Brilliant hide, clearly a decent bit of effort put in for such a natural hide. Cheers

Fifth geocache find in New Zealand loved looking for this and enjoying the nobly little roots in the exoskeletons of the bugs hanging off the trees and things is pretty cool thanks for the geocache from Virginia USA signed K $and GG2GA. favorite point added of course.
Saw a previous log that said we had to widen our search from the destination. Found at a nearby tree. Very clever hide. Thanks for the effort of making this cache. With LittleClan
After an unsuccessful start to the evening and a lengthy search here, we're quite glad to finally get this one. Coords seemed a bit off, so it wasn't until we widened our search area that we finally found what we were looking for. TFTC!
Over this way early after setting junior cacher and Mrs stik-a-crane up for a 10km run around Devonport.....luckily for them the clouds hid a lot of the sun, or I can only imagine what a 10km run in the full sun would have been.......I had thrown the e-bike in the van and decided to take a quick ride around looking for caches...as you do......Had to dodge a few muggles walking dogs, and the odd runner, but made the find in the end once I reminded myself who the CO was......Fav.point given for cache construction.....TFTC.
# #7,202 #----------Was worried this might have ended up being another DNF here today but after a good search, I spotted something not quite right and to lo and behold, the cache was in hand. What a clever and amazing container here today. Favourite point awarded. TFTC!!! ----------> All geocaches are signed as mmmPIZZA or mPZ

Walked past yesterday to find that a branch had fallen and GZ was rubble! Wondered if something might have happened to the cache?
Up this way again with KGD and ABCDF4But in a different areaSome great hides thanks to the CO
I'm down in Auckland for a geocaching weekend with Yvettetb. It was her birthday yesterday and I wanted some cache numbers to bring my December finds up hence the plan to hit Auckland. We did the walks in Long Bay Regional Park on Friday, walking 18.7kms and got 30 caches (including AdLabs). Saturday we cached around Lake Pupuke and got 27 caches with 10.8kms of walking. Today we did Devonport so we could attend the Narrow Neck Event. Only 9.3kms walked today but it was very much up and down the mountain at North Head. 16 caches for me today. After this mornings walking I wanted some numbers for the Summer Solstice souvenir. In the 2.5 hours we had left before the event we grabbed quite a few caches in the area. A short walk and the hunting began. We met the people we'd spied and suspected of being geocachers at the last cache here. It was lying on the ground so I returned it to a place so that it blended in. Thanks for the clever hide here today
The lawnmower person had been recently to this spot so the grass was nicely cut and after a few moments we found the cache. Thanks for bringing me here and TFGC.Day three of my birthday long weekend and what better way to celebrate than by going geocaching with Lis's Crew. What a great summers day for caching in/around Devonport to coincide with the Dip and Strike Event at Narrow Neck Beach later this afternoon.
The last one for the day before heading south again. Looked a few places before finally getting our hands on it. Thank you for the placement.
M25 / m14: rhe cachers we saw earlier at the previous cache found this cache when we arrived, saved us a lot of searching, so kudos to them for finding it. Log all good and signed here. TFTC.
Fantastic hide, took a while, found the largest slug known to mankind in the process!
Sooooo cool. We had to root around for a while but we found it. Very well camouflaged.
**#19,372**We remember being here previously, no issues with the find, nicely camo'd found near the rat trap so hopefully its camo'd enough not to be discovered.
#417Originally went to the wrong tree and found an absurd number of snails. Decided to expand my search given the cache name, and was met with quick success! Great hide, FP awarded.
I am on a mission to make 1000 points for the current geocaching challenge in May.
This equals 50 caches with more than 10 FP. So this cache was of course on my list.
After a long day of caching in Devonport, on a windy and rainy day, I approached this cache as it was already getting dark.
Lots of vegetation debris was lying around. But as this was already mentioned in previous logs, I thought the cache must be still there, and it must be in a place where it was somehow not affected by all the debris. Despite the fading light, I made a quick find by wobbling here and there.
Such a cool container. FP given.

Another day in paradise, exploring a new area of Auckland. Of course it's caching time. Tftc
A lot of chopping of branches near GZ but [@WildTulip](http://coord.info/PRA2ZC5) had found this some time ago and pointed me in the general direction (GPS didn't agree this morning). I managed to find it in a slightly different location not long after. I liked this one and am giving it an FP. Thanks for the hide GeoRick!
We were fascinated by the writeup, so detoured especially to see these knees. Sadly most of them have been cut off by the lawn mower and only scars remain. But eventually we moved some slash and found a few knees, and after a bit of leg pulling we found the cache. Nicely done, plus we learnt something new!
Nearly gave up...now find I have logged the next cache in error.
Will have to edit other one when on computer.

Looked for a while but couldn’t find it. Looking at the activity it is very well camouflaged so is probably still here
I went down so many wrong ideas on this one and even when I had the right idea, it still took a long time to sort out the exact hiding spot. Really nice hide! FP from me!
Out today visiting the Takapuna and Devonport Queen's Birthday markets and decided to stop here to grab a few caches.
This one was not far from the bus stop, so I took a little detour and headed to GZ. There were some gentlemen playing a hole not far from GZ, so was extra cautious to keep an eye out.
Upon arriving at GZ a quick search soon had something unusual in hand. A clever hide, great camo. #1387

Glad to finally find a cache after 2 dnf. It took me a while, I think I must have tried every knob before finding the right one. Clever hide that does deserve a favourite point. TFTC
My first visit to NZ and after a few hours of sleep before heading out to discover my surrounding. I decided on doing a few caches which didn't end on a couple. Sadly I didn't take a pen along with myself so took a photo. I also didn't put a log as I logged on phone. I really enjoyed the walk and the views. Some caches were more difficult than others .
Thanks for all the hard work that went into the caches.
Apologies for copy and paste.

Another sad face turned into a smile! Great camo and GPS pretty much spot on. 3/4 made happy today! SL TFTC Fav point given
I love when the hint is "the wobbly one", any excuse to kick things. Signed as HP family.
*** Retrospectively logging finds now Lock-down has spoiled my plan for improving finds to become 10+ find days. ***
Another find on my convoluted route home and glad this one was replaced by the CO before my time on the shore was up. Parked across the way and soon arrived at GZ for a nice easy find of this well camouflaged cache. FP here to add to the others, thanks GeoRick.
When I first started working over on the North Shore, initially for 3 months, then out to 6 months, I identified this target-rich environment as being what would enable me to upgrade my finds per day from single-figure find days (there were about 20 days of 5 or more). I went out over a range of dates and physically made the find, signed the log, and noted the date on my personal note. These were reserved for finds when required, or back-dated finds if not 'required'. I'd been tracking well and improved all days desired until this week when Lock-down meant the end of finding caches and thus the 5-day on 20 Aug will be missed, as will a few others coming up, I suspect.

Not a good start! Searched for 15 mins around all likely title items. Couldn’t find anything
Lawn mowing at GZ meant I had to abandon my first attempt, but got it on the way back to the car. Very cute - gets a favorite from me. TFTC.
Love it. Was looking at something that totally was not the cache then spotted it. Cool hide. Worth a fav point. TFTC
Very clever camo, this one, and it seems a few small bugs thought so too. It was interesting information as well. All in all I thought this cache was 'the tree's knees'--very cool! TFTC
There are lots of things I love about geocaching and one of them is all the interesting stuff you learn. Thanks for enlightening me here. - - Cool cache.
Way back in February Isis58, no.13 and I planned a trip to Auckland for the planned Mega event. When Covid struck and the country went into lockdown we decided to wait and see what happened - - that was less hassle than trying to get refunds on our flights anyway. Well, of course the Mega event was cancelled but luckily for us, flying was an option again by Labour Weekend. We changed some of the details of our trip but decided we would fit in as much caching as we could. We were joined by Mrs SoBad. We visited some amazing places, fitted in some walks, came across lots of people - - lots of traffic too. A huge thank you to the COs for hiding caches which presented us with puzzles to solve, took us to great places, were cleverly camouflaged, were cunningly hidden - - sometimes in plain sight - - all of the above and of course an equal thank you for the ones that just gave us one more smilie. We really really appreciated them all. Thanks !

Mrs SoBad's phone was saying we had about 50m to go when the rest stopped. So she looked without having GPS accuracy. The nicely camoed cache was soon spotted after something else was spotted.
Thanks.
Thanks.
We wandered over here from the previous cache, Searched a couple of places before coming across this wonderful hide. Can't remember if knees were needed - well I guess at least one was! Informative cache description thanks GeoRick. An all round favourite from me thanks. TFTC # 15,950
Was a very good camo on this....thanks for replacing...must have been a big job.

Find #150!!! Amazing camouflage! I found it in seconds but I thought it was really cool! Great to see the cache is back up in running again! TFTC (I didnt sign log because of covid but I took a photo of the log)
Called by in case it had been replaced but only a piece of brown/red pipe in the ground.
Another well made hide. Nicely camouflaged in its location.
Camo is deteriorating. Chunks missing exposing inner. Cache container is loose. Log paper fine, capsule fine.

Geocaching adventures while visiting friends in Auckland with Riser5. Logged as R18.
Unfortunately camo looks like it has been chewed on and is falling apart made the find a lot easier.

What a nice camo, I remember coming across one earlier in another park near Sunnynook. Thanks for bringing us here on a sunny Saturday!
Which tree, the kids asked. Great cache. The kids love the BMX track here.

Out here today to do a decent walk with themexikiwi and get some steps towards Steptember at the same time.
Didn't take too long to spot this one due to it suffering a little since its initial placement I suspect.
Nicely hidden and off to the next one - TFTC

Needing a final gem for Mystery at the Museum. Running out of time before rugby at Ngataringa Navy sports grounds (and the rain), I thought I'd have a look for this cache, as I'd done G-2's original cache, so had an idea of what I was looking for.
There were golfers nearby, but as they had their backs towards me, I had no difficulty with the find. TFTC
