Walking around Anstey Hill recreation Park, trying to find pieces of paper to sign. and I agree with previous surgeries that this container has probably gone walkabout. oh well.
Several consecutive DNF's - can the CO please check on this one, as many cachers believe its missing
Searched carefully for 10 mins, no luck, looks like its walked and needs replacing
Oh dear 2/3 today. Looked at good hiding spots saw nothing. Turned over every rock looked up and down the tree, enjoyed the scenery will come back when we know it's there
What a gorgeous serene place to walk. Got the old heart rate going but that’s a good thing apparently. Log book damp from recent rains and will need to be replaced. Tftc. .
Caught up with Mattycat for another tuesday adventures focusing on Ansty hill and some nearby caches, with a litlle huffing and puffing up and down the hills we soon reached GZ for a straight forward find

Met up with Mr froghoppin and headed down to the foothills of suburbia for a little caching fun,
And so with quite an uphill walk we come to your cache! Nice views along the way.
Much thanks to CLS_DLE for placing and maintaining this cache on our metro SA geo game map

Searching , finding and signing cache logs alone or with family and friends using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Whereyougo, Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S21u, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or often with just plain old dumb luck Plenty of that luck stuff actually!!!
*Logs are composed and published using GSAK of course.*
A couple of maintenance assist tasks on the trail caches too. Looked like there had been some extreme weather since we were here last... oh yep, the floods the day after we left!!!
---
Caching is a hazardous activity!
Keep a lookout for sand traps, snakes, surprise cliffs, boxing roos, wombats, bulldust, and floods,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins and don't fall out of trees...
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- but especially lookout for any old bugs from alpha to omega !!! . [xx(]
Try to keep Travel Bugs as the only bugs you share and pass on
Now everything's opening more - even more important to sanitise and safely distance!!!
Really good of all those placing quality caches out and about around the countryside areas,
in sensible safe places especially! - it keeps our game safe, fun, and interesting
Thanks heaps for reading all this addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere, apparently! You win a virtual smile for the effort and getting to the end of the log

I decided to head out for a walk today and this area was my destination. It was a decent trek up hill and a good reminder that I need to do more walking! Just as. I approached GZ a few mountain bikers went by but glad they were more focused on what they were doing. A quick find in the end. TFTC CLS DLE
Found by the Aussie branch of Dobie's Pride and Nick on a gorgeous spring afternoon. TFTC!

A beautiful afternoon for a walk in the hills and an opportunity to explore this location. I'm sure I'd walked through here many years ago, but of course that was pre geocaching. Today it was nice to bring a muggle friend back. Lovely to see Kenny Koala hanging out in the trees catching some zzz's.
**Thanks to CLS_DLE for placing this cache.**

Found. Lovely walk in Anstey Hill with so many birds busy today! Swapped an army man with bazooka for a bottle of bubble blowing mixture (in a ziplock bag). Love that there was plenty of items to choose from too. TFTC
A quick find here in between the active wear walkers
This afternoon seemed like a good time to go for a walk up a anstey hill with the weather being in top notch after a week of rubbish in the sky.
A loop was planned and around I went picking up the caches along the way. Ended up with 11 finds and 3 DNFs.
Thanks for the cache

Nice quick find on our Friday arvo hike. A bit more on the larger side of medium though
Cheeky pink poking thro. Beautiful spot to make out you're taking a break. Lots of hikers out today. Tftc
Today with COVID-19 requirements still in effect, but fitness still being promoted, I decided to head to Anstey Hill Recreation Park for some solo mountain biking. I hadn't ridden here in years (actually I've only ridden once when MTBs were first allowed in Anstey around 2015), and so needed to refresh myself with some of the main riding trails. The plan was to find a few D/T 4.5/3.5 caches to complete my next D/T loop. I parked at the visitor's car park off North East Road, and took a few tracks and trails towards the Ridgetop Track, before riding across, and then taking the "Grand Canyon downhill" track. I then headed west along those peaks/ridges, and took a real sketchy track down (I do recall riding that one before). It just started getting dark as I was near below, and with a few final walks and geocache finds, I was back at the car as the sun started to set. I couldn't believe how many people were about today, probably enjoying fitness whilst trying to maintain social distancing. A nice day out, with a few kangaroos spotted around too.
I rode my mountain bike on the nearby trails, and this section had their tracks reasonably maintained, which was enjoyable. I stopped just nearby, just as a few kangaroos stopped what they were doing, and checked back in my direction. Within a few minutes, I had the cache in hand. Perfect coordinates according to my GPS. The cache container and logbook were in good shape, although the logbook is getting full, and probably needs a replacement soon. Thanks CLS_DLE for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Great Geocache. We didn’t exchange but left a coin to see how things have changed the next time we come. It was an amazing one.

A nice bit of exercise in this lovely Recreation Park here today at Anstey Hill [^] was had whilst I hiked my way up to this hide. Hiker Muggles were about so I chose my retrieval and re-hide times wisely and SL at 11:34 on Sun 24 June 2018.

Cache #1801.
I & J and the little one are feel this Sunday, and the weather is great, so why not go hiking and geocaching on the way?
Today's target is Yellowtail Loop at Anstey Hill. We tried 11 caches today, and found 8 of them. This was the second cache we found today.
Cache was easy to find, and not far from the track. Signed the log, waited until other hikers walked away, and put it back. Covered it well. Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for the cache, CLS_DLE.

Out with a group today that I have now introduced to caching. Easy caches like this have peaked their curiosity and they are now keen to get learn more. TFTC
Another Tuesday Trekking with Mrs. S.A. Sewer Rats. I have been slowly clearing out the caches in and around Ansteys Hill for quite a while now. [:X] Time to get a few from the northern section of the park me thinks.
Mmmm decisions time. We decided on the walking track rather than the fire track. In the end it made little difference. [:o)] A nice quick find at GZ.
**Thanks CLS_DLE for this cache. **
