With suspicion that this cache is no longer here, we gave up early with intention to try again another day...
Sorry to say that this was a DNF. We found what we thought was the item to look down but we couldn't see anything!
No luck here for us today. Found something that could possibly be part of something but not sure. Have sent pic and msg to CO to confirm
No luck on this today. Couldn't find anything that matched the description what we did find didnt turn up anything either. Oh well.

In the area for a local Event, and early, so I thought I would grab a few caches in the area. Nice little hide, and a great view.
Cheers

Found this a few months ago. Today I saw it on Periscope and it needs maintenance. Log is a ratty bit of paper stuffed in the camo- not in the container where I found it. Owner needs to check.
#4357 (7 of 7 today)
It's been a while since I've needed to make a find to meet my goal of five finds per calendar day by the end of the year. And while I don't need a find today, this is one of the days where I currently *only* have five finds. So, in the spirit of grossly overdoing things, I thought I'd go for a swag-load of finds today.
Settled on the coast walk from Dee Why to Long Reef, which, with one other nearby cache, had seven traditionals ripe for the picking.
Unfortunately I only picked up six of them, plus the Earthcache nearby. But it was a really nice afternoon walk, despite the spots next to the lagoon where the track was totally submerged.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Final find of the day.
Well this was easy. Possibly a bit too obvious - spotted it from quite a distance away.
No muggles nearby so made the quick grab and then wrestled with the log to get it out.
That log is really being shredded by the cache - perhaps a rethink on how the log is held would be useful.
Found a spot and completed signing duties, then replaced.
Decided to take the bus back to *The Hademobile* and time for home.

Good one, but we found it quickly as we had seen similar camouflage before. Logbook should be replaced.
Needing a short walk and a caching fix, Mrs Big Dad and I decided on a quick search. A very neat hide - fortunately no muggles in the area. After finding and signing the log book (please replace this soon - it's very torn and hard to find space to sign) we headed up the hill to watch the parasailors and hang gliders going off the cliff. Very cool - Mrs Big Dad said I have to stick to caching, though! TFTC, Dominic 2912
Very creative cache! We found it but forgot our pen.....one of the best we've seen so far!
Not to many muggles about due to the conditions and the time. Initially saw one object that suited the hide and but was a little off the co ords and then spotted what we need to spot. Interesting bit of camo. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC
Previously logged under team account BoogieRogue. Re-logging with my individual account. Found at night coming from the mystery cache nearby. A quick find for us as we knew what to look for having seen this type of camo before. TFTC

Once again i found myself working in the area so at lunchtime I too myself off for a lunchtime wander, had a good idea I knew where this cache was by looking at the map, parked the geowork ute in the car park and headed to gz, once there saw something familiar. This is my 300th find TNLNSL TFTC
I needed two finds for my personal challenge today so I came to the Dee Why area on the way to Warriewood very early this morning.
I had already achieved my two finds at Go Nuts at Dee Why Water Park and Buzz Box but as there was still a little extra time and I can see my 2000th find fast approaching I detoured down Anzac Avenue and drove to the top carpark which isn't far from GZ. I took a chance that I would make a quick find and didn't bother to pay for parking.
I know this location as its somewhere we come to walk a few times each year so I quickly headed to the GZ area. There's some great views from up the top of this hill! I could see what I hoped was the cache camo as I walked towards the fence to see really nothing as it was raining a bit and visibility was hopeless.
The camo proved to be more successful as the cache was indeed concealed inside.
I signed the log and visited some TBs then returned to the geomobile. No parking ticket - thank goodness!
I headed off to Warriewood Wetlands to meet the walking group and arrived spot on time and the rain had passed.
3/3 finds this morning, an excellent start to what turned out to be a great day!

Nice quick find. Lovely walk. Thanks for bringing us back here. Have not been here in a while.
16/6/17. 12:58 PM. Cache #5114.
3rd of 4 caches - Bilgola Beach, Cromer, Collaroy (Long Reef) & Dee Why.
Came here after an easy park & grab at "Buzz Box". Followed the road uphill from the golf course car park and then when I had parked at the end and checked the satellite photo I thought - oh no, what if it's all the way down the bottom? A quick check of past logs confirmed I was in the right place however.
So I followed the path, but a muggle who had arrived at around the same time had chosen to admire the view from right near GZ. Off to my right, another muggle was also checking out the view, so I had to do the same, from in between, which must have seemed odd as there were lots of plants in front of me. Second muggle went, so I checked out the view from her side and think I saw a small shark swimming in the shallows covering the rock platform below.
First muggle also left so I finally had GZ's corner to myself. And then saw something that made me "Blink" - a familiar cache container, although it hadn't been put back properly and was just sitting on the ground. Some tricky work needed to get the log out, but finally had it and was able to sign it. I put it all back properly and then went back to the car. One more cache to go, "Go nuts at Dee Why water park". TFTC.

Two of the new Dominic2912 cache placements, at Long Reef & Dee Why, are not too far away from Geoson#2's school. So today, after the morning school drop-off, we took a slight deviation from our usual route back home to check them both out. This was the 1st of 2 finds for the morning.
First stop was this one at Long Reef. Parked the geomobile in the parking area closest to the cache (on the hill), then walked the short distance up the path toward GZ for a look.
As we approached GZ we spotted something that looked suspiciously "zargs like" and, on closer inspection, it was CIH. Yep, definitely zargs inspired, and the construction is just as good. Needed to resort to a TOTT to extract the log sheet, then signed and replaced as found.
Then, after admiring the nice water views, we headed off toward Dee Why for our next cache target. TFTC Dioninic2912.

After 'Go Nuts at Dee Why Water Park' I went to Longreef to look for this one. A number of muggles were admiring the views, but nobody at the end where I needed to be. The cache was soon located, but when retrieving it, I could not find any log book in it. Maybe it had dropped 'down under'. I put in a temporarily replacement log which I had signed.
This was one of 2 local caches just published today, after claiming FTF on the first one, I decided to go for this one as it was still unclaimed. I parked the car and headed off for the long walk, halfway there I worked out I've been here before and could've gone a quicker way!!! Idiot!!!! Lots of muggles on the track and why not, it was a beautiful day! Got to GZ and found it deserted. Great opportunity to investigate camo, awesome btw, find log, sign and replace. Log still had tape on it so my 2nd FTF not only for today but of all time! Memorable caching day. Cache #138 TFTC
