Found cache container full of water. Emptied and dried as best we could before replacing in its hiding spot.
After a short look around geoson13 did what was necessary and had cache in hand. TFYC
Streak Day #2652 - Out this way with Dave8153 for our cache of the day, we were 'walking like a geocacher'round and round til we finally made the find. TFTC

Found earlier this well on a caching walk along the mighty cooks river. This one took for ever searching between the goal posts. Eventually some subtle hints from earlier cachers helped. Tftc!
Got this one on a Sneaky ride up the Cooks river. Can confirm, Log wet but waterproof paper makes the job easier.
A quick late night find in the rain.
The hint was just enough to point me where I needed to be, though it took a couple of moments to click.
Took a TB.
The log is sodden, even before tonight’s rain.

Nice find on a morning walk. The cache didn't like the recent rain and had some water in it
Been wanting to get some more cooks River caches for a while. Nice hide here, was looking forward to a tree climb but it's just within reach.
Well that truely was a diabolical mess in the container. All dry now and elevated out of the puddle. Good to go. Just watch for falling seeds!
Found on a scoot ride along the river. Lovely way to explore and cache.

Located at 5:28pm. #1029.
Trying to be inconspicuous here was tough as the leaves were extra crunchy underfoot but thankfully just one nearby muggle in the front yard whom was wholly engrossed in his task at hand.
I deduced where the cache would be and ascended to the spot. Brought the cache down to terra firma. The container was completely full of water and the log was saturated. My impression upon was pretty pitiful. This will require maintenance.
Cheers for the placement Ziggiau.

Haven’t climbed a tree in awhile... previous logs gave a hint at what level I should be looking at. TFTC
Found with Baby J Man on cycle.
Didn't have a bike mount for the GPS so had to try and wing this (like some of the others). Luckily stopped a mere 20m from GZ. Cache found quickly - but is sodden.
Thanks ziggiau.

I had to search through the logs for a hint but something about not being short gave it away and soon had CIH. TFTC!
Found it, short people will struggle to find this,if your short come with someone tall.

Found with my wife while down in Sydney to see Hugh Jackman. After dropping off the boys we headed down. First stop Bondi and the LEGO store. Next to the hotel, but a quick detour to here, for this cache in a county I have not made a find in yet. Fixed. That’s all Sydney counties found now. Wife matched the hint, then I made the quick retrieval.
Thanks for the cache!

Saturday walk along cook river with geokid. MIssed this one when heading north. Quick find on the way back. So many old trees. TFTC
Contents still damp an old except for new page provided by redbackspider. Tftc
Went at night (bad decision) huntsmans everywhere.
Also short people will struggle

Found in the last place I looked (well I guess that is always the case, but I was about to DNF this one). A new dry log has been added to the cache but the rest of the contents are wet and smelly and need maintenance. Geo 4 yr old gave me a good laugh pointing at a near GZ location and saying 'it looks like a bum hole', and well to be honest, nature had created an interesting artwork... TFTC.
What better way to erase a Saturday ar work (very rare, thanks goodness!) than a spot of geocaching! Nice walk along the cycle way and it was nice to see the old St Anne’s church as we drove away. SL TFTC Cheers.... Gaztek
ziggiau I found your cache Cooks River History - Village of St Anne's on 16/2/19, 11:10 am. This is my find 2273 and find # 4 today. A quick and easy find, no spiders. Opened the cache and found it to be completely water logged. I put in an emergency logbook as the original was soaked. Thanks for the cache! TNSLLN
I’m 14 and even I could of had a heart failure on this one. Located the cache picked up the container and had a huntsman spider shoot up my arm

Oh man, GPS bounces around here at such it took me ages to centre in on the hide. Thankfully CIH, and as I was working up the hill, glad for the smiley
On my quest for two caches today along a different part of the Cook's River cycleway I headed across from the Chain of Ponds to St Anne's Village. I didn't think I'd ever been in this part of Sydney before but as I wound my way round the streets I realised I had been here caching before some time ago. I like the atmosphere of happy suburbia (and no units) in this area.
Once near GZ I considered the hint which I had checked at home. Initially I couldn't see anything to help but once I was standing in the right place I knew what it meant. And that meant the cache had to be there! Hmm will my dodgey knee allow me to get it? You bet!
I haven't done that for ages. I even sat near the cache to sign the log.
A very satisfying caching outing.

It was really hot now by the time I had ridden this far , on the way home from the event. This location was perfect for a bit of a shady reprieve. Loved GZ, nice hide.
Last cache for today before heading back into the city to meet some friends. Plan on coming back later this year as part of my New Year's Resolution to fill in some holes on my map.
Wow just wow. As I sat to sign the log I noticed a spider in the palm of my hand and boy did I jump! Lol. Quick find, scare of my life, then signed and placed back at gz. even thou it took me a while to regather my self after shaking the spider off I was able to sign log and place back. p.s. the deceration needs glueing back on. Amazing camoflauge!!!!!!!! 5th find of this pretty hot (31°c) day... Unfortunately.. we forgot a pen, so see the attached photo for proof that we actually found it. TFTC!
Found with The Boblets. No pen. See attached photo on The Boblets' log for proof. "Great" camouflage.
I do love a ziggiau cache and this one didn't let me down, although I did scratch around for awhile - probably shouldn't have read the few previous logs that made reference to short people. TFTC ziggiau.
I found the D/T rating to be of more use than the hint in suggesting a likely location for the cache. A quick walk around GZ and some probing in a couple of promising places, and I soon had CIH.
On a mini caching adventure with GeodudeAU and EverestHigh this arvo, we pulled up directly in front of GZ. The hint had us a little confused with what seemed like many options. Then I tried another approach and it was CIH. We removed an item that looked like food, so I hope it wasn't deliberately put there or just a reckless cacher! Anyway, all good inside. A T2? Maybe for EverestHigh, but more like a T4 for Brew! TFTC and another pleasant shady place along the river.
I was out this afternoon with Brewmaker and EverestHigh around the Strathfield area looking for some caches. We first stopped off here to find this cache. The hint was a bit too cryptic for us, but after a search in one area with no luck, Brewmaker tried a different approach and soon had the cache in hand. Signed the log and then replaced it all as found. Then it was back in the car and onto the next one. TFTC
I avoided the obvious as i found i often ignored the easiest places and concentrate on the higher rating terrain.
But after resorting to look at previous logs i realised that this time would have been successful if i trusted my caching nose.
Thanks for the cache.

With today being one of the empty days left on my caching calendar I wanted to grab a smiley today and yet again I find myself found after these newer ones close to home. I mixed it up, normally I ride my bike along here (note the slight rise in the path nearby - it gets you both ways, as do the magpies, but they were just observing today). Anyway. I had an appointment in the vicinity so I went the scenic route, driving to about 500m away then walking along the path the rest of the way. I initially got my altitude wrong but once I branched out a potentially obvious hiding spot became clear and a quick photo confirmed my suspicions! Thanks Ziggi, another good one. PS check out my photo of a tree nearby to GZ, where the root of one is clambering over another! It fascinated me...
Took a little bit of searching then something clicked and then wasnt libg before CIH
#4386- Another cache the boys would have ridden past on their ride to Botany Bay from Homebush. Not being able to ride well any more because of knee issues, I spent the time finding a few caches. These are all new since I last did the ride back in 2010. Took the tb to move on. Thanks
Today I cycled with ziggiau from Wolli Creek to the end (or the beginning?) of Cook's River. Two DNFs, twenty four finds. A broken front-brake cable and a flat tyre. What a day!
As usual, trust your geosense when the hint doesn't make any sense. Quick find, easy to do without the need for vertical displacement when you're a Dutchman!

I missed this until I read old logs and changed my way of looked at it!?!

Tftc. A bit of pointless wandering around, then went back to the ratings and realised we had to lift our game.
When I got to this cache, there were some council workers about, so I waited until they were distracted. Thanks for this cache.
Find 2 of 4 for the day while out exploring Strathfield.
Great place for a cache. On my last walk through this area I thought this would be a great location for a sneaky hide. Approaching GZ, the phone pointed to a clear structure for the hide and then it was a matter of searching through all the options...after some fruitless searching a read of the logs gave me a nudge in the right direction and it was soon success! CIH! Cute cache. Signed the log, dropped some swag and returned.
Another great cache with some interesting history! TFTC ziggiau.

Headed to Strathfield South for today's find. Not an area I ever got to as a Kid - the highway being the unnatural boundary to my cycling range.
I did recognise this area from finding the other caches nearby, though. Parked near GZ and quickly homed in on a likely spot. One quick circle and a likely spot was identified so, after waiting for a passing cyclist, I moved in. Gotcha!
Easy find.
Took away to complete signing duties, then back for the replace.
Then went for a wander, including past the church.

I had no idea of the history relating to this area, in fact I’d never even seen the pretty church but I looped around for a look on the way to GZ.
