I tried this cache some time ago but could not extract the container. This time I am back with NZ_B - and still could not extract the container. Nothing in her kit helped. Hang on - there are a number of maxims to Geocaching, like "always bring a pen", and "assume nothing, test everything". Another of my favourites is "Nature always provides". So did nature provide? is there a convenient long stick that I can push the cache from the back? Nope. But there is a long cabbage tree leaf. Which did the job admirably. See? Nature always provides.
Called the CO - but the cache had already been archived. Cache removed at owner's request.

No luck today.
Wet and windy, maybe the wind has blown the cache deeper? I'll come back with better tools next time.

Replaced the container today, Please leave so the tip of the cable tie is poking out so people can grab it.
Be stealthy!
If this goes missing again, I will archive the cache to free up the location for others.

found with my father, but cant retrieve it as it is stuck. putting a cable tie on it would be a great help.
At least I could not reach it if it is where I believe it is.
Would come back to it another day in hopes this be updated

After much looking we did find this one, but the cash was pushed out of reach so we could not add our name to the log. Damn muggles!
There should be part of a cable tie sticking out, that people can use to extract it. Will check in a couple of weeks, when I'm back in the area.
I'm pretty sure I found this one but it appears to have been muggled and pushed out of reach. Have sent photo to CO to verify. Please remove if I am incorrect. TFTC
Lol! Not quite where we expected it! Clever. Wow! What a day! Streak day #88. TFTC Infoferret.
I was on a mission today - to complete the Kiwi. Following my very targeted caches in the morning TwigNZ and Justlooking00 decided they needed to get out and enjoy the sun to. We met up in Porirua and then decided to walk along the waters edge and come back via this wee hill. My view was definitely on the gentle green grass and path towards the next one. TFTC Infoferret.
Out and about with Itchyfeet2020 and TwigNZ on a sunny spring afternoon. A great wee spot for a rest and admire the view after all our wanderings in the area. Cache easily retrieved from its hiding place then off in search of the next one we went. TFTC.
Went here as the sun was going down, beautiful view at this time of day. Thanks!
Saturday morning drive down to Tawa and Porirua area to find some caches. Thanks Infoferret for the cache.
First find in this area, lovely sunny day n views, got me thinking n found it. TFTC
Having tried this one before with no luck on what was a very wet day, I decided to a fine but windy day would be it. And yes it was located.
Continuing my bike ride around the area, and made the short trip up the hill to check out the views. Nice quick find here, cheers
Popped over here this morning. Cache had gone 'walkies' so popped in a replacement
Pretty clever spot don’t know if this what we were supposed to find but we found what we thought was the cache.
What a great spot. Cache was a bit hard to get but we got it with some ingenuity on the day. Also found a pen in there.
I was in the area doing a bit of shpping. Got lucky here and found it in the first place I looked. TFTC.
took 2 tries to find, probably one of the easiest spots but don’t know why didn’t find the first time ps sorry for the smudge from the pen
Spotted on first pass but didn’t realise. Nabbed on second pass over the structure. TFTF
Thanks Infoferret for placing this cache
It was a surprisingly cold wind blowing here but a good spot to stop and eat my burger... sadly I've been eating a lot of takeaways while visiting my Dad in Hospital... hopefully he will be discharged soon and I'll start cooking healthier meals

Sneaky wee hide. I’ve found that I’m starting to get my ‘Cache Radar’ on to spy those places where a cache could be. I searched a few of these before finding the cache!
Gotcha! After trying a couple of months ago when in the area and messaging the CO about my difficulty, I finally managed to get back over here when all was quiet and things were much easier
Many thanks

#1334. Quick little caching expedition in Porirua with GB Leader & JustlookingOO. First, coffee at North City Plaza to refresh following our previous Titahi Bay walk, and then on to the Raiha walkway, and this one to finish. Bit tricky to access this one, but got there in the end.

Well.....I was able to grab the cable tie and touch the lid but I was unable to extract it.
At GZ we could see the cache container but needed a tool to retrieve. Lucky there were some items that allowed us to grab it. Thanks CO for the cache.
Found this afternoon on a short walk around Porirua before heading back to Wellington. Was considering employing a TOTT, but found could get it without. Tftc!
I got lucky and found this cache straight away as I walked up to GZ. Was pretty chilly so didn't hang around
No problems with muggles on this dreary day, not much of a view either! Nice hide. TFTC
TFTC! Log is almost full, will need to be archived/replaced after a couple more finds
“I think it’s there”
“no it isn’t “
“maybe that’s it”
“I don’t think so”
“let’s try to get it anyway”
“yes! That’s it!”
Nicely placed

I have seen people at this spot doing what I'm doing right now!! Haha! Now I know why
