Our 2nd DNF today
From the photos, we found what looked like the broken cache container on the car park level, and after 4 previous DNF's, it's probably time for a check...

Searched for a looong time but after reading logs my guess is that it has fallen down. There was alot of dead leaves and vines so I wasn’t able to search through it all.
We attempted this one a few weeks ago however an intense storm made it impossible to search. Glad we came back in the sunshine, what a cool spot. Would have loved to have seen the railway in action back it’s it prime. TFTC
Plenty of muggles around here... just channelled my inner Harry Potter "Accio"! And just like magic this Cache was in our reach!

The mum of the 2 kid newbies found this one! We were here for a quick visit and had a great time showing the Atherton mob what GC was all about. A fairly easy find. TFTC!
We're lucky to have kept a few caches to find on special days in our homezone, this was one of them. It was actually a much easier find than we expected. Happy international geocaching day everyone.

A fleeting visit Atherton once again before we head south. We love this area.
Seeing this one was up and in action again, We decided to make a detour on our way back to base camp and come in for the surge.
Who doesn’t like platform 9 3/4, or 9 1/4?
Like any Harry Potter fan, we put our heads down and just ran to GZ. And of course that yielded results.
Thanks Arachnauts!

Decided to do the Atherton Tablelands today during our week in Cairns. With so many recent DNF's we decided not to waste any time looking. Might be worth checking out.
Great Northern escape 2022 Day 45. Cooktown to Atherton travel day. I headed off after packing up in the rain and getting quite wet, but of course as I got a bit out of town it stopped raining. The Black mountain rocks looked very broody in the mist, and I dove straight past Lakeland. A quick stop in Mount Molloy and on past Mareeba. At last as I reached Tolga there was some caching to do. I moved onto Atherton and set up camp in a town van park and went out for a few more in the late afternoon. A longer day than I have had for a bit now.
A few holes and a few objects, but I did not managed to find anything except a few wasps, which 'just' missed me.
Thanks.

Reinstated. The location has been a bit damaged in the interim so the cache is not totally secure so please handle with care until it can be fully fixed. Happy caching
We left Mission Beach for a day around the Tablelands before heading to the Undara Lava Tubes.
While the family visited the Crystal Caves I had 90 minutes to do my own exploring.
Not sure if this one is still in place after reading the previous two logs. If it is, it was too pod for me today.
Thanks Arachnauts for creating and placing this for us to enjoy.

Couldn’t find this one. Very disappointed. From reading the comments and looking at the photos think we might have looked in the roght place but it wasn’t there?
Grey nomads, currently spending time caching in far north Queensland. We have had enough of Cairns and hankering to get back on the road again. Finally up on the tablelands, caching in and around.
Might be missing, photo to be sent to Arachnauts before logging my visit. Message back from CO has been received giving me permission to log this as a find. Definately has been muggles again apparently.

Tricky! Had actually come away from its location but once we figured out what we were looking for we found it.
Has a look around then checked activity with 2 dnfs, actually.found it on the ground and put back in a logical hiding spot at ground zero
Great unique cache!! Nice location next to the superb local IGA and a bike course for kids (pity we didnt have the bike with us). Couldnt sign as our pen went on strike in the rain, please see pic attached. TFTC
We couldn’t find it. Either we are really dumb or it’s been moved. Probably dumb.
Bringing my well-established passion for Harry Potter together with my new-found passion for caching, TFTC!
Have a favorite point for originality and great use of the environment.
1st time to the tablelands where it hasn't rained, fingers crossed it continues for next few days whilst we chase

Found with orth71 on a trip from Townsville to Tablelands.
Was intrigued given no train tracks evident.
Nice use of surroundings with some local art works for the cultured at heart.

We drove and walked to here, unsure why as it was just around the corner from our park but we did a town trip anyway to get our park. Didn't find our friend who had gone in search of coffee but the tasscrays did show up as we strolled along.
they stopped to search a likely area but we went on the GZ where ratdog made the find.
