Came looking for this cache today with some bits and pieces to replace the log in the hope it would help the CO get it going again.
Arriving at GZ, I was immediately drawn to part of a container sitting on the ground. Looking closer, it had the familliar geocaching sticker on it. Nearby, I found what used to be the log. It's now dry, but missing the other half of the container.
Sorry slgurney11, I tried but not much else I can do to save this one for you.

As other people have noted, the log sheet has been completely destroyed by water. Thanks for the cache
This was the trickiest find for me on this trail in the fading light. Finally made the find but log book was in need of some love TFTC
A bit tricky to find. Clever hide but unfortunately the paper was too wet to write on.
I followed the trail of caches all the way from the bridge this morning
Perfect strolling weather,
and a surprisingly beautiful wander along the boardwalks
This cache was the trickiest to spot [:o]
Possibly because I wasn't expecting it to be where it was
Cache found !!
The logbooks a bit damp though !!
Thanks for the excuse for some exercise today,
I'm sure the ringing in me ears will eventually go away [:o)]

18,126. Found during a lovely walk with minniek, Stardust2410 and 2 geokids.
A 709Km round trip from Goulburn to Merimbula to Canberra and back to Goulburn gave us a little time to grab some caches. I'd done the EC before but the 4 Trads were 'new' for me. Off we went and we soon had all 4 in hand.
Thanks slgurney11 !!

Headed down to Merimbula on a mission with fitY_1965, death_killer & my_name_jeff_1. That mission was to pick up Stardust2410 and take her to Canberra.
As a bit of a 'let's stretch our legs', we did all the caches along the boardwalk. A terrifying experience for me as I hate wooden bridges, especially when they move!
Log was mush on this one. A replace piece of paper has been put in but I'm sure that won't last long either.

Cute. Make sure zip lock bag is secured. Log was too wet. Popped in a piece of paper. Will need maintenance but good for awhile. TFTC
Very clever!! TFTC
Can’t write in the log, logbook is too wet. Needs maintenance.

First ever find. Good spot and well hidden but needs maintenance as water has gotten in to it
This was a little tricky as my gps really didnt like being in here, found after a few minutes, cool little hide but the logs like mash and needs replacing
Thanks for the caches in the series
Thanks for the caches in the series
This was a very clever hide, unfortunately we couldn’t record our find on this one. The container has let the water in and the log book was completely soaked. We replaced the cache, but it will need to be replaced. Sorry!
Our last find along the boardwalk. Whilst we found the cache, it was completely saturated and unable to be signed. Seems from earlier logs that it has been wet for a while, but the owner may have ceased caching. I will log a needs maintenance but I don’t have high hopes.

I thought I knew what I was looking for, but whether I was right or wrong, I didn;t find it.
Thanks slgurney11 for the cache, anyway

We tried to find this one yesterday but there were muggles in the area. Today it was deserted except for the hungry mossies and we soon found the cache. The logbook is saturated though and a more waterproof container might be in order. Thanks for this series. It was a very pleasant walk.
Our gps was all over the place so we scrambled around getting eaten by mozzies for a while... just as we were about to give up, obie01 had it in hand. Tftc
This morning we walked along the boardwalk from our hotel to the cafe at the end, where we had a yummy breakfast overlooking a beauitful inlet. On the way back, we got this small series of caches - it's been a few years since we've been here and this series wasn't published yet, so it was a nice fresh set of caches. At GZ, while dodging the mozzies, the cache was found after a few minutes - nice intentions for a hide, however it does seem a little damaged now. Log book and inside of the cache is also quite wet unfortunately. Regardless, nice bush area surrounding GZ - TFTF slgurney11!
Found the cache easily as container had been disturbed and opened. We put it back as best we could and dried the log book but might need some maintenance! Tftc
Such a great cache in a good spot!
Glad I wasn’t disturbing a feathered friend!

Mrs Aries and I are travelling north with our caravan and grabbing some caches along the way.
We started out on the walk and was advised by walkers coming the opposite way that the board walk was flooded due to a high tide and strong winds. We were able to locate the first cache before the flooding and found a way around this section of the board walk.

Which came first? The cache or the egg?! Super fun cache, the geokids loved it! A favourite point from us at the beginning of this stunning walk. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC
No luck for us this morning, plus wet leaf matter made us give up after a short hunt.
GPS jumped around in the trees but found it. PM TUMUT NSW travelling around Oz with my caravan and mountain bike
The hardest task with this series was finding where to access the start and the end so that we didn't have to walk one way and back to look for the caches. With a suitable starting point, one of us started the walk and hunt whilst the other took the car to a convenient spot towards the other end. It was a pleasant walk along the boardwalk with many interesting things to see.
As we approached GZ we were concerned that we found components of the cache scattered across the ground. Each component was in good condition. We did not suspect a muggle but that the cache had fallen from its hide location. After reassembling the cache we left it on the ground under some natural camo. A check ol the actual hide location by the CO is recommended.. Thanks for the cache slgurney11.

TFTC, it was on the ground and parts were scattered. Not sure if it was resident birds or muggles
Yay! My 700th cache, I loved this cache, very well thought out. Gets a FP from me. Had a muggle go passed us and he passed us going back the opposite direction and asked if we were bird watching.
I'll have mine poached please.
Left my pen in the car (bugger), so will call back another day to sign. The dog was pulling to get back to the car. Tftg (I'll be back )

Definitely the hardest of this series, but also the most creative! Twit-woo, twit-woo
After a previous DNF I was very happy to find this one. I'm sure the man with dog who wandered past was wondering what on earth I was doing. Very cute spot so it gets a fav from me. TFTC
Container and log book had been separated. Found them both and returned all to what should be the right spot.
I made it to the end of the trail! Or is it the start? Who knows!
After hunting around for the cache for a while, I spotted a ziplock bag with logbook, sitting in the fork of a tree. Also spotted what might be a container lid, or possibly just rubbish, nearby. I guess that's all that's left of the cache.. I have no idea how the hint relates to the hide.
TNLN - Thanks slgurney11!

Found the log and zip lock Lo ose on ground. Left off the ground but no sign of container.
Walked the boards to this one and had muggle friend along who seems to be close to being hooked, time will tell, Thanks slgurney11 for the hide and very clever, gets fav point from me. SL Cheerio 4 Now
Found with justjessie on a long weekend get together. Great day of caching thank you for the cache.
MY dad, my son (Yeah09) and I enjoyed a lovely walk along the boardwalk today and it was nice to find some caches whilst doing it as well. TFTC!
Found with Debandian on our Canberra Day long weekend tri. TFTC!

Took a little while, but was a good place to hide with minimal muggles about! Very creative hide! Thanks
After coffee we walked the walk hopefully before it got too warm for us old grumps. This one was a cute find thanks.
Found today whilst in Merimbula for a long weekend break.
Went for a walk along boardwalk, I didn't find Mayfair, I did find this cache though.

I love using geocaching as a recommendation list to find good things to go and see on holiday. That is how i found the boardwalk When I got to GZ the cache was unfortunately open on the ground but all there - we put it back together and placed it back where I think it was meant to be. Tftc
Give me a home amongst the gum trees.... Where else would you expect No. 1 birdy home. Nice. A fav for the hide and the series. TFTC.
We parked at the wharf carpark and headed off down the track with the wind now easing but still a bit fresh. We took the right track towards GZ only to see the GPS move around a lot. We searched at the first indicated site then moved around the bush before I spotted a really neatly hidden cache in the distance, many metres from where I had first searched but the GPS was now agreeing with it. Thanks sigurney11 for an excellent hide in the bush.
