Found GZ. Ground has been levelled and sown in new grass. Nowhere to 'nest' anything. Sorry
It sounds like this one and it's home have gone, so maybe we will be onto O take 3.
Seems like they're doing a bit of work around here, maybe the cache has found a new home or we were just having a "mans look", either way, we didn't find it this day.
Seeing as it was the school holidays and the weather was good I took my two eldest sons on a fun bike ride from the Hamilton gardens along the western side river to Pukete, over the Pukete pedestrian bridge and then home. They really enjoyed seeing the city from a different perspective, even if my little one complained of a sore bum at the end of it. While we were finding this cache my wife was actually visiting the CO's after having dropped us off. Sorry my take 2 'O' log is not as 'owesome' as take 1. But how do you beat a log that included the phrase 'octopuses orifice'?
Decided to bicycle to Subway for lunch and drop in to see this dude or dudette enroute. Thanks for the cache.
Trying to up the step count to regain lost fitness, so geopup & I headed out from the gardens and walked a circuit around the river bridges this afternoon. Had to wait for some muggles to move along before making the find here but thankfully, no-one thinks twice about me loitering in the park with a dog. Love the cache holder - made me smile, Tftc
A beautiful garden with an incredible number of different country-typical variants. It was a wonderful day.
We were in Hamilton to attend the church bell ringing practice and called in to the gardens for a short walk before dinner.
All I can say is that it was overly oomid!
TFTC!

My 20th find!! Seems to be an event of some sort happening here, luckily facing the other direction, with a container and fence hiding the cache from muggles.
O for awesome! Was out running this morning and went to grab this one, but it wasn't downloaded on my phone. So I went talking to a couple of trees and this tree one yelled "Oh, I have it". Quick run and grab cache. Many thanks.
A quick find while wandering around these very beautiful gardens with Geoson and doing the occasional cache. Tftc. MattyH from Tassie
Found with VikingNav today while exploring the area today. Thanks for the fun cache! >^..^
We are spending a few days in Hamilton on our tour of New Zealand. We are headed to see Hobbiton this afternoon, so decided to see the Hamilton Gardens in the morning. While here we searched out and found several caches. Quick find and had a laugh over the octopus log. Thanks for the fun in an enjoyable setting.
#454. After finding a few caches over the last couple of weeks, we thought we should get the one in Hamilton closest to home. Quick wander to the gardens, busy today, and a quick find. All in order. TFTH.
A stunning Hamilton day perfect for a bike ride into the gardens, set off early to avoid the crowds of people, easy find, tftc
Helpful and loud rosella showed us the way. Beautiful afternoon to be walking in the gardens with the puppy.tftc
After investigating the new tunnel under Cobham Drive we came along here for this cache.
+ a marble, - nothing.

Nice easy find. Like the nest lining. Very good. A ouple of young mugges practising on a low power motor bike near GZ.
Neat find on a beautiful morning with my nephew realised when we got there we left the pen in the car on the other gardens - sorry. Loving all the new development at the gardens especially the new playground near here!
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)...
After a successful swoop through the Eyes puzzles, we looked around for any other caches that needed a visit... This one seemed to be a bit of a hike on the geomap. But once we parked at the rose gardens and set off, it was an easy stroll to ground zone. This area will be much nicer once the underpass is complete and things have settled in. TFTC.

Cache number 3519 and day 111 of my current streak. After an overnight tramp on Mt Taranaki today was a day for lazying around the house. Needed a cache for the day so this is what I had kept this one for. After parking up I had to circumnavigate the construction zone. Once thru it was straight to the GZ. Cache in hand and signed. Thank you for the placement.
October is my O word as it is the month that I found it.

No sign of a TB unfortunately. Checking on the new stuff in Hamilton Gardens. It's going to be fantastic. TFTC.
Zig zagged out way here with the small group . They are getting the hang of it quickly . Good find . Thanks
Greetings from Canberra, Australia! While my friend was looking at the University, I decided to take a nice walk around the local area to get some more caches that we missed the other day. In the hot and beaming sun, I peacefully strolled along off and on the grass towards GZ for a very quick one. Log is very wet however The cash setup was quite cool. Beautiful spot to sit in the shade and sign the logbook. TNLNSL. TFTC!
Kind of in the area nearby with some spare time so made the diversion and the nice stroll through the very quite gardens. As usual this was a very well themed cache and 1 "O" object (oh look I used an O word.... and another....). Covered cache up well as it was very exposed.
So saw this go up yesterday but live in Te puke so flag it. Today I see there is still a possibility of it being up for grabs. So here we are in Hamilton. Being quite optimistic of a possible ftf make our way over. Get to gz. And Oh my...I am the FTF. Overjoyed! Chucking in some O words. Lol. Cool cache. I remember the cute orginal. I must of caught the cachers of Hamilton napping. Lol Tftc
As it was fathers day, and being a father, I thought that I would be allowed to grab a couple of caches about town before having to take my father out for a late lunch. Had the place to myself and the cache was very quickly in hand
Thanks for the placement and the cache

I had noticed the alert for this new find on Friday night and thought someone else would race out and get the FTF so left it for another day. Saw on FB this morning that the Hamilton cachers were all thinking the same as the FTF was claimed by someone from BOP!! Wow we must be slack.
So I thought I'd better head out while mum was keeping a eye on the little one during her nap and clean up my unfound caches in Hamilton. A easy find here, and left a few TB's for the next finder.
