Today I chose to explore these trails while entertaining my GC hobby. I quite enjoyed the terrain and was very surprised to claim unloved on many of the caches. I spent all day exploring returning to the Geo Van briefly in the afternoon to refresh and have a late lunch. This was one of the caches foundHad me circling for a while
Found it! Set off today in the general direction of areas I have yet to make a start on (Murray Bridge, Monarto, Mt Barker - all a sea of unfound caches on the map)! First of many in this park, found it in the first place I looked! TFTC!
No wonder I couldn't find it the first time. Had me going for a second. Great hide, otherwise it would have been an 'escapee' again. TFTC DHC. Well worth finding.
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location.
(HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do.
A rolling stone gathers no moss.
[:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort.
Devilish
Brilliant and Clever
I like it
Another one off the list

Searched for a while and approached from a few different directions but still pinpointed an area with no cache. Sorry to say a DNF for me today.
Headed out towards CP land today for a nice wander in a couple of parks [^]
This was one of the fun finds along the way
Cheers and TFTC DoubleHelixClan

A definite narrow escape as this one was almost a DNF. I was going around and around and around in circles until I trusted the gps and ended up standing on the cache. TFTC
Full time nomads since 2014. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.
Back in SA for harvest work. Spending 2 weeks in Murray Bridge, today we headed out to find a few caches.
Out with Sylken today. Nice and sunny today. Lovely walks.

A beautiful sunny day had us taking a pleasant walk around Kinchina Cons Pk with geobuddies FelixII and Karopi.
Many thanks for this nice group of caches DoubleHelixClan

Oops! Couldn’t locate this one today. Will have to have another go next time. Great place for an explore with lots of interesting old bits and pieces laying around the area.
Out for a walk with the dog to clean up this side of the road this week.
Turned out to be more of a walk than I expected and I think we covered over 10kms.
I guess the terrain rating depends on your approach. Through the bush makes it a little more than 1.5

I've been meaning to tackle the Kinchina series for some time now and today was the day. Really enjoyed the walk in a scenic area. Thanks for the cache and series DoubleHelixClan!
Thought we would take a quiet Sunday morning walk through the Kinchina Conservation Park, however had not expected it to coincide with a 75km/50km/25km trail run from Monarto into Murray Bridge. When we weren't making way for runners to pass we found a few caches including this one. TFTC.
Found on a day out caching with the family.
Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.

Out with thebakers and my wonky compass!! SL geokids found some bits to swap. TFTC
Hi there DoubleHelixClan.
We found your cache **"Narrow Escape"** today and this brings our total find count to 21955
We spent the day caching around Mypolonga, then the Kinchina Conservation area (trying to avoid an orienteering group). We ended up finding a variety of container types and sizes on our journey & found 18 caches (& DNF'd 0). Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our nomadic wandering around Australia.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

On such a lovely warm and sunny afternoon we needed a leg stretch and so we decided to some and search for the caches in the Kinchina Conservation Park. This one, our fifth in the park was soon located once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
A nice walk and a bit of history along the way.
Walking circles around GZ had me finding this one.

A few caches this afternoon with Jack.
Interesting part of the park we hadn't seen before.
Lost heritage maybe
Thank you DoubleHelixClan for putting out and maintaining the cache

A lovely winter's day with bright sunshine and about 15 degrees. I couldn't resist going for a walk to clear out this last section of the parks around here. I decided I would follow the loop in a clockwise direction.
Decision time. Follow this loop or head off to some other caches on the other trail perhaps. [?] Stick to the plan. I followed the trail up towards the old ruin before heading bush one again to find this well hidden cache. Damn. Those other caches are calling me.
**Thanks DoubleHelixClan for this cache. **

This one took longer than should have but persistence paid off. Thanks DoubleHelixClan
We were very happy to be able to spend the Adelaide Cup holiday caching in the Monarto area. We really enjoyed walking in the Kinchina Conservation Park and picking up a few caches along the way. A quick find at GZ. TFTC
found with bluewrentit. lucky for us it was only 24 degrees in the season of summer today, so we had no narrow escapes from any snakes, as none were sighted.
Upon arriving at GZ with this one I saw a few places it may actually be. It was in a spot I didn't anticipate. It was found by sir_spectre whom was about 8m away from me. Always better to have 2 sets of eyes when caching lol. My mindset for this one was off a bit lol. The day being cool was welcoming nearing the end of our 11+km walk/hike and the cool weather meant no wriggly sticks were sighted or worse... encountered. That would be a Narrow Escape lol

Out with Debandy hunting big game cache around the Monarto area. The weather was perfect, a slight breeze blowing at our faces. My GPS locked on to the unsuspecting cache and then there it was under some rocks. I squeezed the enter button and with an inaudible electronic wherr I added another notch to my caching belt.
Thanks for the cache!
Thanks for the cache!
Decided it was time for a walk to regain some fitness again and with the mild weather, this hill looked good for some exploration .
Obviously made the wrong approach (and didn't even find the easy way out) [B)].
TNLNSL.
Thanks DoubleHelixClan.

I found an interesting ruin up here.
The chimney is a classic design
And out back of the house,
past the thunderbox,
I found me a cache after scratching around

Despite the weather we decided a afternoon stroll around the park would be a good way to stretch the legs, continuing our loop of caches we came across some fantastic views and even saw the complex where a few of them could only dream of escape............TFTC DoubleHelixClan
The frogs were on a mission, so we gave them a head start a and went a slightly different way, but then spotted the red beanie ahead. Like these cache containers, I have some like this one too. Cache #2715.
We had a family BBQ to attend in Murray Bridge this evening so we spent the early part of the day turning a few boxes into smiles.
Firstly we apologise for the genetic logs. They do not detract from the quality of the caches that we found here, and the variety of cache containers that were used.
We were serenaded most of the time by bird song which contributed to our enjoyment of the walk on this coolish day. We found all the co-ords to be pretty spot on by our GPS bar one but in saying this the few meters that it is out is quite acceptable, it just had us looking a little harder. We found an old house and heard the people at the jail enjoying an activity which sounded like it may have been a game of football. The walk was not hard and we returned to the car without once needing to take a rest stop.
All the caches are in good condition with loads off swag.

Whooo Hooo Joint FTF with clare007 at 12.20pm This one took us a little while to spot!!! Not helped by Bindi the pooch running around the trees and constantly getting her lead tangled. Thanks DHC for the hide!!
