**21,031**Well, if it was a secret then now its not... thanks to the GPS the secret garden was found and then the search for the cache commenced. a short search later and the smilie was gained. Thanks for all the placements found this weekend!
Sixth find for the evening, there were a couple of suspicious objects at GZ here, but thankfully the correctly suspicious was not too elusive. TFTC!
Met up with TheLandGirl today to have a walk around and explore of Centennial Park and the surrounds of Pupuke Golf Course, finding a few caches along the way. Found after a short search of the area. TFTC!
Found with Vistra. Logbook is full, but we found a tiny corner where we placed our initials: VTLG.
Thankful at times for my green jumper today as I seemed to be following a group of golfers around the course! Tftc
Another cool hide that made me check twice .
Log is full, but I managed to find a space to sign. Didn't have a spare log with me, though.
Thanks for hiding and maintaining. Tftc

Arrived back in Auckland early this morning from our travels went home for a bit of a rest and decided we has better stretch our legs this afternoon so back out caching again. Parked up nearby and made our way over to the GZ. Found the cache just as the hint had suggested it was hidden. A nice place for a cache. No wonder you like to come and sip your coffee here.
GPS acted up a little, but looking around, there was a key area as to where it could be, and yep, there it was. Nice and easy cache to find while out and about. TFTC.
A nice quick find. I had to wait till the golfers teed off! Thanks for placing your cache.
I'm in Auckland and I am exploring the region while I am based here. Today was a good day, I cruised around and about the North Shore, there is so much to see here! The weather was pretty good, and I had a great time.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Wasnt quite what I was expecting but after a short search cache was soon found. TFTC
A wee bit off the coords but was another fun find for the kids - this one rocked!
We wandered about in the bushes for a bit. It was tricky at first, then quite straight forward…
Realized I was only a few points away from this months challenge and saw this looked like a park and grab, fortunately it pretty much was and I can now say I’ve finished the challenge, yay!
Thanks for placement. Cache is in a good state. Very rocky.

Took the long way around to get this one, whilst Daddypig123 and the geohound kept watch. Just in time before it poured down.
Had 2 goes at finding this cos golfers were always around. Just when i thought the coast was clear i found it but then golfers appeared from i dont know where. So just snatched a pic of the cache if the CO needs evidence i found it. Coords were bang on for me. TFTC
Along a bit from the last and parked alongside after turning car to face 'home'. Reading previous logs I expected a long search but I'd hardly call 1 metre away at GZ to be poor coordinates. Had the cache in hand nice and quickly, it was always likely to be there anyway. Cheers G for a few more finds of fun, appreciated.
Headed up this road which I don't normally travel and noted the (temporary) glut of available finds. Would be rude not to stop and stretch the legs whilst passing, so that's what I did. Managed four on a nice loop walk and another couple afterwards after moving the car a couple of times, thanks all COs for your caches.

Went totally the wrong eat and found some lovely blue rocks. Surely this is it,? But no we weren't even close. Read the previous logs and looked somewhere else and yuss! There it was. TFTC
Coordinates are quite a bit off and judging by previous comments I knew that this wasnt gonna be where it would be so as i started walking my way around i spotted a place to enter and found it pretty soon after that. TFTC (I didnt sign log because of covid but I took a photo of the log)
Forgot my golf clubs tonight, it says it's straight Par 4, probably ok even at night time . Instead I found the cache in the wood, TFTC
Our last find of the day and it took a bit longer than it needed to due to us making an assumption as to the location of the rock garden.
But after a thorough and fruitless search of the wrong rock garden we stopped using our phones and tried the more accurate Garmin which led us straight to the correct garden, after which a quick find was made.
Quite a few golfers out today. TFTC.

I thought it was just a matter of which one but in the end I had to widen my search. Wasn’t stumped in the end. Tftc

Nice find with woolwood9 today.
*We enjoyed the drive / walk around the area.*
Stamped logs as tm/ww NZ which may just look like a black smudge on plastic logs!

Tried this one a few weeks ago in pouring rain, no success. Second time lucky.tftc!
Gosh it makes such a difference to actually find GZ. Thanks Glynn for an extra clue. very quick find today. Realised whilst signing there was a group on the tee. I don't think they spied me. SL TFTC.
For my personal challenge of working towards getting my calendar on GC.COM to be at least the same shade of green or darker I need to sign off at least 12 caches today. I won't grumble if I find one or two more. I thought I would continue on from where I left off yesterday in Sunnynook and then move onto Mairangi Bay.
Not many golf balls coming my way here, luckily.
Cheers for the cache.

Oh dear no luck here this morning, thought I would pop along and make a quick find before returning to work from an appointment. Turned everything over that looked likely.
Found by caching and dashing. There was an elderly lady walking by who kept turning round watching us but we didnt give her the satisfaction of seeing us go for the cache. A slightly different home for the log but nevertheless it was soon signed and returned as found. TB visit TFTC
Out in the area with NZIceman as he was taking a driving assessment. After dropping him off cragger, laval and I filled in the time picking up some local caches.
Snuck in for a quick find. It was only as we exited did we realise how close we were to the golfers! Lucky we had been really quiet.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache G-2.

Working on the Shore today so came over to visit this Secret Garden. Liked the hint and the decoys. Being in this spot brought back memories of a previous cache here, and the fantastic "Lord of the Rings" puzzle cache that was in this park.
Thanks for bringing me back.
Thanks for bringing me back.
Quickly found on a very hot afternoon. Pleased to have shade when looking. TFTC
After a couple of DNF's today it was nice to make short work of this well disguised cache in a very relaxing location! TFTC
Just purchased a new GPS, so popped out to some nearby caches to test it out. WIll take a while to get used to it. Went around and around looking at various spots before finally discovering the secret. Thanks Glyn
Was in the area this morning so stopped here for a bit of gardening before heading off to work. Nice quick find. TFTC
Popped out for an hour or so of caching fun this morning, before work this afternoon. I parked up near GZ on the side of the road and made the walk over to GZ. The ground was rather water logged, so I was pleased with my choice to wear gumboots. Once at GZ the find was swift as I spotted the hide almost immediately. Cheers for the cache placement!
I was a bit confused by the secret garden, till I spotted it and knew it had to be.

We wandered past a golfer teeing off then up to the secret garden and made a nice quick find
Lots of secret gardens in this area, but finally found the right one and the cache.
Thought I would try and do a few new shore caches before the rain came and this wasn't too far from the road. Had my new geocaching TOTT (gumboots) which was great as it was a little bit squishy underfoot. No problems in locating the cache, thanks
Last cache for the evening and 25 gold coins for the Lost Treasure of Mary Hyde! The other 5 will have to be found tomorrow. Nice hide. Thanks G-2.
Was pleased to get another cache out this way on my sorti to the Shore today !
Very quick ...although the camo is pretty natural - looking !
Many thanks Glyn.....Time to head home now for Grandma babysitting Duties !

Over on the shore with Gorby in the rain for a little [FTF] run so it would be rude not to defile the secret garden as well. Gorby thought he had the cache in hand when he found a hairspray can wedged in a tree, but I rocked my way to the find a metre or 2 away. FTF #2104 TFTC!!!
Came here with FMZ in his race car. He can take those corners in the wet much quicker than I would dare in my station wagon!! So naturally a quick ride from the last cache. Out come the brollies and in we go in the dark, errrh... everything is wet, oh well. I soon found what might well have been a typical Glyn hide, a hairspray can, gave it a thorough going over before realising it wasn't the hide. Even FMZ thought it was quite possible, but then shortly FMZ did find the actual hide in it's garden of sorts. That's good, now back to the warm car, it's getting cold now. Another {FTF} for us tonight. Thanks Glyn.
