What a gorgeous station!
Plenty of parking here, and only one car - my geomobile!
While I was exploring the station and searching for the cache 2 trains came along southwards.
I needed a TOTT to help get the cache.
After that I decided to sit on the platform opposite and enjoy the autumn sun while I ate my lunch. Good timing meant a train came along heading northwards.
Love this spot so am awarding a favourite point.

Beautiful spot to stretch the legs and admire the gorgeous surrounds. TFTC!
Greetings from the UK. Slight challenge here as I’m not that far off the ground but got it in the end. Tricky to look inconspicuous signing the log as someone came to tend to the plants etc on the station platform!! TFTC

Away for a few days with K8TYBEE and GLISS! to celebrate K8TYBEE's birthday. So cold out here today, but we got the cache and a bonus train! Thanks for the cache.
Brrrrr! Found with Nibletricecakes and K8tybee on birthday break away for a few days. A train came by just after we found it! TFTC.
Just as we wandered out onto the station we could here some ominous signs in the distance. They got louder and louder and then a goods train aappeared further up round the bend and then thundered past. It was moving! A great bonus!
After watching it pass we duly found the cache.
With an extra day up our sleeve at Moss Vale we decided to head out to Fitzroy Falls to do some sightseeing. What a good decision that was as it is a most picturesque area and one we had never heard of before. We spent some time at the Morton National Park and enjoyed some shorter walks and a picnic lunch.
Of course we cached our way there and back as well.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache halcyon123.

After dropping BTM off at work, I decided to spend the afternoon cleaning up caches
This was good one! Initially I had trouble locating the cache as the hint didn't really make sense until I found what I was looking for. Definitely blends in very well!
So with CIH, I sat on a nearby bench to retrieve the log.
Sasafrasa….bloody thing....hrmph…….open sesame.....*^*&%&&%&%...…..oh for the love of.....BIngo! Cache FINALLY opened (I hate these bloody things!!!)
Log signed and cache retuned. TFTC

After dropping Geoson #2 at the station so he could get to work, I headed south so I could:
* finish off *Mystery at the Museum* - gotta get that vault open
* click over another hundred finds - mini milestone time
* up my calendar finds for 30 June - 10 just isn't enough!
Went for fifteen caches and found them all. And there were some quality ones in there too.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Parked on the wrong side, so had to cross the line. After the train had gone through. What are the chances?
Went past the waiting room - noted the opening times. Hmmm.
At GZ I made an easy find, but the cache really blends in well.
Completed signing duties on a full log - new one needed here.
Replaced, then back over the lines to the car. Then drove back to where I'd just been on my way to my next target.

A day trip away to collect a few caches, I was picked up this morning by Tankengine and then off to collect dty73. With the new challenge we needed to find some caches and as Tankengine had all but cleaned out Canberra and the near by regions it was off else where to find them! Dty73 had completely the challenge but came along to keep us company and enjoy some caching too. Up towards Mittagong was the plan with a few along the way, TE had a PQ of caches we all had yet to find, with a few bonus ones that looked interesting as we passed or needed along the way.
Some lovely areas and off course a lot of fun along the way but the arctic wind that blew painfully through was enough to make me moan and winge at times! If beanies are a fashion statement anywhere I was rocking it well today! The gloves I needed but they made rolling the little bison logs almost impossible so off they came and the mild frostbite will recover! (winge, moan etc etc!)
Luckily though most caches were close to the car or didn't take so long to find, a few DNF's but only a couple and the car was SOOO warm and cosy! We stopped and had a welcomed warm lunch, found all the caches we needed for the challenge and of course had a great day too! Many thanks for your cache that helped with our days caching and thanks to dty73 and Tankengine for the good company and enjoyable day!

So – new souvenirs are available to be found! But they require me to find specific caches! I had found all the clues required, so I was after the gemstones! But, due to lack of caches in the ACT, a plan was hatched. Dty73, Aquilus1 and I decided on a roadtrip to the Mittagong area! After an early (well, not too early) start, we were on the road, and targeted caches were slowly knocked off!
The weather was ICY COLD, and the wind awful! But the caching and the company was fun! The drive home in the dark and rain was also not so nice (I thought it was about to snow), but at least we were nice and warm in the car!
Thanks for the Topaz HalCyon and thanks for the company dty73 and aquilus1! We had a great day out!

I joined Tankengine and Aquillus1 on a day of running around the countryside tyring to find clues and gems for the latest Mystery at the Museum subgame. I was lucky to have already completed this challenge and so I was just able to collect more smilies with great company.
Tankengine came early with Aquilus1 to pick me up and off we went. We had a smooth drive up and around all over the place with only the freezing cold wind to annoy us. But I was lucky being able to ride shotgun with the warm heated leather seat of Tankengine's loan car. Thanks for driving us around Tankengine it was very much appreciated.
Tankengine couldn't pass this one ; ) We parked just outside the gate eventhough the road in did look enticing with this weather, but luckily the weather had calmed down a little. It was a quick find and sign and I really like this little station, very cute. On the way back to the car Tankengine even found a $2 coin. Tftc halcyon123!!!

Staying in the area this weekend and taking in the sights today. What a gorgeous little train station! Luckily there was not a single muggle around today, think the chill kept them away. Bonus for us. Quick find TFTCSL

Love this area. Found pretty quickly just in time for freight train to come past. Thanks for bringing us here TFTC
A good excuse for a tour of the station
And while touring the station,
no trains passed through,
and I found a cache
Further down the road,
I passed a bus that proclaimed it was a train !!
I guess they replace passenger trains with buses at weekends ??

After a busy December / January, we decided a trip to the highlands was in order. So after an early start, with Rapidlywild doing the driving honours we headed up the highway. A bit of rain made it quite pleasant, and the sun brought a bit of humidity, but it was a great day. We grabbed a couple of the trails, and was surprised on containers, some took a bit longer to locate than others. Thanks RW for a great day, and thanks to all the CO for the placements, we enjoyed collecting them.
Thanks halcyon123

First big caching trip out with both the FFLL ladies for 2019 and it was an awesome day we made plans to head up into the Southern Highlands to attack some caches up there. Some I had already been too, others were new. All up a 15 odd hour day with the ladies, and a fun filled tiki tour.
Thanks for the cache hide halcyon123 and thanks FFLL ladies for another fun filled adventure.

Headed out today with Geoson #1 and #2 on a “Thursday Geothon” in the beautiful Southern Highlands where there are some great Geocache trails. Aim was to build some “Find” numbers whilst exploring this fantastic area. To all the cache owners, thanks for the effort you put in to place these trails for other people’s enjoyment. It’s is much appreciated. KUTGW.
Trust me to pick a time when a group had booked a train stop at the station, assuming that passenger trains would not otherwise stop here. Those two books were still on the bench. Tried to look casual but individuals wandered up & down the platform so moved on. Had just picked up 24 geocaches at Wingello & had a separate FTF so the reason for my trip met. Another time. Thanks.
Stopped in for a coffee at the nearby cafe - afterwards the geowife headed for the antique store and I headed for this cache. Nice easy find and in good condition. I enjoyed the irony of the book that someone had left on a seat on the platform (see picture).

Cache 4401 on 31 Dec 2018
My sore foot was beginning to bug me - it has put pay to all sorts of caching expeditions I was planning over the Christmas break. But at least I can catch up with an old school friend and now caching buddy HappyUke! And what better to ask for than a few easy caches around Moss Vale with HU and Finalf29 before the series of events planned for New Years Eve - my old stomping ground was Bowral really, but Moss Vale is close enough.
I solved a few puzzles prior to my drive up from Canberra this morning - I am really out of practice - but now I can balance up the trads with some puzzle finds and of course the events. Thanks HU for saving the power trails to do with me - and for the great company.
Unless otherwise noted, caches found in good condition and in accordance with any hints.
This cache: a bit tricky to get cache open...!
Thanks halcyon123 for the cache and the fun!

An early start from Port Macquarie on our way to Melbourne. Stopping at Berrima for a couple of days down by the river side. After a rest we did a tour to the south of town. We passed some fantastic countryside, many large & prosperous properties. Really enjoyed our drive in the area. Hubby said the area reminded him of NZ
Found numerous micros & an assortment of others sizes in some great locations.Appreciated the good co-ords.

A lovely old train station, an easy find today, basically nobody around at all. Then we went to the local markets for a look and grabbed some lunch.
TFTC,
Came down here for a weekend to build numbers. My aim is to finish the year with 4/day as one of my personal challenges this year. The others were to finish both the Jasmere and Ausmere Challenges.
Never thought I would learn what tic tac was about, but after finishing what we did, I am now an expert.
Afternoon tea stop, avoided the Village Fair.
Visited trackables.

What a wonderful day I had thanks to Darkside Dan. Another 100+ day mostly in the Moss Vale area as I continue on my quest to make Parkville Event my 6000 milestone. Less than 90 to go now.
All caches attempted were found and now carry our names though most were signed as DSD and SG.
Thanks to all the COs involved for making this sort of day possible.

**This Cache:**
This is the second time in only a couple weeks that I found a cache next to train tracks and signed the log at the same time a train went by! Very lucky and also quite cool! I managed to get a photo as well!
There was also a Police car sitting at the entrance to the carpark! I could almost see them from the cache and was worried they might question me! But all good
The cache blends in well and is hidden in a good spot. Appreciate this hide, good job
Thanks halcyon123!

**The Day:**
Day 1 of an extended weekend caching trip, and a family member's 50th up in Sydney!
Started off from Canberra at 7am and reached my accomodation in Moss Vale at 6pm. Then cached for another hour between 7-8pm! Today consisted of a few short stops to grab new + missed caches on the way to the Southern Highlands region, and then a big sweep of country roads and towns, picking up every cache I could and using some specific caches to guide me around. Visited some excellent locations today and also found some very creative caches! Found a total of 78 caches for the day!
Thanks to all the CO's! See individual log about each cache above ^^
