We are on a caravanning trip around Australia seeing the sights and finding a few caches along the way. Today we had arrived in town and need to get the car serviced and we were going to visit the caravan show. After dropping the car off, We got the bikes out and I headed out to find some caches and then head to show a bit later. I looked on the way to the show but didn't locate it but on the return my partner located thus one. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.

So JMelb is now officially a Senior also, so we decided to take advantage of the Seniors week of free regional travel during Seniors Month and our choce of destination was Traralgon Smile We had decided rather than catch a local train into the city on our line and then the regional one out on this line that we would instead drive to Pakenham and catch the Traralgon train from there. All was good until we got off the freeway and started heading in to Pakenham .... at 40km an hour and traffic banked up! Then as we turned off onto Railway Ave, we were stopped by a worklady saying this road was blocked off for roadworks only and we had to go around the other way.... time was ticking over and as we eventually found another approach to the station we saw the train arrive .... and leave!! Botherrrrr! It would be another hour until the next train!!! So we decided instead to head to Nar Nar Goon Station and find a couple of caches before the next train was due! lol We then made sure we were at the station in plenty of time to catch the next train and so we arrived at Traralgon just before 12. We decided to go to the bakery to get some lunch and then headed across to Victory Park to eat it by the river. We then set off to do some of these caches and this was first. It took us a while to find this one as the GPS was leading us into the garden. However on reading back on logs we found one which gave us a nudge as to where we should be looking and then found the cache. TFTC Loesch - GJMMelb

12:28This was the second find of the day in the beautiful sunshine, found fairly quickly after standing on the edge of the rougher stuff and looking in the right direction. Once I spotted this feature, I knew where to feel about. Thanks, Team Loesch.--- Another trip out to the end of the Myki zone with a muggle mate. This time, it was Gippsland, which gave my travelling companion a bit of a lie in because he could join the train at Caulfield. So I bagsed a bay of four at Southern Cross. After the trip out, it was good to get a leg stretch along the creek.#9047

I had organised for a weekend in Gippsland... with Saturday allocated to caching... with Sale being the focal point for the day... to visit the grave of Allan McLean for the Victorian Premiers Wherigo... Having completed the "all important" Wherigo task, I was back to Traralgon for the night... and still looking for caches.

Having walked as far as **TCT - Crossing**, I decided to keep on going to this cache. With the indicated GZ wandering around a bit, it took me a little while to find... but I got there in the end.

Thanks **Team Loesch** for the cache.

Out on a Christmas break with sir_spectre, exploring southern Victoria grabbing lots of smilies, finding caches in LGA's and of course signing a few more challenges.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.

02-Jan-23
stopped to get a new victorian LGA. quick find.
Left with Mogni the day before Christmas to go down to Mount Gambier for Christmas Day. Then on the 27th left for Victoria. Plan A was to go to the Ottway Rangers, complete the Geo tour in Ballarat and then head to Geelong and take the Queenscliff ferry over to Sorrento then grabbing new LGA's on route to almost the New South Wales/Victoria border and the old 2001 cache near there. Also attending a community day event, a CITO and a couple of other events as well. Then head in to the high country and come back to SA in 11 days. Things didn't go to plan. Turns out that one of my almost new tyres was defective ( side wall blown out ) and blew in the ottway ranges on a narrow road in the rainforest, Drove to Melton to stay overnight and get a new tyre there, tyre machine broken and the other 5 tyre companies not open so off to geelong for a new tyre ( and some caches on the way and in geelong ) . The event we where going to attend in geelong didn't turn out, he was late by ALOT to his own event. Then to ballarat to same day since we had a b&b booked for the next few nights. Planned on getting the ferry at 1200 and ended up on the 400 pm ferry but we did attend a event and CITO in geelong. Then we drive into the rear end of a thunder storm with forecast 20 mm dropping for the next few days. Cancel the high country and change targets to letterbox D/T for fizzy grid only using letterboxes and same wirh the multi fizzy grid plus fizzy grid only using victorian caches plus any challenge caches we where near. Plus getting a few more victorian 2001 caches. And finally any caches that had 40 more more favourite points. Only got soaked to the bone for a couple of days but the water on the tracks was noticeable. On the return home tried to get the rest of the missing LGA's around the Melbourne CBD i missed in the last mega. Still a fun trip was had if not the planned one.
