a small family camper van holiday between kids football games & practices! West Coast here we come.
After another night in Hokitika. Up early again to catch reflections in Lake Mahinipua. Then on to this lovely walkway. Just as we arrived the two other cars in the wee carpark up and left (do we smell that bad?) leaving the whole area to noisy us. Found the cache on the ground next to the front small tree....couldn't spy a likely hip high location so left it at the base of this tree with cover. Owner may need to check when next passing by - no hurry. Sorry. Onwards to the beach!

We checked on this today and sadly it had gone and the hide now unusable due to intense foraging.
We had a backup cache just encase and placed it nearby, its not a great spot but it should stay put for awhile.
All good to go again. Happy Caching

I have a 3 month sabbatical mostly traveling around the planet. My goal is to find and log 1000 caches. New Zealand is my 4th station traveling from south Christchurch to north Auckland, my first visit here, its far away. This is my sabbatical-cache #578, the car is soaked.
**Found on our February - March tour around the South Island. Logging back home in Auckland in Lockdown isolation**
Yesterday we travelled the Haast Pass and stayed overnight in the DOC campground at Lake Paringa. Today we are headed for Hokianga.
It was late in the day when we arrived at the Mananui Carpark, and we did not have time for a walk in the bush. But we did make a quick find of the cache here. Thanks.

We only had time to make this quick find as we cycle back along the highway.
The other two will have to wait for another time.

Hoping to find some caches at secret or interesting locations we are with the motorhome on the road.
Today we want to Hokitika and stopped here for a little walk. Unfortunatly it started to rain, so we did only the first Cache.
Thanks to gracie7 + Mum for hiding and maintaining.
Best regards

Almost done for the day. Had a hunt for this one as soon as we arrived at the carpark just in case someone else turned up. A nice easy find, nice container. tftc

I am on holiday with Nana and we headed off to Hokitika to have a picnic lunch with my cousins Lucas and Cyndel, after lunch we went on this walk to play on the beach. I asked Nana if we could look for this cache and with the hint I quickly had the cahe in my hand and signed and Nana put it back for me. Thanks Aunty Grace for putting caches out for us to find.
Nice and easy find. Thanks Gracie 7 for all the caches we have found at the Westcoast.
Called here this afternoon, a quick and easy find before heading along the track to get the other two caches here. Signed log, TFTC.
