Couldn’t find it don’t know if it wasn’t there or something but might give it another go another time
Myself and my mate had a look around and could not find it! May give it another go another day
As many others have said Mufffin and Mozzy can’t believe how perfect the space was for it… just monkeying around!
Cache needs maintenance. Has no lid. Put it back as best as possible to protect from rain.
Many thanks to those who gave their lives for us. Cache had everywhere, log signed tftc
In town visiting family and had a few minutes spare so locked on to my nearest cache. Quickly found, full of ants, and log book full and wet with no lid on the container. Have driven this main road many times and never noticed this park. TFTC bertoady
First time searcher and found it with my sister!! Took a little while - but when we found it we were proper impressed with how perfect the spot was for it
11681 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1540. Arrived in Rocky about 1.5 hours ago and booked into our digs. Time to find a couple of caches in the city area as we explore. SL Tnx bertoady
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 115. Rockhampton Day 1. I headed south and west to reach a few caches today. I had my most effective time around Gracemere. I then visited the southern suburbs of Rockhampton, with a fun walk around the Botanic Gardens. I had to venture over the river for the last for the day to reach the number I was hoping for.
It is good to see a few monuments around town. As I had a look around this one, I finished up on the memorial and saw a likely cache spot. It was neatly tucked away and I was able to sign one of the newer, dryer log sheets.
Thanks for the cache bertoady

Quick find. Cache needs maintenance. The log is dry at present, but has been wet and some signatures have faded because of that. TFTC bertoady.
Well lucky I didn't have to dig for this one. Being guarded today by a hot magpie, it let me sign the log. Tftc
Another good cache found with woolwood9.

Unfortunately Diane had to work today but it's a necessary evil if we want to keep the holiday going and she didn't want me under her feet so there was one way to solve that and that was to go out and find a few caches.
We followed the GPSr to gz on this one and made a nice quick find as there weren't a lot of hiding spots around. Unfortunately as soon as I grabbed the cache my hand almost instantly turned black with ants and they didn't seem to happy that I had just disturbed their nest. Back to the car to get the bushmans and sprayed on my hands and then went back and cleaned up the container a bit and when I pulled the log book out they attached again. As the container had no lid they must have thought it was a good place to make a nest. We sprayed the inside of the container with some bushmans. We are not sure how but the log book is wet but we managed to add our stamp to one of the sheets.
We hope that the bushmans does the trick so the next cacher doesn't have the same problem.
Thanks betoady for the cache and for showing us this memorial.
Lest we forget

Heading north on a pilgrimage to the Townsville Mega, stopping along the way to stretch the legs and find any interesting caches.
Even at this hour of night muggles abound, so I was glad you placed this far enough away from the main attraction that I could find it unnoticed
Find #12272 @ 20:26
Thanks bertoady for giving us a reason to visit.

Heading north for the Townsville Mega, taking 5 days and finding caches along the way. Thanks to the COs for placing these caches to show us more of your local area.
On our way up north, caching as we are going along the way. Thank you to the CO for placing them there . Found the cache with HansandLinda and joojoo57. Cache found and log signed. TFTC
TFTC. We had joined up with Richmond Lad and JooJoo57 to find some caches around Rockhampton. This is our overnight stop on the trip north to Townsville.
Had a sleepness night even with a boot full of red. With the adjacent door shutting with a slam at 4:45am I tossed and turned before admitting defeat and went in search of a few caches. This cache wasn't too far from where I was staying so it was first on the hit list.
Arriving at GZ took the time to read the story of the rats before searching the cache. I did start my search low then worked my way up before spotting the container. Thanks bertoady for highlighting this monument.

Went to the most obvious spot first. The rain Bird sprinkler system .. nope. Had another look and cheated a bit by checking the activity notes and ended up finding our first find !!!!!
My first cache since moving to Rocky! AND it was my quickest find yet! TFTC! I sign logs as Key or HayKey

Annual Christmas pilgramage for the family. Was destined for Dubbo but for the third time we've tried, COVID-19 has prevented border crossings or made them too unpredictable. But hey, there's always someone else in a worse predicament then our family holiday being shifted around.
Ended up driving the Australian Country Way from Toowoomba to Rocky, then down the coast back home again. Not a drop of rain until we ran into Ex TC Seth, who apparently didn't socialise well. Got stuck in Tiaro for the night, before making the made dash back to Gympie once the way was cleared. We didn't get many caches on the way, there was too many to justify stopping at every single one, but we did find ones at cool spots we were stopping at anyway
Nice easy find on a hot day
All the logs are in good condition unless specified otherwise, and they were all found with ease unless specified otherwise.
Cache logs are either stamped, signed with Rogersclan13 or just RC13 for space. Thanks for the cache and thank you for breaking the drive up **bertoady**
