Nice little find on the end of a big walk with the dog. Thought we found it straight away when we got there but turned out we were wrong but very quickly found it from that point. Tftc #119
What a place. We gathered up the last spots on our as lab and sat to read the panel while the kids put on a show in the theatre. Lucky other park uses is all I can comment. After we scrambling up the ledge Miss 6 found that the side door can actually just be opened - haha. We thought we could spy the location from far but nope we were wrong, bit with a good look around we spotted it quite swiftly. Clever camo! We didn't need to removed to get the cache out. Off to the fairy house I think, hope it keeps miss 6 moving. TFTC
There was a yoga/bootcamp/fitness class something taking place right at GZ when I ran past, and again when I circled back on my caching walk afterwards, so no chance of searching. I would recommend not looking for this one between 7:30am and 10:00am on Saturdays
Nice hide here. Have set up bands for church in this spot and never looked to see if there was a cache here haha. TFTC
Nice spot for the kids to play and climb for a bit. Another cool idea for a hide. Tftc.
Another great G_2 cache in a bold spot. This reserve is quite a busy place this time of the morning! Thanks for placing #3250
Excellent hide, and what a cool spot to visit - even more interesting in the dark I think! TFTC!!
Nice to shelter from the rain. Had a bit of a search, re read the hint then a nice quick find. Tftc
What a cool spot! Once again, another spot that geocaching has brought me to that I never knew existed. Thankfully I'm out tonight with a couple of Westies who are filling me in on the local history. Well camoed, and an easy find once the local muggles had finished their dance party on the stage. TFTC!
Great cache. Night time caching and found with Seattles best, Indiana Jill, sostephoh and Lui the dog
AWESOME place and placement! Love the G man caches. Great night for it. TFTC heaps & heads!
Too many muggles and gps is way off, looked for half an hour and still no sign of a bison tube
Didn't take Lina long to see this one, great hide though, we like the effort. Favourite from us.
TFTC. Did find this one last year however forgot to log at the time. Neat spot to come to, something a little different.
I enjoyed my time in Hobsonville today. Found a mixture of old ones and new ones. I went for a pleasant walk in the reserve. I enjoyed the creativity of the way the caches were hidden. TFTC
Nice quick find with very cool camouflage. This was such an unexpected location!
With rebel98 cycling around Hobsinville point, dodging the rain and finding caches.
Thanks for the hide

Great information signs. Glad there is an explicit hint - would not have touched the area otherwise, but with the hint Mr D found it immediately. All the bullet marks on the walls above!
We are visiting friends who recently moved to this area. After visiting the AL waypoint, I quickly found this cache. Very clever. Tftc
Clever disguise, good thing I work in the field and spotted something out of place. In great condition with a fresh log sheet. Found with Reny90
I was on the wrong side of the wall for a while bit then i saw the hint and went in, unfortunately there was some muggles there so i had to wait till the coast was clear. I couldn’t get the log out and the container didn’t have a lid so it needs some work. TFTC
M24: Like previous logs, log needs maintenance as it's in poor condition to sign. Hopefully this will still count as a find.
If it does, then nice and easy cache. TFTC.

Could not get the log out. Completely soggy and disintegrating. GPS somewhat out, sent us through the bushes at first.
In the area this afternoon for Mrs and junior to partake in a virtual 10km run around the point.....my job was to collect a few of the local caches ...this was the closest to my parking place, and a nice hide here....
Fav. point for this one...

This clever little hide didn't have Mr Geckoh fooled, took longer to extract the log than make the find. Very well done - another favourite point from us! TFTC

Day out with TEAM SEAC after too many lockdowns and as an O birthday surprise for GeoHusband when we were thebownehornet. The plan was to bike around and stop for a picnic lunch but what he didn't know was that NZ Iceman was ready to set up at the picnic stop so when we arrived there was cake and decorations etc. After lunch the plan was to continue biking and caching back to the cars. The weather was perfect, the company great...it just felt like such a normal day again after all the lockdowns.Updating my new geo account with unlogged finds as thebrownehornet, with keylev, NZtravellers, HeMaLuDy and etc, collectively TEAM SEAC and finally logging 14 04 2024 as NurseDr.
We had to wait till some young dancing muggles had finished.
Out on a ride with my geo caching buddies "Team SEAC". Great day out, enjoyed our ride around the area. Thank you for taking the time hide this cache.

Found whilst out on an adventure with Team SEAC.
Thanks for the fun and the cache.

A while ago a plan was hatched by Team SEAC members to have a group caching session around this area. A group of 19 of us biked and 2 walked a different route. We all meet up for lunch and a surprise birthday get together for one of the members. Mr HeMaLuDy is always a little sad when coming to this area as he remembers how it used to be when he spent some time here while in the RNZAF. Signed Team SEAC to save space. This was the fifth cache of the day and was a quick find. Our group got a little split up by this point and arrived a few at a time. Who know what the kids and parents at their dance practice must have thought. TFTC
Team SEAC organised and bike ride outing and decided to tag along. The day was good for it, with full blast of the sun.
Lagged behind with NZT but the clue was already provided by the near by performers. TFTC

Planned a biking day out with some of the team SEAC crew to secretly surprise Mr from the BrowneHornet who is celebrating a big birthday today. The plan was to bike around and stop for a picnic lunch but what he didn't know was that NZ Iceman was ready to set up at the picnic stop so when we arrived there was cake and decorations etc. After lunch the plan was to continue biking and caching back to the cars.
The weather was perfect, the company great...it just felt like such a normal day again after all the lockdowns.
As we parked the bikes up we saw the stage was full of children doing a dance class....well we can't disturb them!! However very lucky for us by the time some of the group had gone to the bathroom and then we found the information for the history adventure lab they had left the area and only the teacher was left.
We snuck up to GZ and the teacher wandered back on over and asked if she could help us so we told her we were on a scavenger hunt. She was intrigued and then left us to it. Soon found it - great camo that could have been easily overlooked!
Thanks for bringing us here and the cache.

Today we were part of a big group of Team SEAC cyclists enjoying the sun and riding around Hobsonville collecting caches. It also happened to be a 50th Birthday for one of our group so we stopped for a picnic lunch and surprise birthday cake for the birthday boy half way through the day. Had a wonderful catch up with good mates we hadn't seen for so long, and despite a couple of DNF's we enjoyed the caching as well. Thanks to all the CO's today. We signed as team SEAC on the logs to save space and time.
This was a fortuitous bathroom stop whilst some cute young dancers practiced on the stage.
After they had moved on we were able to quickly locate the cache. TFTC!

After months of lockdown a plan was hatched to gather Team SEAC for a biking caching session around Hobsonville as soon as we were allowed as it had been far too long for a catch up. The weather was playing ball today... although at some points it was too hot! Halfway round we had a picnic in the park to celebrate a birthday for a member of our team. All logs were signed Team SEAC to save space.
This was cache number 5 for the day which, at one point, seemed like it would be beyond our reach as there was a dance class happening right at GZ. Luckily, the class finished just in time for us to quickly get to the cache, TFTC!

A yoga group was in session in the grass area so needed extra stealth. Hint lead me straight to it. Another awesome camo.
Fun find on our double bubble geo-playdate. Very clever. Co-ord def threw us off though! Hint is everything
Walking around and around with The_Foxes. Reread the hint and wallah found the cache. Didnt sign the log but took a photo of the log.
You are very educational Glyn, besides bringing us to nice area you educate us in the history.
Thank you from Howard and Kath

Nice quick find having found lots of G2 caches in the past we soon spotted the something just a little different. TFTC
While GAR helping out at the dog agility event in Greenhithe I came to Hobsonville for the Arts trail adventure lab and maybe get some other caches in in the time available. Unfortunately, up to this point on the trail that has not been possible because of the Park Run event this morning. When close to GZ I spotted a likely G-2 hide and sure enough, that is what it proved to be. Great camo! FP.
Found it but would not have if not for the hint. I looked in the right place but the camouflage was too good! Genius! You were lucky the hole was slightly wedge shaped. Thank for the cache
Wow... That was a quick find and log with that hint... And another great G-2 cache
Thank you for the cache

Decided to use the Free Public transit day promotion to get around Auckland a bit. Ended up in Hobsonville, Takapuna and the CBD. Three adventure labs and around 40 caches found!
Not a bad day!
Thanks to all the COs for their placements!
Specifics on this cache:
Very nice camo again!

Decided on an evening out in Hobsonville, just for a change, so we had picked up a takeaway and decided here would be a nice spot to picnic. Once we'd eaten I checked my phone to find the closest cache and would you believe it we were parked about 25m from the coordinates. Competitive streak kicked in and I sneaked in the direction of GZ on the pretense of "getting a signal on my phone". Unfortunately my children know me too well and realised what I was up to.
Anyway before we started bush bashing I checked the hint and read the latest activity logs, then raced them to the stage. Much to the surprise of Daddypig123 I managed to get up on the stage before both of the gymnastic offspring and had spotted and grabbed the cache. Then sent Daddypig123 back to the car for a pen whilst we pretended to do nothing in case the muggles sat next door came to see what we were doing.
according to my phone the coordinates were 9m off from GZ.

Out here today meeting a friend for breakfast. Decided to have a walk around and check out some of the walkways. Very nice area. We had a wander around here very interesting. Great little hide, hint spot on.
OMG. 13 m off the coords my phone showed me. Took me quite a while of bush bashing, looking for the hint object... Not being a native speaker I ransacked my brain about the hint. What could he mean with a door? The hint made no sense to me all. Until I read the previous logs, then I changed my location and ignored the coords and had the cache in hand "soon". Proud of me, FP for ou for the nice creative hide. Tftc
Nice easy cache thanks to the good hint! Otherwise I would have been searching for ages! TFTC
Last time I came here there was a birthday party. This time some kids were pretending to put on a show. Luckily I came at the end of the performance. Wow, tucked in very discreetly. Very clever. Tftc
