Found the lovely plaque about the Faerie Queen and beatiful seat. Nice and quiet re school holidays and no one around. Could have a really good look. Found what we thought was a magnetic key holder but turned out to be a wedge for the seat.
I will check it in the next couple of days and I have only recently replaced it. I haven't been able to check it sooner due to leg injury but I am now up to walking that far.
Was stoked to find the new cache in this cool little spot and be the first name on a new log. TFTC
Cache replaced and this one has much stronger magnet. Please rehide so that magnet is on magnetic part of the seat.
Might need a CO check as popped here with a fellow cacher and they couldn't find it. So, checked the location where I had found it and it wasn't there. We checked around for a wee while and no joy. Maybe been muggled?
Spending time geocaching while Mr igot-it is at a nearby meeting. All nice and quiet and found after a bit of groping.
In Christchurch for our five year old grandson's birthday. I was dropped off to walk around this area to find some caches. Thanks lytteltonwitch for thei cache.
#17475. Second find of a lunch time bike ride on a warm, nor' west day. Quick find despite the presence of quite a few small muggles on the other side of the fence. TFTC.
Found, with the help of my boys, on our evening stroll. Been meaning to come look for this one for a while but every time I thought about it the time of day just wasn't right (school). Currently the boys are looking for muggles while fill in the necessary deets.
I needed a few finds today as 12 July is a low find day, and this cache and the one in nearby Church Sq seemed ideal for a lunch time foray.
Even better, it's the school holidays so parking was easy and the area was kiddie free (though there were a few pedestrians around which made slowed me down).
After a bit of groping, I found something interesting, but it wasn't the cache! Not sure what it was but returned as found. Consulted the hint, and that put me in the right spot, and a little bit more groping revealed the cache. Tricky to open, but got there in the end. Thanks, lw.

TFTC- quick find this morning as I am staying just along. The road from here. Up visiting for a bridge tournament today. Just time for a couple of caches nearby where I am staying
In Christchurch for the weekend and we happened to be walking in this area. A quick find here, fortunately there was no sign of activity around the adjacent school. Signed log, TFTC.
A quick find here, no school on and no other muggles on a late afternoon find.
TFTC lytteltonwitch.
A few days in the Christchurch area catching up with family in the Easter/ANZAC break and doing a bit of impromptu caching. Today’s main targets were on the northern entrance and out by New Brighton.
Thanks to all COs

20 February 2019 11:38 AM. I have driven down this street many times but never had a reason to stop to read the plaque or seat. TFTC lytteltonwitch

Without rhyme or reason my last visit here was a DNF some months ago when the cache had gone missing. A few days ago I was looking at the map and figured I'd return for another try and today I made a quick find! Nice to meet the CO last night...thanks Lytteltonwitch for highlighting this interesting location.
Quick sit n grab while MMR are looking in the nearby Salvation Army Family Store. TFTC!
Took a bit longer than expected - lots of cars in the area for a weekend. Good find
#6216. I have a meeting in Christchurch to attend so have come down early to allow the opportunity to pick up a few geocaches. Quite a few geocaches today have been missing or had recent DNF's. So pleased this one was still available. What an interesting structure and great to have a quote from Spenser. I actually read this for my English class a very long time ago. I hadn't remembered how the quote came about so interesting to see it displayed this way. Nice quick find. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache as found. Thanks lytteltonwitch for hiding it here. Lucky last find for the day.
TFTC! I love little information plaques like this one. GZ was quiet today as school was in session and it was raining.
No pedestrian muggles around so I was able to make a quick grab and sign. TFTC.
Lila and I found it nice and hidden this lovely sunny afternoon. No pen with us to sign but will remember next time
I arrived 30 minutes early for lunch and decided to see if a cache was near by. Lucky for me, there was. A nice quick find with few prying eyes. Tftc.
Out with TG to tidy up some town caches.
Thanks for the cache lytteltonwitch.

Wow that's a good fit, it wasn't what I was feeling for so took a little longer to find. Great place for a cache and relatively quiet on a cold morning. TFTC
Took a while and was quite embarrassed what a muggle saw us lying on the bench looking for it!
That took us much longer than I should have! I blame the gloomy overcast day.
I have finally replaced the cache. Sorry about the delay but I was in France when it went missing and then between the rain and a bad cold I haven't been walking the long way to work.
A clever location for a cache but no luck for me today. I did however meet Frank from the school who is a geocacher who mentioned that the cache had been found by a parent and it seems hasn't been returned.
While playing Pokemon in a park nearby, we thought "I wonder if there are any geocaches nearby..." and this one ended up being just close enough to grab. Thanks for the cache!!
Spotted in the first place I looked. Out caching with Will of the Wisp on our “around the world in 80 days” trip to celebrate our retirement. Greetings from England, TFTC.
Very clever clue, we liked it.
Dunno how many times I have passed this and never noticed anything interesting to look at.
Cheers and thanks,
S.t.

An interesting little spot- and clever clue. Thanks for bringing us to another wee place we would never have visited otherwise
Took the young boys for a drive and a cache or three today and they quite liked this one. Having to explain the poem on the seat made it take a bit longer, but that's what it's all about. Cheers
7727. Decided to have a challenge today and try to find some geocaches with no GPS, no maps, no cellphone and no hints! Read through the information on fifteen caches last night and set out this morning tech-less and paperless !! Attempted twelve and found ten, relying only on memory, experience and instinct. This was find number nine and a challenge. All I could remember was the street and the cache name. Parked on the street and looked for a likely hiding place. I could only see one possibility so went for it, and the cache was there. Sometimes you just get lucky! Thanks. Rodney.
On a bicycle it could be done during the day - especially if you try to look very exhausted and just take a seat... TFTC
We decided to stop for a few caches on the way home, well kind of on the way = not really but geocaching. We were on the roll and found six before we needed to join the traffic and head north. TFTC!!

Thanks to my bunged leg, this means that I now can't do the usual of run to work from where mum drops me off, but I need to be dropped off at the door earlier!! But baby girl is still in daycare till the same time, so of course this also means that I now can finish work an hour earlier - but don't need to pick my daughter up yet, so I can have a bit of spare time to go caching!
And of course mum would be on board with that too!!
However I am pretty useless to go caching with, as I can't drive in the moon boot, and I also can't really jump out and look for caches on crutches!!
Today though, we managed to have a pretty successful day! 6 finds in the hour we had!!
Another speedy one. Luckily school was out already!
TFTC!!

A nice quick find. There looked to be a wedding or some such on at the church. Cheers.
Back home in Christchurch for the weekend, and the time is right to find some plastic boxes that have been placed while we have been away. Thanks to All the CO's for placing the caches. Cheers.

Quickly located thanks to great hint. School hols definitely a good time. The Spencer Mountains above Lewis Pass draw me for similar links to the name
Considering the location of this cache, I knew that the school holidays would be a good time to search for it. GZ was pretty much deserted when I arrived, and I found the cache quickly. Returned as the hint suggested, as there had been a small bit of cache creep. Thanks for the cache.
Early in the morning and school holidays is a good time to grab this one. Quick and easy find of the clever cache. Thanks for the cache
Thought this was going to be difficult given the location, but today the school is on holiday so it was a nice quick easy find. Very interesting reading about the poem. Tftc.
After a DNF this morning I wanted a quick find. This took a bit of waiting for the coast to clear, then a bit of fumbling, probably observed behind some blinds. Ah well, got the log book signed. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. BJ25.
Today seemed to be the perfect day to find this geocache I had a day off work. The rain had stopped and my calendar finds were low.
Find out more about New Zealand's next big event [Oamaru Geofest](http://oamarugeofest2017.wixsite.com/geocachingevent) and come and join us.
Thanks. lytteltonwitch for putting in the effort to hide this geocache. This was find 5055 for me.

That was an interesting area and cache. So good to discover new places in our city. Thanks for the hide, Lytteltonwitch.
A nice little hide and so glad we went after school hours. Enjoyed the little story. Such a pity that that area has not been able to keep all those tiny "workers" cottages. It would have made a unique suburb in ChCh. Thanks LW.
On the way to give plasma and I was a little early so elected to nab a cache, looking at the map this one is sorta on the way. Arrived at the gz and the area was clear and school was in. Looking wasn't that hard. Nek minute cache in hand and log signed.

This morning I commenced my cyclocache ride from Horncastle Arena intending to bike the cyclepaths all the way to Hornby Junction Rd as it had been sometime since I last had done that ride. The main caching targets had been the recently placed mystery caches along the motorway cycle path but just as I joined that path I discovered that I hadn't loaded any of the final coords into my gps. So I decided to switch to Plan B and instead cycle the streets of Spreydon, Addington and Sydenham and seek out all my unfounds there.
Hey, what a lovely cache placement. I'm glad the Queen quickly paid the commission. Can't have pennyless poets, can we? Thanks for the cache lytteltonwitch.

What an unexpected area! Thanks for taking me there. Good hide, no probs. TFTC ( I think I put the wrong date on the log - apologies if I did, might have put 12 instead of 13th)
We left the car parked in Addington Square and wandered round the streets for this one. Very peaceful on a sunny Sunday morning. Have enjoyed reading the various plaques regarding local history. Sun didn't last long as a nasty southerly storm came through to dampen things. Tftc lytteltonwitch.
TFTC. Out for a few early morning caches before the Saturday traffic got busy.
I love this type of cache where you get a pleasant surprise at GZ. Great history.
A favourite point from me.
Thanks lytteltonwitch for this cute placement.

An interesting area and a rhyme to add to our knowledge. Another new place to add to our discoveries around Christchurch. TFTC
Stopped by earlyish' in the morning with the boys. Quick find and sign in a cool spot - love the hint! Can see how it could be busy at gz. As it was (a Saturday morning) we had to park over 100m away! Thanks for the cache in a cool spot.
The Hall closeby brought back great memories for me W.Barbara.I used to come to Dances here when I was a Teenager...Ray Columbus and his Band the Invaders used to sing here, well before becoming famous..
The Cache was quickly found after young Muggles has stopped play ball in the middle of the road, and moved off..TFTH

Nice easy find on a lunch time drive as this was just out of walking reach. So off I went for an outing. TFTH
I was at work on a night shift when the notifications started coming through. A bit frustrating as I knew I couldn't leave before 6am.
As it happened I managed to get away bang on time. Picked up a first to find at Wai-Iti stream then made my way here for another {FTF}.
