Took us a while as never found one in disguise before. Found the rocky waterfall. Fun find.
We arrived in Nerang a bit early this morning so we found a few caches to fill in the time. Favourite point for the cool container.TFTC
Found it with DeafPhantom DutchAus DeafVW DeafSanta Silence49 Codawivies Thank you
29/11/2023 Find #6732Wednesday Wandering Madness hasnt happened as frequently in the past few months, but today I managed to snare Crew153 for a day out with me. Luckily for me he also enjoys using his GSAK to decide where we should go. This was another clever hide. The cache was water affected so we cleaned and dried it out and replaced the inner. Thanks for the cache Nottinghamers, and for its ongoing maintenance Aussie Liahona.
Out for a Wednesday Wander with 1MinnieMoo to clear a few of our mutual unfound caches in the area. After the GPS sent us the wrong way and we corrected that we found a close parking spot and !MM had the cache in hand before I arrived for the search. We have replaced the cache container with a similar one which should keep the log drier.TFTC Aussie Liahona
Dropped Chikinlittle off to do some Kokoda training with one of her team mates as part of the school's training routine. It was a very chilly start to the day. (Chikinlittler and the other team mate were on a Scout hike), Whilst I was waiting for them and the other school teams to finish their 18 km walk, I ducked off to do some geocaches. This was my third find. I was a bit daunted at first but then decided to think logically and before I knew it, I somehow, surprisingly quickly had the cache in hand. Could have been a long hunt, thankfully not. It took me more time to get the log out of the container than finding it LOL. TFTC.
Find number 888. Had no idea where to start with this one. Thank gosh Ali was with me as she made the find after 10 or so minutes of searching. TFTC, found with Ali
Previous comments made me want to persist and after a short while found it! So satisfying
Looking at the previous logs I had a hunch it was still there, and it was! Ziploc bag replaced, but the inner container is rusted. Still works, still here, thank you!
External container has become an ants nest and they were NOT happy at being disturbed
Out for a quick pedal and hunt. A few hits, a few misses but always a fun few hours.
No trouble accessing this one on the bike. The plovers were not too happy though. GZ was just far enough away from them that they just squawked angrily at me.
A nice quick find of this little beaut. Another favourite point for you Nottinghammers. [^]

All ok. Hint don't take it to the car and open it on the front seat as you inherit an Ant farm. Log is a bit damp. TFTC
The metal tag was out in the open that’s why we found it quickly. Replaced everything as it suppose to be. Definitely a favourite point from us. TFTC
After the recent DNFs here I didn’t hold out a great deal of hope.... then the GPS had me at the top of the “waterfall” so after climbing it, I realised why it then wanted me back down the bottom... so after my impression of a mountain goat the actual cache was found after five or six movements... I was surprised I found it so quickly... a nicely camouflaged hide... there’s nothing commercial about this CO... tftc...
Replaced the snap lock bag...

TFTC- took longer than expected but eventually got there...best eclipse tin hide ever and fav point
Struggled with this one! I feel like it’s right in front of us, will have to return
What a great hide... best mint tin cache I've found (bar The revenge of the mint tins... that one is a doozy)
Out for a wander after a rain shower threatened to end the night early... I'd rather be caching than watching the box in the corner of the room. FP. Tftc

7th find with Giraffe 18. Fantastic cache container. Definitely a favourite point. Thanks for the cache.
Wouldn’t say this is much of a waterfall, filled with rubbish and real dead fish composing in the sun with flies, was hoping to see more of the local area but disappointed when on arrival, hopefully there’s other caches around with locals favourite spots
Happy to say that at long last the road repairs are now complete and we are back in business with this one. Happy caching!
I have repaired the cache container, HOWEVER there are major works going on at GZ so I will delay replacing until the works are complete.
Very pleased to find a Cache by the Nottinghamers that didn't involve quite a lot of fruitless searching on my part. Also pleased to complete my mystery at the museum challenge with this case. There's a little bit of damage to the Cache container on the bottom but the Cache itself is dry. Tftc
Early drive out on a Sunday morning to get a few of the newer or unclaimed caches in the area. We had been muggled out at GZ last year so returned for another crack. While I fiddled with GPS which was taking me too an unlikely patch of open grass, the geowife started a systematic search and came up with the goods. Cache has some wear and tear but still a FP from us. TFTC Nottinghamers
Out with reezielou for a quick couple of caches and this was a surprisingly quick find at an interesting spot. TFTC!
Krcamber made the find on this one, whilst my GPS led me astray. Nice camo. TFTC
Yaaay!! I'm off on my Brisbane trip. Sad to be leaving my lady and her kids. I shall have to cheer myself up with geocaching ...
I've done some pocket queries and some research on the results. I'm trying to meet lots of targets for Professor Rapidly Wild's UGC series at home, so I'm seeking :
Two caches placed in 2000 - One found so far
One cache placed in 2001 - none found so far
119 caches of size "Regular" - Thirty-five found so far
20 caches of size "Large" - Nine found so far
One letterbox in Qld - Two found, target met
One letterbox in NSW - none found so far
One cache placed on 18 June of any year - Two found counting this one, target met
Any puzzles and multicaches I can reasonably find. (Four puzzle caches, two multi cache)
I've located enough caches to find on this trip on this trip to complete all but the last target. So we'll see how I go.
Today I'm heading home. I'm torn, I'm pleased to be going home to my lady, but sad to be leaving my Mum behind, and my brother and his family. It's an easy driving day today, and a good caching day. I want to finish off some of my caching objectives today.
It doesn't rain, then it pours. I have been hunting a cache placed on the 18th of June for a challenge cache, and my last cache met that requirement. So does this one - so it's two in a row. This is a great hide as well/ It took me a while, I was looking for something else, but the GeoSchnauzers and I persevered.
Day 1, Monday - 12 in total, including five "Regular" sized caches.
Day 2, Tuesday - 16 in total, including one "Large" and eight "Regular" sized caches
Day 3, Wednesday - 21 in total, including thirteen "Regular" sized caches and one Qld letterbox
Day 4, Thursday - 4 in total, comprising four "Regular" sized caches and one Qld letterbox
Day 5, Friday - one, to keep my streak going.
Day 6, Saturday - one, to keep my streak going.
Day 7, Sunday - one, "Regular", to keep my streak going.
Day 8, Monday - one, to keep my streak going.
Day 9, Tuesday - one, to keep my streak going. Day 324, target 366.
Day 10, Wednesday - 8 in total today, six "Large" and two "Regular"
Day 11, Thursday - 16 in total today, two "Regular", three puzzle, two multi caches.
Day 12, Friday - 5 in total today, two "Large", one placed in 2000, two placed on 18th June.
Find no 5 of 5 today.
Thanks for this one. I think it deserves a favorite point.

Went and put my hand on it straight away. This is the second time I tried. All is good. Tftc
Wow! That took a lot longer than it should have! Gpander finally said those magical words! Found it! Love it. Awesome camo. Fav point from me

This was first on the list today on my way to meet other cachers to find caches near Purling Brook Falls.
TFTC Nottinghamers. Got here just before the water delivery pulled over so I had the place to myself. Always had difficulty finding your clever caches, glad this one didn't take long.
A favourite point for the good camouflage.

2nd time back for me(), trusty partner found a very tricky hide. Much excitement to be had. Loved it! Thanks so very much. Peanut n Turtle
Out for a drive on a sunny Saturday to pick up some unclaimed Aussie Liahona and Nottinghamers' caches. We stopped her on the way to two other caches but there was a car full of local lads sitting in it drinking parked right at GZ. We returned 30 minutes later and they were still there. Judging by the additional empty tinnies around the car they were settled in for a session so we didn't stop. We will return.
Super! I wasn’t sure where to park from the map so just pulled over about 200m away, but of course you can park virtually on top of the Gz. Still, a little more exercise won’t hurt. Magpies, ducks and other birds like this place. Pleasingly, I managed to find this one very swiftly. Great construction work! TFTC where all is fine.
I was expecting something serene and magical when I saw the cache name, but it makes a lot of sense when we arrived. It would actually be cool to see it running in the rain although maybe not the best thing for the cache.
My son grabbed the phone and raced off and I was trying to get on the board and followed closer than a dog with their nose up another dog's butt. It's a kind-hearted and fun competition between us unless he finds more caches than I do and then it sucks balls. I wasn't going to let him stumble over it accidentally and shadowed his every move.
While I was looking around for the most logical spot to search he is once again handing me the cache. That was a very cool camo and worthy of another FP but C'mon, how lucky can my son get? What I call luck, he calls skill. What I call rubbish, he calls magic. Maybe I should call lifeline. tftc

Thanks for the cache! Found in under 30 seconds which hasn’t happened since searching for Nottinghamer caches. Signed Canberra 945.
Find No: 6525. Visiting from Newcastle, staying with my brother in Nerang, good one, gets a fav, thanks for the cache Nottinghamers!!
We came upon your cache, Nottinghamers, while travelling between Canungra and Netang

18.11.2017 0005hrs Determined to end on a find today and was determined to do so regardless of the time, the rain, or the plovers with their babies. They sure do make a horrible threatening sound! Luckily the Geokids left their bicycle helmets in the car, I might look like a complete Queerdoh in my going-out clothes wearing a bike helmet walking around at midnight in the rain, but I wasn't going to leave without leaving my signature. At last, hey THAT didn't sound right, ooooh nice, I have never seen one of those like that before. I likey like like what you have done with this. TFTC
Found it together with Yaduk. The cache container is very nice. TFTC. Greetings from Hamburg
Found with Goldielover today while heading out for a hike. A Quick stop near by and soon had another very good cache in our hands. Well done.

Down this way visiting my mate who lives nearby, and found time to stop off to grab my daily cache
A quick find at ground zero, only because I had brought the Geowife along [^]
I walked straight past this one due to the great camo, but Geowife was straight onto it! This one gets a favourite point for the great camo container
The log was extracted and dutifully signed and dated. Then all replaced back as we'd found it in readiness for the next visiting Geocacher to come and find it for themselves [8d]
Thanks for the cache Nottinghamers

I searched all the wrong spots, but Ms Wig understood the clue and had this one quite quickly.
Nice cache!! Thanks Nottinghamers

After spending the night at my daughter's place, decided to find a few caches near her house today. We drive past this cache every time we visit, so this time we pulled up in the parking area and found GZ. Narrowed down the search area via the hint but still took a bit of time to find. Another clever hide and daughter was surprised at all the different things that can be used as caches. Logbook signed and cache returned to its hide.

A mate and I hit the driving range at Carrara tonight so after I left I figured a slight detour would finish off the night perfectly.
It was freezing cold down here at this hour and thankfully traffic was very little. With torch in hand I wandered around looking here and there, of course all in the wrong places. After a few minutes I spotted the sneaky devil. Now the hint makes sense, very clever Nottinghamers.
And to make it even better, there was a pathtag inside too. Thankyou to who ever left that behind and thanx again Nottinghamers.

I needed another cache for my pirate points as I wasn't sure if I had found enough of the correct types. I know I'll go by one of Nottinghamer's caches on my sort of way home. Thanks Nottinghamer I love your little signatured caches.
Just returned from my holiday and catching up on the logs from my fantastic trip. Without question, the best of this type of hide I have ever seen. Pity the rocks were not flowing today. Signed log and left path tag. Thanks
Today I traveled from Tasmania to the Gold Coast, via Melbourne. I had successfully found caches in Hobart and near Melbourne airport so wanted to find a Gold Coast cache to make it 3 caches from 3 states in one day. So I jumped in my car, and headed to Nerang. On arrival at GZ I realised that it was pretty dark and it was going to be rather difficult to find the cache (even with a torch). I searched around for a while, staying away from a huge spider lurking nearby. In the end, I had to PAF to get a hint, and I could make the find. This is a really well camoflagued and designed cache - it's great to see caches like this.
TFTC!

Really enjoy looking for a Nottinghamers hide as it is always exciting and knowing you are going to find something different each time because the CO has the knack of producing many varied types. Today was no different and once again I had never seen that camo before which is a favorite point from me. The waterfall was not running today but would be good to see when it does.
Thanks Nottinghamers for another neat hide and TFTC

Returning to the coast from Jimboomba way and we just had to stop for a Nottinghamers hide. As always a well constructed cache container but a little different habitat than many of your hides. A FP from me and looking forward to your next hide!
I saw this cache come out last night and that the ftf'er had a fairly easy find so I thought that I should chance my arm today.
Got to GZ. Looked at the hint and scratched my head.
Nice waterfall. I imagine the water will fairly rush down here when it rains.
My GPS took me downstream of the cages which looked unlikely.
I moved back to the more likely place to hide a cache and failed to spot anything.
Time to paf the only finder so far. Ugh, it was an "easy' find if there is such a thing for a Nottinghamers cache. I should have spotted that.
Another lovely piece of camoflague.

Another great Nottinghamers cache. GeoBob found it where I'd already looked. Good thing he came too, lol. A favourite point coming your way for a fun hide. Cheers! A FTF at 4:40pm (probably 10 minutes after I saw its publication). [^]
