I regret that today I must archive The Shaving Machine Joke geocache. Yesterday a cacher found it and logged that he had met " a very angry land owner" at GZ. The cacher kindly emailed me with details of his experience. This morning I decided to remove the cache from GZ and look for a suitable new GZ. At 0730 hours I visited GZ and removed the cache. As I was driving away along the track I recommended that cachers use to access GZ and park safely, a truck approached me from the other way. I pulled over to let it pass. The truck driver stopped next to me. The driver (who I suspect was the very angry land owner referred to above) shouted at me that nobody was allowed to use the track and he would call the police if anyone else used it. I decided not to attempt a discussion about the definition of highway under Victoria's traffic laws. I told the angry truck driver that I had the cache in my car and I was going to make it disappear. No cachers need that aggravation. I searched the area along the roads leading to the intersection, but there is no other suitable place for The Shaving Machine Joke cache. Farewell dear cache. Thankyou to all the cachers who found it over the last 50 weeks, especially those who wrote nice things about it and gave it 14 Favorite points.
Got it and a very angry land owner came and spoke to me ... so not sure if this will last
This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 9548.
Heading back from Ballarat to the airport today and thought I’d grab a couple of caches as the traffic was better than expected. A nice quick and easy find.
Thanks Benjamin Screamer for the cache.

TFTC. We had stayed with overnight with family in Hillside. On the way home to Maryborough we stopped to investigate. Love the joke and love the cage container. Nicely set up.

This is one of the finds we made, while making our way around our Melton centred "Pocket Query". The caches placed by this CO ticked all the "Trad" boxes for us: Intriguing cache notes, such as this among a variety of cleverly camouflaged and clearly labelled containers. One of many FP's posted today.
Thanks Benjamin Screamer for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Maintenance check today. All OK. My thanks to all finders who have placed swag in the cache. The joke is still funny!
Finally snagged this on on the way home from work to keep our streak going.
Pretty sad it's taken this long seeing I drive this road 5 days a week.
Anyway, another well themed, good sized hide to be found here as usual.
Thanks Benjamin Screamer for putting these out for us all to find.

A bonus stop on the way back from Bacchus Marsh, as we'd enjoyed The Cowboy Joke so much. What can I say, but we're a pair of dads?
Not disappointed here either, with a quick find by torchlight and another impressive, fitting container. Thanks, Benjamin Screamer.
And just to illustrate the notoriety of the roads here, as we left towards home, we were beset by a driver with an obvious disregard for the speed limit. Some people never learn.

A few new caches have popped up out this way since I've moved out of the area so while I was back today for work I took the opportunity to look for one of them on the way home.
A nice quick stop along a busy road and a very different caching container at GZ to find. Thanks for the cache Benjamin Screamer.

Found once on the right track, don't need to go into the grounds of Sydnham West School SL TFTC took youwie left bracelet
I think this is a very good use for a TOP HAT, could never see any other purpose for such an item, and in my 55 years of shaving, never used this shaving machine, many other types of shaving instrument has had the effect of removing skin when NOT wanted, or making severe bleeding while getting ready to go to a function that required one to be clean shaven, once requiring two stitches to repair my skin, so now I am just once a week, or lomger if I can get away with having grey whiskers, Thanks Benjamin Screamer, I do enjoy your hides,
On our way to the airport we decided to stop and grab this cache, once we parked D spotted this from a fair distance. A couple of muggles drove past and slowed but went past. TFTC
This was virtually a drive by today.
I was able to pull up alongside and jump out.
Signed the log admired the serenity and moved on.

Today we were out and about with Neville_devil and Ausfox; our plan was to grab as many mystery cache as we could to help us with the Monthly Mystery challenge.
With no more solved mysteries left for us to find we turned our attention to other unfound caches in the area. with the day ending and darkness fallen we decided that we would start heading for home and decided that going home along the Melton highway to grab a series on the way.
with a small detour we also found the time to grab this guy as well
Thank you Benjamin Screamer for your contribution to our great game

The plan for today was to grab as many Puzzle caches as possible with Simsfamily and Neville Devil through Werribee, Williamstown, Sunshine and everywhere in between.
As we had exhausted the puzzles in the area we continued on with Trads.
On the homeward stretch now after caching for 12hrs, just one more.
Thankfully this was a quick park and grab then on our way.
Log signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache Benjamin Screamer

Needed a few caches to round out the months' finds, so I headed out along the Melton Highway.
A nice cool day for a few caches, although the road was busier than I thought it would be.
I had not heard that joke - not bad.
A very nice cache container too.
Unfortunately, the parking co-ords were taken up with some very large trucks today.
Thanks, Robmc.

Oh I did laugh at this one- the cache , not the joke! I remember the skull and crossbones painted on the road at this intersection. Loved everything about this, so giving it a favourite. TFTC
Suscoe was heading home the long way today.
A bit of steady heavy rain graced the world this afternoon.
A quick find between showers for us.
Glad to be all the wiser for this cache now.
A beanie is good enough for Mr. S.
Thanks Benjamin Screamer.

Read the joke and had a chuckle! The cache was then easily found but I have to hope that it lasts.
Up this way to finish off another series and noticed a green dot on my map in an area that I have been before
Parked on the opposite side to GZ and there was a fair bit of traffic along the road so I had to pick my time to cross
Came across a cache that I have not definitely not seen before in my travels
I'm not sure if I would have tried the shaving machine
Though
A great cache container
Thanks Benjamin Sreamer TFTC

An interesting (if very wet) geocache at this location. Not sure whether this will stand the test of time, but for the moment, all is well.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this geocache here today.

Out for a Saturday morning cache run with omegaman1971 and followed our gpsr to what ever cache was closest. Located this aptly named cache after a short search, thanks Benjamin Screamer for the cache and the gag!

Sunny but cold wind blowing this am - had no trouble finding this very different cache container that had been well planned and implemented. Expected to see "something shaved" and the results thereof - so glad that it was not like that!! We sure did like the joke and the cache container. A fav from us for the novel idea.
Good to be able to park the geomobile in front of GZ to hide us from the passing traffic who might be wondering what we are doing?
TFTC Benjamin Screamer - good notes as usual - much appreciated!

I popped down this way to pick up 3 caches this morning with featherdown.
I have now stopped at least three times for different caches at this once dangerous spot.
Liked the joke and bold cache

Road safety sure has come a long way in the last few years, both in terms of vehicles and traffic routing. And so has geocaching, evolving with more twists and turns...
I was out to try make a hat trick of finds this morning, starting at the top . I chose a great place to start, with a quick find of the bold cache at GZ.
Thanks for the well presented cache, Benjamin Screamer - I tip my hat off to you for this one .

In the area this morning collecting my quota, we stopped at this one as it was the next unfound. Little did I realise it had only recently been published! Great camo, a favourite from me Benjamin Screamer.
Great joke that made me laugh. Very daring hide here and it looks like it was a very close shave for that shaped face.

Found by Mary & David at 1234. Delighted to see a new cache published within easy range of maccamob HQ. Day 395 of our streak, so headed out after an early lunch. Parked on the track adjacent to the cache. Had a smile when we spotted the cache camo. Dropped off the "A flavour of Scotland" TB for a holiday. Our thanks to Benjamin Screamer.
