Today I did Parkrun in Orford, then back to Triabunna to collect the husband and a packed lunch. Then for a casual caching afternoon. Had a lovely time, some cool walks, lunch at a picnic table in the sunshine and found about 10 caches. Thanks to all the CO for their hides we really appreciate you adding to our enjoyment of the game. [9063] Holidays on Tasmania, day 15. Today we moved to our final location on Tasmania at Port Arthur. We only logged two geocaches on the way and spend the rest of the day on the interesting historic site. This was the second of the two, a quick find. TFTC!
Tftc. After an easy grab went out and had a look at view. Low tide and lots of small crabs.
Drove past here on the way to Triabunna and thought I bet theres a cache there so stopped in on the way back and sure enough there was.Was in the spot I thought itd be but was actually fairly well camouflaged (the direction of the sun may have helped) and was initially thrown off track when I didnt immediately spot it. After checking another spot I went back to the hint and found it where Id first thought.Little plastic baggy is somewhat worse for wear but the log itself was dry.First one of the year for me, TFTC
21288During our great trip around the world we arrived in Australia after visiting Canada, US, and some places in the Caribean Sea and Central America as well as Fiji. Besides lots of sightseeing, we can't do without caching, of course. That's why we also passed by this place, searched for the cache, found it and successfully signed the logbook.Thank you for hiding and maintaining the cache. Only thanks to dedicated owners is this beautiful game possible.Wir danken alle Cache-Ownern fr ihren Einsatz, denn ohne die Gemeinschaft ist dieses tolle weltweite Hobby nicht zu realisieren.
Found today while out caching with Zozetta. We began the day with a find just out of Sorell, and then drove up to Buckland to turn a blue frown yellow. That done, we continued on to Orford where I found the caches in the ‘Magic Beach’ series that I was yet to find and Zozetta, who hadn’t found any them, found them all. We then continued along Rheban Road for a little while to get a cache there that we hadn’t got yet, and then crossed over to the other side of the Prosser river to get caches in Orford, Louisville and Double Creek. We then went a bit further up the road to Triabunna to find the caches there, and then we made our way back towards Sorell, finding one more cache at Double Creek, a cache between Buckland and Runnymede, and then we finished off the days caching with another find near Sorell. In total we had eighteen finds and no DNFs.
A quick find here.
Thanks for the cache OldSaint!

It was time for a return trip to Tassie to explore the southern part of the state. I paired up with OzHockeyChick for a 5 day caching blitz with some sightseeing in between. Today was Day 4 and we headed north east from Port Arthur to Orford and Triabunna via the TTSS trail with the sun shining all the way.
Just one more! How could we pass up a drive by on the way home.
Thanks OldSaint for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Quick grab on the way down South. Some of those trucks seem to get really close! TFTC[I'm logging this a few months after finding the cache, but I have photo evidence if the CO wants to get in contact]
We're spending a few days in Orford doing the nearby TTSS caches and just generally looking around.
This cache was a quick easy find on the way past.

I’m in Tasmania on a geocaching tour for a week some some other keen New Zealander geocachers. We started in Hobart, travelled up to Launceston, and today we are making our way back down to Hobart, heading across the island and towards the east coast. I’m travelling today with Net61 and Supernanny.
We stopped here on the way to Hobart, and a quick find by Net61.
Thanks for the cache

A perfect park&grab-cache Cache in good condition. TFTC and greetings from Switzerland
Nice cache spot…in a somewhat obvious location at least to me. Ja1m3_Cee walked right by it. Nice spot.
Thanks for the cache old st, thought I would take a walk from our campsite at the pub at Triabunna couldn't be too far. Was found in good condition unlike me, the reward though was on my way back the wind died down and I could feel the warmth of the sun, nothing beats the winter sun. regards from Victourer
First cache in this beautiful state, im looking forward to a couple of fun days exploring the local caching.
On a road trip from Hobart to Stanley with my mum over 2 weeks. We visited a number of towns and we were mainly targeting Virtuals and Earthcaches due to the amazing locations they take one to. We did pick up the random traditional, multi, puzzle, wherigo and even a couple letterbox caches whilst travelling.
It was time to head to Bicheno for the next leg of our road trip. We collected a number of caches along the way just to keep us occupied and see where they took us.
Thanks for placing and mainting this geocache OldSaint

One of the good old common hides here, always works a treat. Not as tricky as we have experienced. TFTC
Found while staying in the area for a few days. An easy find with the aid of accurate coordinates and the hint. TFTC

11:49, 3 May 2021. #440.
Found with RGSBruce on Day 10 of our trip to Tassie (his fifth, my fourth).
I'm a bit behind on writing up my logs, languishing in yet another COVID lockdown in a cold and dismal Melbourne , so what he wrote.

Day 10 and the last day of HerIndoorsOutdoors and my trip to Tassie.
A leisurely drive from Swansea to Hobart, via wherever took our fancy today, with stops to pick up caches along the way as we had plenty of time to get to the airport for out 20:50 flight to Melbourne (which ended up departing after it should have arrived in Melbourne thanks to some foul weather).
A nice, quick drive by today. Chosen because of its proximity to the road. Had to clear away a spider web or two before retrieving the cache, but no big deal.
This turned out to be cache #4 of 15 today. Our biggest caching day in quite some time .
The cache is in good condition.
