Was over there on the 7th and couldnt find the cache forgot to archive it sorry. ??
Found with McAdies and jelly_bean14.We had a great time in Phillip Island and this was one of the geocaches found while there. Thanks for the hide.
Found while on our September Holiday to Phillip Island. This is a really beautiful spot to geocache.Sadly the cache had been stolen.Having been alerted to this fact on Facebook we came prepared with a bag and took all the rubbish back to a bin just leaving the logbook.Sad that someone took such a large cache!
Found with McAdies and Geo_Eddie.We were on a holiday to Phillip Island. It was so fun to find this geocache! Thanks for the hide!
Oh dear! After a long walk, weve found the cache has been taken or broken. Its contents are everywhere which isnt ideal for the environment. There doesnt seem to be the original container here.Attention is definitely required!
Looks like it might have been stolen again But they have left the log book so I am happy if you want to log it, will be over on Island on the 7th October will check it out.
Out for a blustery day of adventuring with carmlee1! Off thru the bush we went, fortunately no rain this time Now time to head back to the car....umm...which way was that?!
It was an amazing day adventuring on the island dodging storms with doddlingalong, but a break in the weather we managed the MIGHTYMEGA cache. Found the cache but did lose the car briefly. TFTC
Holy guacamole... this cache reminds me of the crocodile dundee phase 'that's not a knife... this is a knife'... well I have seen large caches before but this lived up to its name of mega large! It almost looked like it could be a portal to another world and I was a little on edge that my travel buddies may want to test the theory by giving me a little push in... watching you [@Snips and Co](https://coord.info/PR2TFBV) and [@RoamingHowie](https://coord.info/PR5FGT7) hahahhathanks very much for this original cache hide and for letting my imagination run a little wild!Good on your dad for holding his ground - it was worth more than $2 for the fun tale!
The cache has a great story, I love it!Lovely wander down through the scrub along the foreshore at dusk and what a whopper, we need two of us to open it!Thanks Bounty Trackers for rehiding the Mega, it is indeed mighty!
I had arrived in Phillip Island and met up with my co-conspirators for the weekend, Snips and Co and Kristysadventures. These large caches were definitely on the todo list so we set off on a wander to find the beasts. Having found the first one we set off to find this other mega cache, making a path through the scrub as we went.Daylight was starting to fade but it didnt stop us from finding this one before dark.A big thanks goes to Bounty Trackers for taking the time to add The Mighty MEGA Cache to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Are you ready for Victorias next big event?Join us for Victorias first ever *Block Party* to celebrate 25 years of geocaching.**When:** March 22 - 23, 2025**Where:** Hume Global Learning Centre, SunburyLog your will attend at [**GCAP417: The Sunbury Event** ](https://coord.info/GCAP417) Visit our [**Block Party website** ](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/the-sunbury-event) for more details on the exciting lineup of events and activities as they are released!
After finding the nearby mate for this one it is an interesting navigation exercise through the foreshore scrub to this one. But what a ripper, they sure make em big down this way. Worth a favourite point from me. Every now and then i find it very therapeutic to skive off from what i really should be doing to enjoy some time in nature, walking, exploring, adventuring, or just being. These days, of course, that also includes geocaching. I was feeling a bit inundated and decided to head for the coast for a sea change, at least for a few days. Phillip Island has long been a favourite so i hit the road and after a busy drive through the city i finally arrive on the island and immediately felt myself beginning to relax. When i was young i enjoyed quite a few family holidays down here and some of my happiest memories were created on splendid days exploring the beaches and rocky coasts. I will certainly find some geocaches while im here but i will probably spend more time just walking and sight seeing i think. The Mighty MEGA Cache is find number 3,701 for me. A fun large sized traditional cache I enjoyed finding as one of my caching adventures in Bass Coast Shire. I am logging this one on Tuesday 23 July 2024 at 7:18 pm and the weather is Overcast Clouds 14C 62% 10 m/s . Thanks for placing this cache for the rest of us to enjoy Bounty Trackers.*Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Taken an afternoon and an evening to head to Killy and the edge of the island. Im ashamed at how few largeCaches Ive found and so the two in these cubes were a must. TFTC, no idea how you managed to get this in here.
What a great idea. Bring swaps. Lots. Kids love this. The log is awesome but is getting subject to weather. If your visiting a zip lock bag would be of value
This was a surprising find .. how could I miss that? I almost did, it fits nicely into its environment but once you see it you cant unsee it. All in good condition.. log dry. Thank you to the Bounty Trackers for this special addition to the game board.
Yep thats a mega cache, great that its still here with so many people using these tracks, its a wonder it hasnt been lifted. These walks are always lovely and even more enjoyable when there are no snakes spotted, the suns shining and there is no wind. Thanks Bounty Trackers for the nice big cache.
This unique one should have the FAVES but then something could be said for longevity. The planets aligned and a spontaneous decision to head down to the Island for some sea breeze, ozone and coastal vistas on a free day AND of course caching (or casheering as dear mum would say) transpired. This great hobby is such an invitation to explore aspects of any location and the ISLAND has plenty of that. Quick find at GZ with a good hint. TFTc and the FUN.
Thanks Bounty Trackers for the second MEGA cache. Been meaning to get here for a while. Having walked around Cape Woolamai in the sunshine today and picking up a few other unfound caches , I drove over here to check out the Grollo suburb- big houses in sterile streets. The wander to the beach was great. Took a swim in the high tide conditions then was able to find the cache off the beach. All good -and added my name to the log.
Yay our third find for today! Very easy due to the size and precise coords. Thanks for placing these, they have been fun to find!
What a trek through the bush and a HUGE Cache Nice little series and I wonder where you got this box from TFTC find 221 thanks bounty trackers
Under water. Biting insects aplenty ouch. Will come back when things dry out. Wear long sleeves.
It's so refreshing to find such a big cache, no trying to find a micro and plenty of room for stuff. Would be nice to see the extra space being used for something more. Tftc
Found it, very nervous about snakes with the kids on a hot sunny day. Couldn't really find a safe path from the beach, but did it anyway or on front.
The oldest kid just qualified to become a volunteer Surf Lifesaver at Woolamai Surf Beach this summer and this weekend was his first patrol. So I was down for a wet weekend of driving duties interspersed with a bit of caching. There are worse ways to spend the weekend . . . I'm tarteting large caches so these two were a bonus. There was a group of teenagers camping in the dunes (didn't look like a permanent camp) but I easily skirted around them to find this cache.
TFTC! 7 November 2023 4:43:34 pm 6376Yes thats one big mighty csche! One of the biggest we have seen! Enjoyed the walk along the beach! Very quiet today!
Our aim was to visit beaches today and we first wanted to do this caches as we had already done the other Mega cache. Left our geoteen kids on the beach while we headed for our find. The find was easy but we had to do a tidy up and remove the rubbish. Thanks for the cache
We found this one after the replacement for this cache's original location. Very cool seeing such a big geocache and reading the story behind the cache ️
Well, I don't think they get much bigger than this cache. Both Rebel Acts and l did ponder what its original use might have been.
Out and about with Tizz13 for another one of our weekly caching adventures, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.
We had unfinished business down at Phillip Island and the plan was to walk the Cape Woolamai loop.
This is one of the caches found today. Certainly was large, We wondered if the CO carried it here? Sadly the contents were in a bit of disarray.
Thanks Bounty Trackers for the cache.

Wow that would be the largest contain I have seen ever. Walked along the beach cutting through the greenery made the easy find amazing thanks for bringing me here
Thanks. Now, this is my largest cache. Nothing like bush bashing to find it. Luckily I wasn't here at night.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
