I am archiving this cache after noting that no appropriate action has been taken to restore it, and I have not received any communication from the Cache Owner, Grumbligrot, regarding a request for more time.Circumstances that prevent timely maintenance can arise, and I've provided ample opportunity for the Cache Owner to get in touch. However, with no updates or restorative maintenance completed, I can only conclude that this cache has been abandoned. Therefore, it is being archived to clear the way for new cache placements by other interested players in this location. Caches archived for this reason are ineligible to be Unarchived.[Balayang -Geoff](https://www.geocaching.com/email/?guid=35e8567e-6d62-483c-9e3d-c8ec0ffd25bd)Volunteer Community Reviewer -Australia
### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process.I agree that it certainly seems necessary to have it checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute which is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information.. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Alternatively:* Archive the cache, and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by Grumbligrot and to take it off the playing board to prevent further geocaching community inconvenience.[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been by the CO.If nothing has happened, I will assume that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition, waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayangCommunity Reviewer -Australia
Today Im heading into George Town to get some documents signed and then to the local post office to get some stamps, but as usual, Im taking the long way round. Being such a beautiful sunny day, its perfect for a country drive to take in the scenery and of course, find a few caches along the way.I didnt find all the caches in this series but I did enjoy reading about these Notable Tasmanians. My first attempt at this, I didnt even stop as the farmer and son were parked in the opposite driveway with a couple of tractors then on my return trip I had time to stop for a moment and the farmer and son returned with their Ute and trailer so I decided Id better move along. Maybe another day I will revisit this series and have better luck and timing TFTC GrumbligrotKeep smiling
We tackled this little series of caches today.
It was a bit hit & miss for us with finds on the ones towards the end.
This cache was found easily.

#12691 - 10:44:00 AM; Jumped through all of the hoops and made it to Tasmania for a couple of weeks of R&R with family. Decided on a mission to George Town this morning to tackle the NT Trail, thinking it would be a straight forward run along a quiet country road. WRONG! Managed to locate just over half the caches in the series (5 of 9), including this one. Searched around and around before spotting this one and adding my name to the log. TFTC Grumbligrot
Finally we have made it to Tasmania from the mainland. Hoping to cache along the way over our 2 week holiday. Although a little grey it’s not cold so we will be able to see a few things and do some walks
So happy to be here and looking forward to what we will find.

Being an avid St Kilda fan I was very familiar with this famous Tasmanian.
We also have a friend with the same name but alas, he is not famous at all!
Mr Beetle spotted this one on approach.
Thanks.

Tassie Trip Day 211 - This was a great day to take on a the little trail whilst it was not too busy in the area the trail was soon completed and then it was off to the beach for a couple more and a great walk along the shore with the rest of the team staying in the Geo Vehicle and moving it to the other end of the area. I had an error in the head today that saw me use the wrong date all day it should be the 18 apr 19 but my pen wrote 17 apr 19 sorry but the electronic log is correct.
Another great spot for a park and grab like all along the trail a nice qick find.
Thanks Grumbligrot for this cache for us to find along this trail.

Our final day enjoying Tassie, starting in Georgetown. We have loved the variety of coastal and inland scenery and walking tracks. Good parking and found quickly. Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache Grumbligrot. Visiting the George Town / Low Head area with RLD4963 and the GeoGSP for a couple of days. Thanks for this little series! The GeoGSP and I walked between some of the caches in this series to stretch our legs, whilst RLD4963 moved the geomobile. Spotted this one fairly quickly and the log was soon signed and the cache returned to it's hiding place, cheers!
Out and about with Lil Rafa to get caches for the Hidden Creatures series, all the way to Low Head, we found, signed and replaced the cache, completing the find. TFTC TNLN log dry, cool nights but nice days. easy find with clues.
Travelling around the north picking up new caches since our last visit. This run has been fun on a glorious sunny morning. TFTC a fav point given
That was a super quick find can’t believe how fast we are flying through this trail! Tftc
#14430. Day 14 of our 3 week holiday in Tasmania. Robmc and I are still staying at Low Head so with dry weather forecast for a while we headed out on the bicycles to pick up a few caches around the area before going in to George Town for another caching run this afternoon (whilst our clothes were happy at the laundrette for an hour or so).
Well fancy that - an Italian really. Anyhow I remember his playing days. Another quick find and on we go.
Thanks Grumbligrot

Day fourteen of our holiday in Tassie. Bettyboo3747 and I are staying at Low Head.
Time to get the deadly treadlies out, and short ride to the lighthouse before breakfast (and five caches)
A ride south collecting caches along the foreshore, then after lunch, some caches around George Town while the washing was on.
As If noted, when is there going to be a Tasmanian AFL team?
Not that we mind you exporting your great players to the mainland!
A quick find of a container not seen on this trail.
Thanks, Robmc.

Another in the series, a brief stop and dash with the rain hammering down. Quick and easy find and back to the car for the signing.. thanks..!!
Our last day of caching around the area and we had a few caches we wanted to get before heading back to Hobart! This just happened to be on the way so we thought we would pay a visit. My mum loved Ian as she is a St Kilda supporter! This one wasn’t jammed but we found it! Still hating the in and out of the car!

So when is Tassie going to get an AFL team together and join the big league ??
Of course they would be called the Devils
Maybe one day !!
'Til then I guess your star players will have to migrate overseas to play
This cache was an easy mark,
and goal conversion [^]

Came out to go for a swim at Low head today and thought I’d do some caching. This trail is a nice and easy drive by one! Really enjoyed it TFTC
Hi there Grumbligrot.
We found your cache **"NT Trail 7 - Ian Stewart"** at 10:05:00 AM today. (This brings our total find count to 18629).
We are currently staying at East Beach Caravan Park with family, so our geocaching this week will be more of a hit-n-miss effort between relaxing, eating, drinking and socialising. Today was a fine opportunity to attempt the "Notable Tasmanian" series. A very little known fact about a not so notable Tasmanian is that Bill Stuart (Ian's dad) was Princess Mary's maths teacher.
We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey today & had an absolutely wonderful drive. Our count for the day was 10 finds (& 1 DNF's).
Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

A quick search at GZ and we soon had the cache signed and re-hidden and onto the next. Thanks Grumbligrot for providing this cache and the trail to a beautiful beach.
Spotted it, but tried to attack from the wrong direction at first and couldn’t get my big fingers in the gap. Easily removed when approaching from the correct way.

Back home after being in Tassie for a holiday, now the daunting task of logging all our finds, sorting through the scraps of paper with notes on them.
Had a few days of sunshine, a lot of days of rain, ended up with just over 105 finds all up on this trip, and visited many tourist spots in the north of Tassie.
found this cache after a quiet night in Lowhead
thanks to Grumbligrot for this cache series
sorry for duplicate logs

After the highs of Tangles (to the logger anyway) come the lows of Ian who? The Tardis duo are definitely not footy fans. One was on the verge of signing up to the AFL, that's the Anti Footbrawl League when bandied about by such luminaries as Tim Bowden. Parking was OK though, except we arrived just as the owner returned too. So we made much of being far wealther than we are & considering a property purchase as it was indeed for sale. Nice acreage!
TFTC another find in this series NT great to learn about all these famous Tasmanians . Out and about with Carlin&Sondra
Our prime target for this evening was to find the cache honouring Max Walker. After that goal was finally achieved, we continued down the road to look for the other three caches in the series that we had not found. Accurate coordinates, the hint and the wet container reflecting our torch light led to a quick find. Despite the rain, the cache and its contents were in good condition. Thanks Grumbligrot for this cache and the series honouring notable Tasmanians. There are just so many Tasmanian who have excelled on the national and international scene in a wide variety of fields that it is very hard to select without thinking "What about ....".
