A short walk where the cache was soon found. Today we left Perth with the view to head east, ending the day in York where we would base ourselves for a few days. Sunny blue skies and a perfect day to be out exploring, loving the warm weather and the comfort of a t-shirt and need for a sun hat in winter. We spent time exploring along the way with time in Mundaring and the Mundaring Weir before heading out to stop in York. Thanks for your cache.
Another long trip around AU over the top end with lots of detours. Now heading back east across the Nullarbor.TFTC. Nice quick find.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 62 - Swan Valley Perth Day 7. After two days of very wet weather, today was cool but clear and sunny. A fantastic day. I headed into the Perth Hills to tackle two more counties. Mundaring and Kalamunda. Parts of today's drive reminded me of where I grew up in the Adelaide hills. Not to mention a big road with lots of trucks. I took a little extra tri to do some Labs around the town of Mundaring before heading hoe to sit out in the sun doing my logging and planning. I visited this cache last week and failed to locate it. I did get a hint from the CO and today as I was passing, I thought I should stop for another look. Well there you go, it was there, just needed a bit of farming to get to it.Thanks for the cache neva2old48059.1 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Lackey MychaelAnne A#498**Albida**
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 57 - Swan Valley Perth Day 1. For my first day in the area, I selected a series of caches out along the Swan valley and got to see some nice vineyards and river views. I even stopped at another cholate venue. I did a few chores in the middle of the day and then went for a few more suburban caches to round out my caching for the day. It was a quiet night at home and it did not rain today. The first few caches of the day were nice drive bys, but that did not make them simple. The road seemed quite busy, but I was able to get out o the way and spend the time required to locate the cache. I failed here as well. I hope I just missed it.Thanks.Albida
Found in the logical spot, felt eyes on me from the car park. Happy for a swift find.

Back in WA after being on the road travelling since early 2014.
A day of medical appointments, bank appointments and multiple phone calls and visits to 2Telstra shops/business centres before we were able to head back to camp.
With the sky black and threatening a thunderstorm in peak hour traffic we still detoured for these 2 caches. All in good order here.

Passing by so I revisited for another look. Found quickly this time. It was early evening, and after reading the logs I know now why there were a couple of cars with single blokes in them!!
Out on a run to collect some finds in the north eastern suburbs. Cheers neva2old!
Out n about with Mr converting some green to yellow to spread some sunshine on my map. Beautiful SPRING day …Had some good finds and laughs TFTC
Went down to the park for a bbq this morning, whilst exploring I had a hunt for this one and happily found it! Nice work on the camo.
Signed and returned, TFTC!

This was not what I was expecting! Nice hide here TFTC. Always wondered about this sculpture myself.
We were in the area so I made a quick detour to grab this one between showers. All good here. TFTC neva2old!
It took a few minutes to find but one we noticed the familiar shape we knew we had found it.
Find 6 of 14 on a rather strange caching day, in two parts - firstly walking and mountain biking through a deserted Whiteman Park, then picking up some completed jigsaws in Yanchep in very hot afternoon conditions by car. All caches were found quite quickly and no problems to report.
We remember spending a good amount of time here last time. This time it was a quick find - obviously we were looking elsewhere!

OMG, not sure how I've not found this the last three times, I found it within seconds today. The trees seemed to have thinned out a bit which I think definitely helped.
Happy to finally turn this frown into a smiley. Thanks for the cache neva2old

Being familiar with the camo helped us make a quick find.
TFTC neva2old this is find #8834 for us.

Yet another offering from this CO. Yes we had heard about the reputation of this area when we were up here with our kayaks. Certainly a few dodgy looking characters hanging about again today. I don’t think they are all cachersTFTC neva2old
Another lovely spot and a good find on a weekend of caching. Not too difficult, but need to pay attention. TFTC
Found the cache but it definitely was not where it apparantly was last time as matty16 and I dug around this spot b4. Oh well, frouny to a smiley
A long time since my first attempt at this cache, I came back for another look today, but this one still eludes me. Despite checking both sides of the path, high and low, behind the fence, I still couldn't find this one.
Worst day ever? 7 DNFs and no finds. Really enjoyed kayaking from Upper Swan #1 to #6 and back with the whole family - our first ever outing where all 4 of us paddle. We found zero caches but not to worry, we have an easy one round the back of the dodgy toilets Spent a good 10 minutes in what felt like the right spot, through the gap, trees either side...but saw no caches. Maybe it's cache blindness after spending the morning on the water! Thanks for the hide anyway.
Out on a Sunday drive around Midland just picking off some caches out this way. Destination was selected mainly because a missing cache in the Woodbridge Riverside Walk had been replaced so I had chance to remove the sad blue DNF face that was spoiling that series, lol. Stopped off here on the way and was thankfully rewarded with a nice quick find Not a place I was keen to loiter too long, lol. Simple but effective hide, no problems here foR me today - TFTC
Quick find here after work. Yes, definitely avoid the toilet block below Ugh. Tftc
Love this area. Great to park here and have lunch or do a bit of fishing with the kids. My daughter and I wandered over the see some of the Avon Descent and find this geocache. TFTC
Either my eyes were playing tricks but I can't find it. I did notice the trees look like they have been pruned so it may of been clipped away
I’m still new at this. I got to point 0, but I couldn’t find any tubes or such like.
A short walk down the track with iluvtrekking and the container was soon in hand. Thanks neva2old
Thanks for taking the time to hide this for us to find. We are visiting from Brampton, Ontario, Canada and Port Williams, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Have driven by this little icon that has been sitting on our Nuvi for ages & finally turned off to make a find here... We parked up the top & after a short walk the prize was quickly discovered

Found it TFTC neva2old Well I found part A and part B but no Bison. I have replaced the cache with a new log and PM to the CO. should be good to go.
Thank you! After I kayaking nearby, Photo-Play and I headed over to look for this one.rning attempt on this series. Photo-Play soon spotted the container.
Figured I'd grab this for the NYE souvenir. Searched for about 10 minutes with no luck.
Another big days caching with Barnzy12 to cleanup a number of green dots that have managed to appear on the map in recent months. Today we set out to remedy the "invasion".
Started off with a huge walk around Woodbridge with the lovely walk trail highlighted by the Woodbridge riverside series of caches that form a nice walk oth with the others along there.
Meandered our way towards the swan valley with a quick stop off at three sticks, and after reading a recent log by a local cacher about the activities of single men at the toilet block and then seeing two single males in the car park we made a quick find and escape before heading further along towards west swan road.
Drive up west swan road finding cache after cache from the swan valley cycle tour that we have previously missed before attempting a number of caches around the Ellenbrook area that we haven't gotten.
All up a great days caching with us hitting he magical number of 30 finds, which is helping keep up our yearly numbers!
Thanks to the local COs for a great days caching.

Just a word of advice for any lone male cachers using this area. The car park is well known for single male occupant vehicles, sometimes enjoying each other's company. Avoid the toilet block if you encounter such vehicles.
Out for the afternoon in the Swan Valley. We stopped here after enjoying a beer across the road and the cache didn't take too long to locate. This is the second one of these I have found today.

Out with Shortie27 doing some caches. Found this one fairly quickly. Clever cache
Headed out with the geodaughter Kristybelle to grab some caches in the Ellenbrook area. All the caches were found with a couple that took a bit of searching. TFTC neva2old

I was out for a leisurely bike ride today, and after finding the Woodbridge caches I headed out this way on the way home. Unfortunately I couldn't find the cache. I only had the phone as my GPS, but I looked in a lot of trees and along the fence. I found the entry point mentioned, and headed in, but still didn't find it.
I wasn't anticipating getting a ride in today since the forecast was shocking. Early afternoon, the weather was quite good so MDV and I jumped on our bikes and headed to GZ. I hadn't read info so took us the wrong approach. Thankfully it's easily to jump a fence and I was able to log a quick find so we could cross the highway and ride home. Thanks for the cache.
Woohoo *FTF* @ 7:50am.
I pass over this bridge daily to and from work so no detour needed here.
Took a minute or two to find but eventually spotted the hide. TFTC

Decided to see if I could grab a few caches after work today as I was having withdrawal symptoms, been over a week since my last find.
Had my eye on this one since last night. Learnt the FTF had gone through the magic of social media but thought I would still drop by for look see. A quick find was had once at GZ. Driven past these sticks several times and also have wondered what they're all about.
neva2old I found your cache at 4:58pm, this was the 2nd of 2 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 4088. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.
