Rama497 and I searched for this one but unfortunately, we came up empty, even with the spoiler photo. Another time.
Found it!! Had to use the photo as a guide, I ended up walking down William street looking for it!!! Cute little cache
Kings Cross, Australia you ever love it or hate it in this case I love it . It has changed dramatically in recent years due to the lockout laws and long gone are the days of NZ singer Sharon O'Neil's song Maxine being filmed in Kings Cross. I was out and about in the area for Business and there weren't due to many muggles about today due to COVID-19, so having a opportunity to find the cache wasn't to hard. After 15 minutes of searching the cache was soon found [^] . Thanks for the cache 2qt2bstr818. TFTC!!!
After doing some research work around The Domain and The Botanic Gardens I walked up to Kings Cross to try to find this cache. It looked like quite a long way and there was a bus but I was too impatient to wait and after hiking on LHI last week this walk was a piece of cake!
Now I have been here before with no success, just too many walking muggles and those stopped in cars at the lights and then a group of cyclists stopped right beside GZ so I was just to nervous to search for it.
Now a few years more experienced, and knowing how cheeky this CO's hides are I just went for it and of course found it easily.
The log was full but having walked so far I wasn't going to leave without signing my name so as I'm a diligent cacher and always carry spare paper in my geobag I cut it to the right size for the cache containere (yes I have scissors too) and signed my name then replaced the cache.

I have a 3 month sabbatical mostly traveling around the planet. My goal is to find and log 1000 caches. Australias Perth and Sidney are my second and third stops, this is the first visit to Australia for me since it is far away from Switzerland. Next station will be New Zealand. This is my sabbatical-cache #169.

I remember this one on our walking tour of the area. It was so good to learn about the history of Kings Cross.
Our adventure really started a couple of years ago with our cruise booking and the savings plan. This year we arrived Feb 6 and had three days to explore Sydney before cruising with Kteeeee and Mr. Kteeeeee, MissPeach13 and MrPeach13 and WRTagalong. We had a great trip with no cases of Co-vid19. We arrived back to Sydney Mid march. The others flew home. WRT and I continued on. We had some time in Brisbane and then cut our trip short as the virus was causing too many challenges and our Country called us home. We stayed quiet and flew out the 25th arriving to a ghost city in Vancouver.
These caches are only being logged now that I am hooked up to the computer and I can find the caches I missed logging. If I have made an error please let me know if something seems wrong as time has passed and my memory is not what it used to be.
Thank you to all the Aussies who set out these caches, maintained them and to the Aussies who offered us shelter and long term shelter if we could not get home. If I had to be stuck anywhere in the world I would choose Australia!

Here with the CCC gang (5beatriff, kteeeee, wtagalong and me), exploring Sydney for 3 days before we board our cruise ship. We signed the log CCC. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC
It's not the people walking by that look at what you're doing, it's car drivers waiting for traffic lights. But who cares about them?
It took a little time, since the GPS went wild next to all those high rise buildings, I think. So I had to rely on the spoiler pic. Then it was a piece of cake. Nice neon sign, by the way, thanks for the information about tis landmark.

In Sydney for a few days for work. Grabbed this one before heading to dinner. Log book is full. TFTC 2qt2bstr818.
My first cache in Australia!!
This was very close to our hotel so after checking in and a short rest we went out for dinner and took thisone on the way. Not to hard finding even if my GPS was not realy syncronized yet...

Finally our trip to New Zealand is real! We started with half a day in Singapore and then we continued to New Zealand before finalizing the trip with 2 days in Sydney.
We have been able to see a lot, fantastic nature, many different and new birds and also a "few" geocaches.
Thanks a lot for the cache - Greetings from Sweden!

This was my first day into Sydney and I had already seen so much, just walking around the few blocks from Darlinghurst street to Hyde Park. It had been a long day, so as the sun was setting, I walked back to the hostel to get some rest for the night.
I came to this street corner and the Coca Cola sign was in full display. The lights were very vivid and gave off a warm glow across the intersection as I looked for the cache.
I checked one spot where I was sure it would be, but didn't see anything right away. I then moved on to slightly higher ground and perhaps read a little too into the hint and logs and began pawing around through the back side of the potted flowers, draping over tin flower pots. I walked away without finding the cache and then at the hostel, I took a look at the spoiler pic and went back out. I had been so close. It blends in well.
Thanks for the find.

#1932 Found after a short search in drizzling rain. The log sheet is very full and probably needs replacing. TFTC
So close, just lacking the confidence on my own to poke around. One day i'll be bolder with solo geocaching!
Nice find with seemyshell, log is full but managed to get my name on there. Thanks for the fun!
Felt very conspicuous here but was determined to find my first Sydney cache. Everything is in good shape TFTC
Visiting from New Zealand for the weekend and finding a few caches as I wander around. Found some space on the full log sheet. All good here, TFTC
Last day in Australia, time for one more cache in the neighborhood that's been our temporary home. SL, TFTC!
Sweet display and history.
We are coming to the end of our trip in OZ/NZ. Sad faces.
KL6 and I were in OZ for 4 days, then NZ for 16 days or so exploring the South Island mostly by campervan—with a few shoulder days in BnBs. Lastly, back in OZ for 2 days before heading back to the states.
While in OZ the first time, we stayed in Woolloomooloo near Flour and Stone cafe (amazing). We saw a play, “Much a do about nothing” (amazing). Checked out the Blue Mountains, went on a few hikes. And visited the royal botanical gardens.
While in NZ, We went to visit the Fjordland first—Milford Sound—and the back track and head all the up the Punakaki Pancake Rocks vía the west coast, stopping by Franz Joseph along the way. Went back down to the lakes, Tekapo, Pukaki, Mt Cook, and then Wanaka. Finally we returned back to Queenstown after our huge campervan adventure.
Lastly back to Australia for a couple nights before heading back home to the USA. Checking out Featherdale Wildlife park. Staying in Surry hills.
Obviously, we stopped by this cache along the way. We originally had about 171 caches on the list to be near and check out. Whether due to favorites, or a planned stop for the evening. We have planned the adventure using cachetur.no which is amazing by the way. Highly recommend the website and app when you’ve got a lot to see and find. Helps keep you on track and it’s awesome to have a schedule with time estimates of when you’ll arrive at the next destination and if you’re ahead or behind schedule.
Thanks to 2qt2bstr818 for the Cache! Found around 9:22 PM - I often sign as Wæki3 (shorthand for Wæki3_KL6 due to small logs and or KL6 not being with me for the cache find). This is Find #2246.
We have also contributed a lot of caches in the Flagstaff Arizona area, and currently to date we’ve hidden 85 caches. Even if you’re not in the area, I’m really into creating interesting and creative puzzles. I have some clever ones—many to do with logic, math, graphic design, or games. Checkout my certitudes page for a collection of many of the Unknown (Mystery) caches I’ve created (https://www.certitudes.org/feed?u=W%C3%A6ki3_KL6). Perhaps after a few solves, you’ll find yourself in the area.

This week, I visited Australia on a business trip. After work and on the weekend, I always went for sightseeing and a few caches. I really enjoyed my stay, because the city is really beautiful, the people were great and I was able to find quite a few caches. I also went to the blue mountains and the Manly beach - so I at least had a taste of most of the beauty that Sydney and it's surroundings has to offer. All in all, I found about 65 Caches over the week, that I have been here, met fellow geocachers, saw beautiful places and had a lot of fun!
Today, I went for a day trip to the blue mountains and experienced the vast beauty of this place. After taking the ferry back from the olympic stadium, I ran over here to attend my own cache event. I was still a little late, but everyone was in good spirits. Great meeting you guys and thanks for the nice chat afterwards at the pub close by.
After the event, I went home and found this cache on the way, since it's only about 200m from my hotel.

I still struggled to find it for a short while despite the pic, peak hour didn’t help good hide!! Sneaky.
Considering I'd just liberally imbibed in a large caffeinated beverage from 169 Darlinghurst, this took me far longer than it should have given the D/T rating. There's only so many photos you can 'take' of the Coke Sign before muggles start giving you wierd looks . Sneaky and elegant as per usual CO. TFTC
Thanks to the spoiler pic it was very easy. The black tube is very tight in there and a magnetic is not required to hold it, although it helps to find where it might be hidden
I did this a few weeks back but couldn’t find. The hint seems to have changed and I see the spoiler! It’s not what I was looking around last time so will give this another go soon
First I had problems to get a good GPS-reading - but the spoiler helped. A nice hide - TFTC!
My muggle friend and i stayed next to Kings Cross Station. So this cache was a must find.
The first days we didn't had time. After we came back from visiting my friends near Goulburn, i decided to search for it.
I saw the spoiler some days before so i knew where to look.
Easy one.
Thank you for the cache.

Easy find when over looking the road below. Retrieval and replacement required a changing of the lights to do so. TFTC.
First find in Sydney for me. Just a flying visit. On a plane outta here in the morning.
Found as one of the "topaz" clues for mystery at the museum, tftc! (And many thanks for the spoiler pic to make it a less conspicuous find/retrieval!)
It was a Friday night with loud people everywhere. So finding this here was nice relief but we still got called out by drunk people driving past in their cars
Visiting a friend who is having treatment in nearby St Vincents so we all went for a walk. Like moths to a flame we went to the brightest light nearby. We were in the dark for a while. Tricky. TFTC
A really nice hide I didn’t have much time on my hands so I cheated with the spoiler. TFTC! My 200th find!
I didn't have much time to hang around this afternoon, on a let lunch break from work, therefore not grateful for the hint otherwise I probably would've avoided this! TFTC.
Day 12 on our Australian vacation. From Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA. 2nd day in Sydney and spending it in the city. Doing the Hop on Hop Off Bus, walking on the Sydney Bridge, visiting the Sydney Opera House, Botanical Gardens and the Eye. Perfect weather to be out walking around town, managed 9 miles in all. But first, starting the day off with a cache 300’ from where we are staying. Cleaver spot. TFTC.
Lucky last for our Sydney, Katoomba, Bathurst, Sydney holiday. Awesome time here but happy to return to snake free NZ. I enjoyed the photo spoiler and history. Tftc
A quick and easy find. Last of the trip, now back to pick up our bags, and off the airport. Cheers
Back in Sydney now, time for one more day wandering and caching before we fly home tonight..
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Yessss! Found it The picture really helped finding it quickly, a good thing in such a crowdy area.
Thanks for this geocache!

Last cache of my Sydney trip for now at least. Maybe I'll come back again one day. Easy find! Thanks for the cache!
Grabbed this one under the cwater ver of darkness with a newbie GeoPal, Pinky. Stealth and an eye for detail essential for this Cache. TFTC!
In Sydney to attend the Governor General‘s Queens birthday parade. Got some caches as we enjoyed the sites of Vivid and the area. Follow the hint and you will find this cache. Watch out for the many muggles but early morning was the best time as there were limited. Great hide. TFTC
Last minute Geo with no pen, but found this using the spoiler as it was a bit filthy around ground zero. Tftc
Thanks for a quick grab even during the vivid festival. While waiting for a pizza why not grab a smilee too. Such a cool icon in Sydney and great photo opportunity. Cheers from Ballarat
Up in Sydney for the weekend and staying very near here. I needed a cache for the day and managed to grab this one while walking past with some muggle friends. Normally with this particular group of friends, I need to be quick as they have limited tolerance for my geocaching. Luckily this time we had a visitor with us who was interested in knowing what this geocaching caper is all about so they were prepared to wait and she was actually the one who found it. TFTC!
Heading over to Sydney for a few days on another business trip so had a look last night for a few caches to pick up while here. As I needed to be in this area to pick up a different cache I added this trad to my target list. Not been here before so was good to have a walk around somewhere new... and the sign is impressive (cache page made me laugh too... staff pulled out early eh! Struggled with the hide so had to resort to the spoiler pic. Turned out my GPS had me in the wrong spot completely After a short hunt looking for the host it was then just a matter of good timing with the traffic lights before I had the cache in hand All good here, TFTC
Conviced my muggle sister to walk this way into Sydney, and happened to pass this, so stopped for a quick look. Lol. Quick find. TFTC.
