No luck for me... a few DNF's now. Perhaps CO can check?
Thanks to LovelyLadyLocks for the placement and fun.

LovelyLadyLocks I didn’t find your cache Watch This Space on 6/4/21, 2:55 pm. Nope add me to the DNF list.
No luck today, we were also competing with not getting a parking ticket. Hopefully next time

Attending a conference nearby at the UWS parramatta city campus, so took a small walk to this cache. Not hard for me, quick grab and sign. Logbook is full and need a replacement.

A few days of research fieldwork in Sydney (from Canberra) made a for a few select opportunities to grab some local geocaches at the end of the working day.
A check of the geocaching app from my Parramatta hotel room revealed a couple of apps in reasonable walking distance (this of course being one of them). A few muggles about heading for home or wherever it is muggles go of a late afternoon, but none of them cared about me as I poked around and tried likely hides. Luckily not many tries were required and the cache was soon revealed. Yay!!! TFTC

#5184 5th for today
I've only recently become a professional geocacher (retired), so today was my first day on the job. It wasn't a hugely successful day, but it was deliberately unhurried and being from Canberra, I was happy to enjoy the very pleasant conditions here in Parramatta today. I'll be heading back to cold, old Canberra
tomorrow.
Not too hard for an experienced goecacher. I watched the space but nothing changed, so I moved on.
Thanks LovelyLadyLocks

Last day day in Sydney with megawat60, and today’s plan is to gather caches on the way to and from Parramatta. After lunch we raced here for a find before making our way to the Ferry, which we found was not running anyway. TFTC!
Found this with YetiNZ on our way to the train. Visiting from NZ it was a super hot so thankfully it didn’t take too long to spot as we’ve come across similar caches. It was a good detour. TFTC
Visiting this area for the weekend, and on our way from the hotel to the railway station we stopped by here. Did not take long to spot where this one would be, and there we found it all safe and dry. TFTC.
Gotcha this time after DNF about 6 months ago.
Feeling proud of myself for finding a cache that the CO said "This one might be a little tough for newer cachers - however seasoned ones shouldn't have too much of an issue." This is find number 371, so it has taken a while to become "seasoned"
Thanks LovelyLadyLocks

Tradies - so noisy just up the road and well before the curfew of 7am so I was awake much earlier than intended. OK so that means a change of plan for today.
I trained it to Parramatta and walked to this cache location.
When I first started working I worked in Hassell Street just around the corner, NOTHING is the same. It was quiet and there were small federation houses along here, and now...erk!
Anyway the cache was a quick find, thank goodness as there were traffic controllers almost opposite who could have been watching me, who knows, but they couldn't leave their posts.
TFTC # 3085, another day to add to the streak!

Having some time to spare as my wife has an appointment nearby I decided to make good use of the time and do three nearby caches.
At first I walked along the river for the first waypoint of the earth cache 'Parramatta Shale', then I moved away from the river for two traditionals.
This was the second traditional, not at the nicest of places. TFTC.

Looks like they're filling up every space in Parramatta as fast as they can, as you watch. TFTC
Staying in apartments just around the corner, took a detour to find this one on the way to the train station. GPS was out of sorts but with a quick search in the places where we expect to find them, had the cache in hand.
Wary of the construction workers down the street had the log signed and were on our way. Thanks for the cache LovelyLadyLocks. Was a wlecome break from the hustle and bustle of the City.

Having had to pay for a half hour parking in order to get the nearby Park Street Troll 'park & grab', I figured I might as well make the most of my dollar by getting a smiley here as well. No problems making the find ... the hiding spot is something I always check these days when I see such things at a GZ. Thanks LovelyLadyLocks.
With the GPS jumping all over the place and no hint given or clues in past logs, I had very little chance of finding the cache. Will put on watchlist and maybe come back sometime later.
Rode here on the bicycle from Lidcombe shops. Easy find at gz.
Needs new log. Log more than 3/4 full.

Found whilst waiting for geo teens soccer game to start nearby. A random person popped out of the port-a-loo across the road and walked off just as we were about to place it back.tftc
Always great to fill in time while you’re waiting for something.
Ducked by here quickly during peak hour after work to grab this instead of waiting around in one spot.
Was in basically the first place I looked. Seasoned cacher indeed
Have been to this spot for a few different things in the past.

A day off work today for an appointment I had to attend not far from here. It was a quick find thankfully because there is a fair but of construction work going on nearby. TFTC!
I used to do a lot of work around the corner at the NSW Police HQ building, but it seems my field work days are over. Probably a lot easier on a Sunday anyway. Just had to wait out a muggle who was quite happy to sit in his car with the engine running parked in exactly the wrong spot. Eventually he sodded off and I could make the grab. Thanks LovelyLadyLocks.
Walking down to get dinner, I pretty much knew where this had to be. I was right. But managed to check all the rest first. Thanks for the cache.
I quickly manned this one whilst passing through the area.
Thanks for the urban hide

TFTC, whilst in the area for work and staying in a hotel less than 300 metres away, I had to quickly duck out and grab this one, good co ords led to a quick find.
This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 9480.
A nice quick little find as I wandered the back streets of Parramatta this evening

Best way to recover from a gruelling two-hour job interview nearby? Find a geocache! Truly grateful for the head-clearing find. Wow! Things are changing fast around here. I will watch with interest. SL TFTC Cheers... Gaztek
dropped by this spot when in town to meet someone for lunch.

Cycled up to here this black morning and capped off a quick find. One must be careful of round things above a wet drop! Perhaps wander a few steps away. Many thanks to the CO LovelyLadyLocks for establishing this cache so the rest of us can have fun finding it.
Found in the company of Wystan and our first Australian cache! We arrived from England this evening and as today is a gap on our geocaching calendar we HAD to go and look for one., even though it was nearly dark! By the time we got opposite the 'space' we needed the torch to search although in the end one was not required.
Found it with Mrs Wystan. First cache in Australia having just arrived today from the UK. Looking forward to a few weeks mixing work and caching. Thanks. Mrs Wystan spotted it first - not too tricky as we've seen a few hidden like this in England and France.
Located at 10:45pm. Great hide, but helped by the fact that I had earlier today logged a cache exactly the same as this one near Lakemba. Спасибо! תודה! TFTC!
I only had a couple of hundred metres to walk to the train station but plotted a circuitous route via some caches. I was hoping to walk by a coffee shop as well but instead found an avenue of barbers.
I had to wait for some surveyors to pack up their jigger at one end of the street and some builders at the other end before I could fiddle with the furniture, but the job was nutted. If only I knew where I was. tftc

I thought I was going to be muggled out of this one but discovered a very friendly local resident. Could I not take his assistance and have a bit of a chat.
You should say hello if you come. Must be tough here so a kind word will not go astray.
Great hide and an excellent chache. Coordinates were a bit out for me but didn't matter in the end.

**CUT & PASTE BIT:**
I had a ‘flex’ afternoon off work with the goal of walking from Parramatta to Hornsby. Found 3 caches, then went back to Parra Westfield to buy an iPhone charger cable which I’d forgotten. Doh! 2 hours down and I was back where I started. Eventually arrived Hornsby Railway Station in the dark after 8 hours, 24Km, 44,500 steps and 8 cache finds
**END C&PB.**
Fisrt cache found today, and the GPSr was bouncing around everywhere. I have found a couple of this 'type of hide', I remember the first one was very difficult. This time though it was one of the first things I checked .... with no luck. Moved down the street a bit for more searching and a check on the iPhone to try to improve my location. Looked to one side and - Oh, it will be there. Cool! Nicely done cache. Signed log. TFTC!

In town to complete residential school for my degree so I made this detour on my way back to the train. The difficulty rating has me over thinking. After about 10 minutes I made the oh so simple hide!! SL, said g'day to the homeless guy on the stairs, replaced cache and I was on my way. Cache# 457 TFTC
Today I had a birthday party lunch at Parramatta, why waste the morning when it can be used for other thing?

Walked up from the ferry wharf and noticed a resident camped on the nearby stairs. He didn’t bother me as the tree trunk obscured his view. Nice hide bud
Being early allowed us to head over and park close. We made the right choice with no muggles around and soon had our name in the log. TFTC.
Found on the way home after a night out in the city Thanks for placing & maintaining this cache LovelyLadyLocks

19/08/17. 7:47 AM. Cache #5264.
1st of 3 this morning - Harris Park, South Wentworthville, Guildford.
First time caching again in the week after a combination of busy days and then being laid low with the flu, so it was good to be able to get out. I parked right next to GZ, got out and worked out where I'd hide something around here, turned out to be a good guess. SL and replaced. This find gets me my International Geocaching Day souvenir for 2017.
On to "VIGORO FIELD #3" next. TFTC.

#4282- The shame of it. With a short time before possibly ending up with a parking ticket, I had to use a paf. The Gps was jumping everywhere, including across the road. Got the obvious spot in the end. Thanks

Streak Day #1497 - Spotted the hide as soon as we neared GZ, just had to await some muggles getting into their car before retrieving it stealthily. TFTC
Parked right opposite GZ and since there were a couple of people getting parking tickets from the machine I ducked across the road and made a quick find after seeing there were not too many hidey holes. Back to the car and out of there before the rangers found me. Thanks for the cache.
Toriaz and I had a long walk around Parramatta today, starting at North Parramatta near the gaol where a new cache has recently been published. After a late lunch at Westfield we walked down to this one before turning to head back to the car, all the way back near the gaol. Oh dear!
Thanks

Didn't bring my running gear today, so I decided to walk over to this cache instead of heading to the park as usual. When this one was published, I thought it might be referring to the new building that we will be moving into when it's finished, but when I zoomed in on the map I realised it was around the corner from where we're going. Parramatta seems to just be one solid building site these days?
Cache was a quick find, in the second spot I checked.

Just the one today after yesterday's cache binge.
Like the other caches published at the same time it was just the wrong time for me to go for it. Oh well.
Today, though it was perfect for a quick park and grab...
Parked next to GZ - wants a ticket but I'm not going anywhere. Made the right guess first time - the spot just called to me.
Took it back to *The Hademobile* to complete signing duties, replaced, then back home before peak hour traffic hits - not that I have a long drive.
