Third times a charm

My phone was not giving me great direction, so I entered the final coords into my GPSr for better accuracy. I still needed to read some logs and look at pictures to know where the best place to look was located. TFTC.

Was looking in the tree for it for about 30 minutes. Found it by accident walking back to my car ready to leave

After looking for this one a couple of times each year since 2020, we finally found it .Found at night with a torch, which made it easier to see.

We are in Invercargill for just one day before heading to Stewart Island with friends and family tomorrow so we grabbed a cheap rental and hit the adlabs and any trads we found along the way. Great weather and lots of fun exploring Invercargill today. Thanks to all the COs. Difficult to locate but MrsNZT spied the hide. TFTC!

Found this one today however was exposed out in the open when we parked in the correct spot, was slightly tangled but managed to get untangled, SL and replaced the best I could, originally we were looking way to high so was surprised to see it was lower than we thought, this has been our 3rd attempt as the first we were in torrential rain , second attempt there was a car parked in the spot where it was situated and too many muggles around, and today was just perfect and was an easy find due to it being exposed. TFTC

Found after Guides

while i am down in Invercargill waiting for husband and son to re appear from their 5 day tramp over at Stewart Island i managed to visit quite a few of the local caches as well as some a little way out of town. I had about 3 DNF and this was one of them! but the success rate was very pleasing and i hope i have not got too many muddled.

No luck for me here today. Cheers

This was near New World. We couldn't resist making a detour. Jude-E and I are on a geocaching trip to the deep south. Instead of driving down from Christchurch we decided to get a cheap flight down. Thanks WindsorGuides for placing this geocache 7977 find for me.

Sadly there was no large event in New Zealand in 2019 but there are a few Mega events planned in Australia. New Zealand will have another large event in 2020 in Auckland.

On a 3 day caching venture with Nosynel. We have a few goals in mind, especially the TMGT caches and Bluff Hill. We came to find this as it was close by an open supermarket at 9.40pm. Nice quick find. Thanks!

Thanks for this Cache - I remember finding a cache in a similar location about 6 years ago with my son, and it was pretty special as it was our first geocache find!!
Great spot - and always a painted rock or two hiding around here too!

Thanks Kiscardi found this for me I was looking in the wrong place. Thanks to the guides for placing this cache. I have made connections with a geocatcher in the USA so I am heading in the direction to find their coordinates. Plus I am collecting some cache on the way.

I loved this cache and it was at a perfect height for me. I also loved that it was next to a playground because then I convinced Mum and Dad to let me go for a play. TFTC

Quick and easy find by the geokid, then he decided he might like to go for a play next door so off we went. TFTC
