We could not find a way in Sad Trail blindness [?] Thanks for the afternoon stroll anyway.

This cache looked quite accessible from a track I have used many times, but at the closest point the bush looked almost impenetrable, with multiple tea trees blown down. However, I did get past them and immediately spotted the letterbox and logged my find. Returning to the track was no better by an alternate route, and I had to get MrsFish to call out to help my direction. Thanks for placing this letterbox, which is now probably much harder to reach than when first installed.

On a trek early this morning from Lake Cathie to West Haven via the coast (20.41km), over from WA to see my folks and trying to clean up some caches within walking distance before we head home tomorrow!

Managed to get 12 finds and 3 DNFs over the course of the morning..... absolutely beautiful Spring day with a magnificent sunrise over the beach to start us off!

Love a letterbox in the bush! Bit of a bush bash to get here and some dead fall to clamber over but nice easy find at GZ!

Thank you for placing and maintaining Tree Mail Letterbox grey team for us and others to enjoy! Smile

What an awesome part of the world it is over here, cannot wait to come back again!

Great directions made an easy find. FP simply because Letterbox Caches are a rare thing and I just need a few more to complete a challenge. Many thanks grey team.

Yesterday I departed Brisbane on my way south to spend Christmas with some relatives in Vincentia, NSW. I had allowed myself a few days of relaxed travel, which gave me plenty of time to do some caching along the way. Having camped in my car in Coffs Harbour overnight, I was up at daybreak to continue the journey south, pausing for a stop at this cache.

As I was heading back from a nearby cache I spotted a muggle walking along the trail, so I knew the direction to head towards the cache. Even so I had to bush bash the last little way into GZ. Was glad I was wearing long pants. After signing the logbook I decided to return a slightly different way trying to find some thinner vegetation. TFTC

Found with BillHill531 and my boys on a geocaching camping weekend.
Day 2. We did a drive to Port Macquarie, stopping a a few select caches, before doing the adventure labs and returning to the campsite for the event.
Always after other cache types, we came to this cache. Had a little trouble finding a nice way in, but the terrain rating was accurate.
Thanks for the stamp and cache!

We're currently having a couple of days in Port Macquarie as we make our way to Brisbane for a family celebration on the long weekend, and today I took the opportunity to get out and do a couple of challenge caches (my caching priority on this visit) plus a few other randoms along the coast. That there was a couple of letterbox caches on my route was a bonus (particularly as one of my geo-goals at the moment is to up my finds of them) and I was able to make a pretty straightforward find on this one ... but unlike the other one up the road, I did find the "easy" way in from the track having taken the time to read right through the cache listing beforehand.

Thanks for making the effort to place a letterbox hybrid here for our enjoyment grey team.

Day 9 of our Oz Geomuster roadtrip from Queensland and today we are making our way home. The main aim of today is obtaining finds in the different counties of NSW that we have yet to fill...Port Macquarie-Hastings being one of them. Picking up the rarer types to accumulate points for Brother Colin's scavenger hunt challenge near home but also helps with the 2nd Well Rounded Geocacher Challenge Wink. TFTC grey team.

This was an adventure. Found the cache easy enough, but then got turned around looking for the track back to my car. With the tree cover, my phone GPS gave up, and I had to navigate by keeping the sound of the ocean on one side! TFTC

Day 2 of my trip to the OZGeoMuster and the first real day of being able to collect smilies. Today’s Trip is all about collecting challenges, letterboxes, interesting caches and hopefully making a small dent on all the solved Geo-Art puzzles.

I love a letterbox that’s a letterbox!

Thank you grey team for helping make my road trip the adventure it’s shaping up to be.

For some reason I started walking along the beach to this one but then had a better look at the map n read the instructions which always improves progress. Got back on track and set off on a nice walk. For once I managed to find the non bush bashin way in and soon found the cache. All tickety boo here. TFTC Smile

I went further along the track but it was still too dense for me. on the way back I found a "track" at about the 260 meter mark and tried this. It worked out OK and I found the little beauty.

We have travelled up from Sydney’s Northern Beaches to Port Macquarie for our annual summer holiday, camping in our Jayco Swan Outback camper trailer at the Breakwall (Sundowner) Holiday Park. Today we were off to Laurieton to visit the Sunday Markets and the North Brother Mountain Lookout, and collecting caches along the way. This was our 13th find of the day, and 126th find of the holiday.

With the geomobile still parked at the end of the beach access road, for the previous cache, we set off down the track towards this Letterbox cache. Had trouble finding an easy way into the scrub, but found an area of lighter scrub a bit beyond the closest point to the cache.

Made our way to GZ and spotted the cache as we approached. A funny sight out there amongst the paperbarks. Signed & stamped the logbook, picked up the TB (will take it with us back to Sydney), then replaced as found. And of course we then found the much easier way out, which took us directly to the return track. TFTC grey team.

You could be right about the world needing more letterboxes - our statistics for the Well Rounded Geocacher Challenge certainly does so we were pleased to find another in the grey team mail system. We didn't notice the end of the trail coming in but if you go to the right spot (like you always do when you return) Surprised it's quite easy to see. We kept walking till we saw a clear place to go off-track, up until that point off-track would have been a serious bushbash, and quickly found the cache. When we were returning a motorised windsurfer purr-r-r-red overhead. TFTC grey team.

Found 29 November 2017 at 8:16 am. Heading south a few hundred kilometres. Stayed in a Laurieton motel last nice after dragging the owner out of bed at 11pm, what a good chap he was, I feel bad for doing that but it couldn't be helped. Picked up this cache and then went to see the sibling before heading into Port Mac and then on our way. I came here in thongs... hhmmm not a good idea. SL TFTH.

Heading back home to the central coast after a gig last night at Crescent Head and I have had a fairly big day of geocaching for the trip back. I always stop for a Letterbox where possible and whaddya know here's two! Wow a pretty neat spot in here for a cache. I stamped yours in mine, mine in yours, dipped some TBs, and re-hid exactly as found. On the way out I was met by another geocaching team out in force, it turned out to be Tatt2squared. I showed them my stamp book which by now is up to 30 LBHs. TFTLBH, grey team.

Find #1599
We were on our way to Diamond Head to camp, we grabbed some caches between Laurieton and Bonny Hills. On a particularly windy day we found 15 without a DNF (for once) before racing the weather to camp to get our tent up.
The letterboxes up this way is primarily the reason for our route today, and this one was great. The kids loved the find, a bit similar to a Blue Mountains one we found a year ago. Well stocked too, we didn't take anything today though. Thanks grey team, +1 FP

Another beautiful day to be out and about looking for (and finding!) caches in the Port Macquarie region. A lovely area to explore, and for August we've had some phenomenal weather. Really enjoying everything about the place.
We headed off on the coastal trail listening to the sound of the surf and soon arrived somewhat close to GZ.
Then the GPSr got the wanders under the tree cover and we stumbled round searching trying to get closer until all of a sudden an oddity jumped out.
The letterbox is well camoed, but lucky for us it is a regular. A good size for the scrub!

Today we cached with Ian & Penny we headed south into grey team country. Most of the locations we visited had glorious views of the ocean, it helped to remind me of the wondeful area we live in.
Another letter box, hard to find a way into the bush but once at GZ the cache was quickly found
Thanks for placing this cache grey team

Hi there grey team.

We found your cache **"Tree Mail Letterbox"** at 10:43:00 AM today. (This makes our total find count 17439).

Today we cached around the 'burbs' of Lauriton and North Haven with Di Morgan. we had a most enjoyable day & found 16 caches in a variety of container types and sizes (& DNF'd 1). Thank you for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places to visit on our nomadic wander around Australia.

**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking. Wink
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.

Thanks for the hunt today,

Regards

Ian & Penny

Somehow we seemed to find a rather difficult way to walk in to make this find. We did manage it though and appreciated the very suitable container used to receive the mail here. All was in excellent condition and we soon added our name to the list of finders. We then wandered our way back to the track, finding a different way but no less difficult. There must be an easier way somewhere. Thanks to the grey team for another great letter box cache.

Found at 10:53 AM GAFF1 in the company of NurseHayley.
We weren't sure where the track to get to the cache was so after a couple of "up and downs" we just went in as real cachers do Razz
These paperbark groves are quite lovely to wander around as there is a good space between the trees and the light can still get through.
Thanks grey team.

I didn't have the coordinates for the entry point, so had a bit of bush 'bashing', but it was rather open. Found my way to the GZ, and soon had a well covered hide.
Found @ 1750, GAFF1. Unfortunately I had left my personal stamp in the car, but I there may have been a 'micro stamp' there.
