Sigh. Another one bites the dust.
Thanks Jacko83 for taking a 2nd look and photos.
Sounds like there has been some movement in the area.
Cache definitely gone and I cant get back to replace it at the moment.
Busy everywhere else

Not having much luck in Pt Lonsdale today. 1 from 4. had no idea about this one. Hint didn't help. Possibly that item no longer around? GPS again struggled though and wanted to take me to the middle of the road.
Found on an Easter Sunday trip to the beach.
We really enjoyed this one.
Very nice little spot for a cache.
Thanks for hiding it.

Found the “disturbed” log AND the cache. Started this exercise from the other side of the cemetery and read quite a few of the headstones. Lots of sad stories.

We thought this would be good cache to mark to mark our departure from QC/PL after the AD celebrations. As we pulled into the street we met Thetaz coming away so we said our farewells and went looking. Apart from an apparent re-orientation of the log it was a quick find at 10:00. Thanks sharkiefan
Down at the beach for a few day's holidays and had a free afternoon to head out caching.
I had to be a bit careful searching around at gz because there was a funeral going on not too far away. Thankfully I managed to make the quick find. Thanks for the cache sharkiefan.

Find #1594 for me. Found at 6:35 am on the final day of a rare beach holiday at Point Lonsdale with the family. Today was also a blank calendar date for me so I was determined to find a cache before heading back to Bendigo. After parking the car further up Williams Road I took a short walk through the cemetery and made a quick find at GZ. What a great morning to be out finding a cache! Quite cool yet very pleasant. Thanks for bringing me here today sharkiefan and thanks for the cache!
The geo family were on the way down to Pt. Lonsdale for a Junior Ranger program to learn about the rockpools. With a wet afternoon predicted, we left home early to have lunch before the afternoon activity but it ended up raining pretty much the whole time after we left home and wll into the afternoon. We pulled up here and had a quick look but couldn't find anything. Then another car pulled up next to us and kids jumped out. We tried to look normal but they were also searching for this one. The kids found it together but the others didn't want to sign, they sign digitally at home (I suppose they are right) not that it bothered us. We took a happy snap and left. Stamped and returned as found.

Awesome!! Love it when I find a cache!! Still learning. Took nothing-left nothing. Lovely little cemetery!
Thankyou for the hide!!
Thankyou for the hide!!
We picked this cache up at 2:05pm. Since we were at the event just down the road, and we both know the CO it seems rude not to visit this cache today. After a short hunt it was located and out names added to the log book.
nirgalagrin and I had come down from Melbourne to the area for a couple of events, and also to complete a few specific tasks. Not many caches were collected today, but all tasks were completed and it was a great visit.
Thanks for the cache sharkiefan.

A rare free weekend gave LouiseAnn and me the opportunity to join the Christmas festivities in Geelong, so we took it... and it was a great day out.
Yep, a peaceful spot, with quiet neighbours, including the one we were visiting. Thanks, sharkiefan.

There once was a cache that was very short lived close by , so short-lived that it in fact only had 1 finder....but thats what happens when you tell porky pies to the reviewer. So today it was great to see another placement close by as we meandered through this tranquil location.
Thanks sharkiefan for the respectful hide.

When we arrived, we thought we would be right on top of some mourners and would have to come back another time. Luckily the gps corrected itself as we exited the car. It’s always humbling to look at sights like this. TFTC sharkiefan
Visited this cemetery thanks to the Victoria Premiers wherigo and was happy to see a quick cache to grab too. TFTC

TFTC. We had come to this location to find another Premier for the Wherigo. Having located the grave we proceeded to GZ. A short search, cache in hand and we headed to Geelong for another former Premier.
Nice find while completing another step for the Vic Premiers Challenge Cache. Everything is in good condition. TFTC sharkiefan.
Out caching with geokids on what has turned out to be a lovely day. A quick find up a gorgeous path. Left a TB that has been in my possession far too long.

Charming little steps. With the log signed we wandered in to examine the nearby grave, which had an interesting feature. We learnt a little more history thanks to it.
With the weather forecast predicting a warm and sunny day, abl973 and I decided to head to the Bellarine Peninsula. It was an ideal time to visit with clear skies and wonderful sunshine.

Couldnt reach it with my wheelchair but had a walker friend with me who wandered off and soon had the cache in hand for me to sign the log. There was no trackable or swag so i placed a toy and a couple of my handmade keyrings in for the next person to find.
A seldom known access point to a historic area. A quick find and left a TB to continue its journey TFTC
Needed to visit the cemetery and noticed this was right here, bonus! Cache was a quick find, yes I do like this side entrance, thanks
Found during a road trip to Bellarine with becca85, neisha07 & GemmaSistema. Lots of fun! TFTC!
Our first find for the day here after multiple DNF. A nice little spot.
School Holidays = Road trip time with GemmaSistema and the geo-kids (AKA Team Clarmensma).
This time it was off to Bellarine. Day 3 saw the Muggle husbands/Dads join us and with a birthday for GemmaSistem, we let her dictate our direction. A few DNF's followed by a few finds in great locations. TFTC!

A quick find this morning with becca85 and our 4 geokids (neisha07, boo09, AdamSistema and LukeSistema) plus two muggle hubbies to form Team Clarmensma. Nice to get a find here after failing with the few attempted before this one! Thanks for the cache
Found with becca85, GemmaSistema, boo09, Ad & Luke on a super fun roadtrip to Bellarine. TFTC!
Just one more for the day before heading home. Arrived at GZ to make a quick find but a word of warning don't put press down on GZ.
There used to be a cache a short time ago here within sight of GZ but after being first to find at 10pm it was archived the following morning before sunrise.
Thanks for the cache sharkiefan

JOINT FTF SUSCOE &BUSHFIRE
As Bushfire mentioned the day continued with a short break between expeditions.
Once we realised this was still unfound the trip was organised and off we went.
Pt Lonsdale is a place we know well from our earlier days of Summer holidays.
All quiet around here as we found the hide.
Thanks to sharkiefan for this road less travelled moment, much appreciated.
And what a delightful area to be in once again.

[^] {FTF} JOINT FIND WITH SUSCOE [^] (~_~) 500th FTF [^]
After a trip to Anglesea this morning and a lovely FTF coffee and cake at one of the local coffee shops it was time to head for Geelong and a late breakfast.
Sometime later we discovered that this guy down in Point Lonsdale still had not been found, well we could change that so another call to our caching buddies and we were off in another direction on another FTF hunt. Where are all the normal hunters, I guess they must all be at work or out of the area on hols etc.
On arrival at an area that the ageing Bushfire has never been to before the cache was soon in our hands and with not a murmur out of the local inhabitants or for that matter the living ones on the other side of the road.
Thanks sharkiefan for showing me an area that I did not know existed.
