Area is undergoing flood prevention works. Will let this finish before replacing
I literally climbed up it and searched all around up and down combed over with partner for 20 minutes and couldn’t find I’m guessing Muggled with the other DNFS
We were in Chch for a week or so visiting spots of interest etc while seeing sons new house a and we took the bus out to this end of the 'spit' at new Brighton Unfortunately we ran out of time and i missed walking along the pier which was of interest to em as we have visited the Brighton pier in England. We walked to the near by bus stop by a property that had lots of different cacti in their fron garden but quickly went on to locate this one
i took a couple of photos of the beach and of Sumner over the water. which i will log .
thank you for this cache and i took nothing and left nothing.

Day 2 of my 2020 NZE (New Zealand Experience).
After the busyness of yesterday, with the flying etc, today was a complete chill-out day before the South Island trip really starts in earnest tomorrow. But there's always time to go for a bit of a walk and if I so happen to be walking right past a cache then of course I will naturally be drawn to have a quick search lol!
It was a lovely afternoon/evening so another walk around the neighbourhood was in order, in the hope of catching a great sunset. Just like the caches I found yesterday, these were all ones that I found without too much difficulty. After signing the log, everything was replaced exactly as found before carrying on with our walk.
Thanks for placing this cache.

Thanks for the hide, estuary looking great today. Loving the local area during the lockdown.
Corona zwingt uns in nahegelegenem Camp zu verweilen. Die Zeit nutzen wir zum spazieren und Geocachen. Schöner Ausblick und toller Walk!
Reminds me of Shoreshank redemention. Where red finds a cache under a tree. Under some sand stone that should not be there. Well this one has a rock that looks out of place as well.
Initially we searched around the wrong tree, but once we found the correct one, the cache was a quick easy find, for us a few metres north of the coordinates. Our coordinates were S43 32.269 E172 44.242. TFTC
Found with my friend Fran today who is new to geocaching. Gorgeous day for a walk. Thanks very much.
Found it a bit away from the coordinates. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Hamburg Germany
GeoFoxy has arrived to stay with me before her cruise so what better way to see our City but by caching - day 3 of her visit and we are in the Southshore/Brighton area caching today Yet another find for the series - thanks for placing.
Another lucky find since half the caches are missing. I recommend reading the logs before you head for this series. About half are gone.
I have just moved over to the South Island from Australia. Hoping to live and explore the country over the next few years and find a lot of caches on the way. Cheers for the hides.
Lovely day. Quick find. Cache log sheet dry. All good. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 2203
Out for an afternoon of caching by foot today and this was next on the list.
Had to wait out a couple of dog walkers at first, but once they had gone and I got my elevation right the cache was soon in hand and I was off to the next.

When cycling towards it I thought, because of apparent recent high tide/storm damage that this was likely to be a DNF. It wasn't. I was delighted.
Found by junior cacher on a bike ride. This is such a great track, thanks for placing a geocache along here!
Thanks for the cache!! What a fantastic way to keep our children busy on our walk.
It's a bit rainy and cold but hey ya take what ya can get. Cheers. Out with Nosynel

After a CITO event at the governor bay, I got plenty of hours before the dinner so I head to the Southshore to do a cache swipe. Started from the parking lot, all the way down to the tip along the shoreline, and double back to the parking along the east side of the land along the beach. I found 10+ caches on 1 trip. Very nice.
Easy find once I decided which tree is the tree. TFTC!
Dropped a geo-coin. Move on!

This afternoon we went to spend some time at the beach. the view was great, when we started getting cold, we went for a tour around, we found this park and cache.. Well, we turned every rock around for a while, using the hint, and just couldn't find anything. Looking at previous logs, the container looked big enough so we should have seen it. Maybe it's gone? After a walk in this beautiful park, we came again to give a second try at looking for the cache, and it was not a success at all. So this one will stay not find, until someone else finds it. However, the park nearby is really nice!
We are in ChCh to collect some points for the current souvenir hunt: Cache Carnival. Mum was certainly on a roll this morning. The cache was hiding under the second rock she looked behind. We were rather bemused by the odd swap in the container and wondered what it was. Maybe someone else will know. Thanks for placing the cache for everyone's enjoyment
A nice spot to explore- our muggle companion nabbed this one. Thanks for this series- it has been a lot of fun
Found a metal container in one place and cach in its spot with metal container lid in it. Looks a little like it was muggled and rescued
Quick find but stealth required: Bourbon and coke drinking muggles in car close by! We quietly logged admiring the view. When they chucked their cans out the window before driving off we cleaned up after them. TFTC
Caching & chat today with purdiepurdie, with coffee at the end.
There were muggles nearby with serious telephoto lenses - watching the yachting at the far side of the Estuary.
The cache placement fitted the hint precisely so was a quick find - generally I find such hides quite difficult, but not with this one. Thanks, TwoSharpe, for placing & maintaining this cache.

TFTC. Out for a caching interlude with KSI. We decided to head towards New Brighton and enjoy the sea air.
Hint and cache perfectly alined.
Thanks TwoSharpe for placing the cache for others to enjoy.

Had to find it in stealth mode cause a couple of muggles were parked up by the estuary
Headed out after the rains with cachelet #3 for a bike ride. We parked up on Bridge Street and headed down the track. Had a great time and ended up having a spot of lunch in Brighton before headed off to preschool. Took wrong approach with hint and was looking in the bushes. Then consulted GPSr and found the cache a short while later. Back down Esturay Road to our vehicle. Great wee adventure.
Thanks for the cache TwoSharpe.

Out this morning for some fresh air. Found this time as last time I was here there were workers very close by.
Also found silverbeet growing beside the path so our chickens will be happy too lol
Found with nissan 65. Flew in this yesterday from sydney for a short holiday. Hoping to see as much as i can on the south island and pick up caches along the way .Thanku for the cache
Lost of muggles around on this nice sunny day, thankfully scrambling around the rocks doesn't look too suspicious
A quick grab once I saw the pointer and where my GPS was going. Cheers, a nice view of hte hills where I was wandering earlier in the day. Big cave up there too! Cheers
Braved the odd shower with Miss pwh29 to get a cache today. Also dropped off a travel bug. Tftc.
