In Leeds for the cricket and with a spare day today I headed out to try a few earthcaches.
By the time I arrived here the holiday crowds were full on. Lucky for me I could still grab a seat at the posed co-ords and start looking at the questions. Answered what I could while here and then a bit of research back at motel hopefully had everything covered. Answers have now been sent off to the CO.
Thanks Sam539, hope all is good, and thanks for showing me the area....and the seats. Fav point added. Photo attached

It's good to see so many Earthcaches in the City.
Our answers have been submitted for approval.
Thanks Sam539 for an unusual and interesting Earthcache.

In the city for a 2 night stay for some caching and beers. Very nice benches here, quite a large carving of the stone. TFTEC. Next stop was Revolution de Cuba where, to our dismay, we found a changed recipe for the nuclear daquiri. Now with unnecessary pineapple and pre-mixed with crushed ice. Still good but not as good! I shall write to R de C.
Message sent with answers - it's rather a belated log of this earth cache, so I hope I made enough notes during my visit to enable me to still get them correct.
I was on a business trip to Castleford. Because of train times from Edinburgh, I had to head down the afternoon before. I managed to persuade my colleague that we would be much better off staying in Leeds overnight - and as he was having to come down on a later train, he didn't argue.
So it meant I had a few hours in the evening to go caching. I was very surprised at the number of earth caches around here - each one giving such a different experience of the fossils.
Finally found somewhere to have a quick sit down, whilst examining the fossils.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Find 16 of 28 today while on tour with South Derbyshire Geocaching. Logs were variously signed SDG or stamped, depending on space.
On the approach I initially thought that the cache would be *other* nearby furniture before we spotted the cool elements that made up this Earthcache. Nice! Blue plaques aplenty here, too - all very interesting.
No issues getting the requisite info for this cache, and we took the opportunity to take a pit stop here and check out map vs. planned route. So far so good!
SL - TFTC!

Out with the South Derbyshire Geocaching gang for a tour to Leeds today. A very small and select group comprising of Collie Wobbles, Chramm, A1nnie and Metronauts departed from Burton at 07:30am and arrived at 09:00 at Leeds Station raring to go. We managed a whole host of different cache types today including an event, traditional, multi, virtual, earthcache, webcam and puzzle. There were a few pubs involved which is unusual for us on a tour, but a thoroughly good time was had by all.
All logs were stamped or signed with SDG to save space and any required answers will be submitted by one of the team on behalf of the whole group.
Soon located the correct place and after researching the required information, we relocated to sitting outside the nearby pub to have a beer in the sun.

Found the answers whilst on tour with South Derbyshire Group. Answers submitted to CO. Thanks for a great earthcache. We are really enjoying doing these on this glorious sunny day. Stopped for our second pint of the day after doing this one. Middle of the day and our thirst needed quenching.
SDG On Tour - Leeds
Having split up again to make sure we got all the Owls, this was a quick find and a good place to lose a hat!

Logging as found having visited the given coords and sent our combined answers to the CO which we hope are acceptable. Amazing what can be discovered around the city which most people wouldn’t even notice! Many thanks
Staying in Leeds as Stockport Freebird volunteers for the triathlon this weekend, with time to find caches as well.

We are doing a short business trip to Leeds and, of course, we take advantage to look for some caches.
Very early in the morning, we walk around the commercial area in order to do some Earthcache. There are plenty of them in this city!!
We have no problem to find the banks.
We have sent the answers to the owner. Hope that they are right.
