Hi ADI, I meant to write a note. How are you going with the Lost Treasure of Mary Hyde geobusiness. I'm not sure how to get the pieces of the treasure Map. Have you got any pieces yet?

I wanted to go to the geocache meeting on holiday. I was already looking forward to it. In the morning I went to the cafe and met many geocachers. I could entertain myself with some.

I had a fantastic time, AlphaDeltaIndigo. Loved the venue - I mean how appropriate for a pirate themed cache possibly leading to team-forming for the Buried Treasure of Mary Hyde caper... to be held at her husband's Potts Point cafe: Cafe Joseph Hyde!!! A jest, much appreciated.

I met a few new people, got to know better some cachers I had only previously briefly encountered, and of course whooped it up with some old friends.

After the Event a few of us of course went hunting. And I've brought home a few excellent scalps! I used my small pirate knife to take these... the one with the pearl handle that fitted nicely down my cleavage. I still have it. We pirates are a thieving bunch of miscreants, but it's not good form to steal from your mates aaaarghghghghgh wink wink. So Adi, do you want it back? The mini cutlass, I mean? I could clean the blood off.... Anyhoo... another successful and fun Event. Thank you!!!!!

Just 1 cache today, in Potts Point. Happy Mary Hyde day!!!

I arrrrrived earrrrrly an' waited at a bench near where I'd docked me ship and soon met a couple of swashbucklers roamin' up the lane. We waited fer a bit an then headed to the Salty Sea Dog fer a pint. No that's a lie, we went to th' Joseph Hyde fer a brew an' some vittles. An' that's where we met up wi' ADI an' lots o' other seafarin' types, ready fer action.

Lots of booty was examined an' talk of past treasure hunts were enjoy'd. All too soon, it was time to leave some silvers fer Hyde's crew an' return to me ship, 'ere the hour be past. Thanks to ADI fer the fun times and to all the other pirate crew too.

Amazing event ADI - as always !!!

So much fun, great poke bowl and coffee for breakfast and lots of caching chat.

Great to catch up with familiar faces and also met some wonderful new cachers who I hope we see again.

Afterwards we tagged along to some fun caches (we'd found them already) but were on hand with hints.

Loved the pirate costumes and had a wonderful morning

15/7/17 A very quick pirate chat this morning for me, as I had a prior commitment to attend and could not hang around. Thanks to AlphaDeltaIndigo for meeting me a little earlier to allow me to make her event. It was a shame I could not hang around and catch up with the others this time around... but glad I was able to get my name on the log and collect the special 'Mary Hyde: Ahoy Me Hearties!' digital souvenir. Thanks For The Event Cache AlphaDeltaIndigo.

Arrrrrr, early in ye morning we sailed across the fine harbour to anchorrr at Potts Point in search fer a fine establishment to meet other seamen.
After talking and drinking with me mateys, we set course for a treasury hunt in the olde village.

Thank you so much to AlphaDeltaIndigo for hosting this fun, pirate-themed event. My family and I are visiting Australia from the US for my son's robotics competition at Macquarie University which also began this morning at 8:30 so I was only able to stay for a short time. I met a few really nice people during that time, plus I got a smiley and a souvenir. What a way to start the day! Also, congrats to AussiePam on her milestone. Thank you!!

First of three events today on my last full day in Australia, visiting from Northern California, USA. Came by a few minutes early for a Chai and sat/stood and saw one woman with a pirate hat run by but didn't end up identifying who the actual pirates were. Take a photo as proof of my being there before dashing off to the train to make the second event. Sorry to have missed out on the 'chat' component but did get that at the other events. Best to all. Popped in as part of Teem Keen's representation at the beginning of the journey (for the month and the day). Great spot for an event, even without the appropriate name, and it was great to meet some very colourful cachers from near and far. A great start to our caching day, thanks for your well-organised cache ADI!
