BlacknWhite suggested we do this power trail. We were going to try on push bikes, but my daughter and her partner laughed and said to take the E bike to lessen the chance of a heart attack. Heathcote Rd is far to dangerous for bike riders so I had to put up with the leg cramps from just walking to caches after driving along the trail. 6th findHad a great day.TFTC Miltsy92
OCW [Platyfly,](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=80a2adae-e405-45f3-8f78-92cf1a588444) our 6th find for the day. Many thanks for the cache and the adventure Miltsy92
Reperio 08:35I was headed to Sydney this evening for a 2 day course, and so it gave me a great opportunity to find a few caches along the way. I took in the little detour to do this series, and for the most part of it, all the caches were found, although most had wither wet logs, or needed maintenance in some way. With the series being situated along a busy road with not a lot of room to park in most places, the process was a lot slower than expected. All in all though, a good day was had.How many cache containers have a hole in the top? Contents wet with bugs crawling through it.Gratias Miltsy92As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV
I thought the container was a piece of rubbish but a few minutes I realised it was the geocache
Vse o cele serii u kesky GC6XTEF. spreeuv & kecaps from Czech republic, Europe. Děkuji za kešku, TFTC! 11:15 hod.
My husband found this one quickly which was lucky as there were ants all over the place on the way in >_
I remember seeing this trail take shape, and come out in dribs and drabs! I always thought it was a really unique concept with different people extending the series based on who found the previous cache first! Never had time to come check it out though!
Today I was in the area and decided to finally check out this trail!
But after seeing the single lane road with a 90km/h speed limit, busy with cars whizzing along and next to no parking except for a small grassy verge, I decided to only grab 2 caches in this series. The "Large" and the "T4". It seemed a bit dangerous as I was barely off the road. Not sure I will be back for more of these caches unless I am with someone else who wants to do them! Maybe a late night run with hazard lights would be the best way to do this series!

Out doing this power trail with VicRoadnight and MinimumChips, friends from work. I had met MinimumChips years ago, and we had been geocaching together in WA last year. Then I met VicRoadnight over dinner a few weeks ago when I asked if anyone wanted to go out to see the full/super/blood moon/lunar eclipse. We had a great day out together! Finally sitting down to log these caches in August as I travel around the country...
Found with queenk8 and minimumchips, nice and easy to find without GPS fully working. TFTC
Dan decided to cycle Heathcote Road to do these caches. He thought that it would be a bit easier than trying to park on this narrow and very busy road. Appreciate a quick find in this series. TFTC Miltsy92
Out on an early morning cache run with the team assisted others in completing their Sutherland Shire Cachers' Challenge. A nice quick find today. With the cache in hand, we signed the log before replacing it as found. Both the log and cache are in good condition. Thanks for the cache Miltsy92.

Out for a geocaching trail on a stunning Saturday. No 7 down. Love this idea. Pray for our safety with sat morning traffic!
Found on a perfect Winter day for a drive down to the Gong and surrounds.
Met up with fitzy65 and minniek for a fun day out and a big caching adventure.
A few good safe hides and not many muggles around.
Cache condition is OK/good.
Thanks for the cache Miltsy92,

20,875. Found during a caching loop from Moss Vale, Wollongong and up to the Sutherland Shire with minniek and our caching Mate from Wagga - Roostaman !!
I mentioned to Roostaman - who was in Moss Vale for a few days caching - that we were heading down Wollongong way for a few specific caches, and we decided to team up again for what turned out to be a pretty epic day. Heading up the highway now and we started the SSFTFH Power Trail. The traffic was picking up now and parking was 'fun' ! Bush-bashed to GZ for the find.

I have been spying this power trail for a while. Today was much cooler than it has been so I decided to take the opportunity to get as much of it done as possible. I got a good start today but after being covered in spider webs I called it a day. I’ll finish it off another day.
Quick find but it was full of ants . TFTC.

Well after a day at a conference today was my free day to grab a few caches around the Sydney area. My first target was the Sunderland ftf trail and after that the plan was to go through the suburbs grabbing a few caches on the way back to the hotel. Ended up with 73 for the day plus a few dnfs, which is hard work on your own.
Tftc and making my day so enjoyable.
The caches on the Sunderland ftf trail were brilliant. So much work into making some of them.

I found this Sutherland Shire FTF Hounds Power Trail trad cache with GeodudeAU. MM
Out this afternoon with SmudgeyCat finding the rest of the caches in the Sutherland Shire FTF Hounds Power Trail that I hadn't already previously found. Was searching for these as part of the clue hunt to solve the Mystery at the Museum puzzle.
Most of the caches were easy to find, though the 'hanging' ones were generally a lot more difficult. Due to the recent bushfires, there is some dead-wood undergrowth and black soot still on the stems and trunks. So a word of warning - don't wear good clothes, as they will get covered in black soot, and possibly scratched. Also drive, park, and walk with care along the road, as in some places there are big trucks rambling past just a few feet away. You'll probably need a good five hours to do the entire series, and four eyes are definitely better than two for some of the finds.
For this cache - read the hint, and then it was a quick find. Found with SmudgeyCat M. TFTC

While over from Tassie to attend the Gong OzGeo Muster 2019 myself and Goose of GooseandEgg we managed to polish off few series and grab some other random caches in our five days on the big island.
We flew out on Thursday night and arrived back in the apple isle late on Tuesday night, thanks for all the caches.
We normally try and get some old caches or D/T's we are missing but this time it was more about a couple of series and catching up with a few fellow cachers.

Another nice quick find while ducking in and out of the traffic along this busy road. TFTC Miltsy92 # 14,180
On the way back from the Gong, stainless steel rat and I decided to find some of these caches. We ended up only getting too. The road was incredibly busy, parking was dangerous and the bush was littered with rubbish. Not the fault of the COs I know, but we were put off so parked once and grabbed the two nearest.
Thanks Miltsy92
Thanks Miltsy92
I decided to take myself on a little drive along this road studded with caches - I could not belive how busy it was, I had to be very careful pulling off the road and back into traffic. Great set of hides, TFTC!!
Found at 10:09:02 AM: GAFF1 in the company of Alansee.
A bit tricky to get into the bush on this one which btw should berated a bit higher than a lousy T of 1.5. Was lucky to find this one quickly due to approaching it from the right angle.
Thanks Miltsy92

Did these in the company of pprass. The day started off iffy and steadily went downhill weather wise. We managed 16 of the series before giving it away. The cars and trucks didn'nt help either.
This was the last day of our current geocaching holiday in Australia, and so we couldn't resist the opportunity to make the most of the last few hours we had before heading off to the airport to fly back home to search for the first 26 caches in this series. It was a crazy road to cache on with the traffic being so busy and fast, and so with the close spacing of the caches it really felt like playing dodgems as well as geocaching! This one was a nice quick find once at Ground Zero. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
**Total find count: 742**
With a day off today, @crzymelly and myself decided we wanted to have a solid attempt at the Sutherland FTF trail. Our day started well, but the longer we went on, the more weary we became as the clues made less sense, and the parking became closer to the fast moving traffic.
The FTF trail concept is awesome, the hides were great (when found), but we weren't fond of the parking at many of them.

Tackled the 'Sutherland Shire FTF Hounds' powertrail today.
Pros:
Variety (users and containers)
Coordinates (pretty accurate)
Great to see the regeneration here after the fires!
Cons:
Dangerous road (100km/h, high traffic area, limited shoulder space)
Pollution (rubbish and car parts)
We were stopped by the Australian Federal Police, but after explaining what Geocaching is, they let us go on to continue the rest of the trail.
Thanks!

Find # 4032
Found with sesblocker.
Great coordinates made for an easy find. The cache is in good condition with the contents dry. There is not much of an area here for parking so was very cautious about the vehicles whizzing past at 100km/h.

With 30 in the FTF series, it was time to give this trail a crack. I had Team MavEtJu with me to lend another pair of eyes and hands and we made it from 30 to 1 in 3hr 15min. There were a few uncomfortably-close-to-speeding-traffic moments which does detract from the journey but it’s not really a park and grab scenario either.
Found the container readily enough, but it’s orientation was a little odd. No matter, log signed and replaced as best as we could.
Thanks Miltsy92 for being a FTF hound and participating in the series.

focus focus focus and with no distraction, found the cache without too much trouble. We are really enjoying this series although the traffic roaring past can be intimidating at times. SL TFTC
Decided to spend the Sunday out finding some caches, and the eye fell on this powertrail down south. Headed out and started the search. However, after ten finds we gave up, basically due to two things: The heavy traffic along the road we had to follow, and the copious amount of rubbish everywhere. We are sorry, but we did not enjoy these caches. Just to clarify; the caches themselves were of excellent quality, well designed and varied and mostly well stocked. The idea about FTF finders building the trail themselves is also a good one, but the environment put us off.
Found -- 11:20 am -- Thanks for the hunt and Thanks for bringing us here to this location *Miltsy92*.
**Cache Condition:** Good.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Swag - filled to the brim.
**Trackables:** None seen in this cache today.
**The Cache**
Found easily. SL and returned cache to its hide'y hole. I noticed how pongy it is along this road today, I thought there must be a tip nearby.
**The Day**
Woke up this morning bright and early and wondered what to do today - ah yes, I'll go geocaching, and why not visit *Seemyshells* hotel and drop off some trackables and run the **Sutherland Shire FTF Hound(s) Track**, so I bounced out of bed and looked at the sky, very foggy and overcast looking, but I heard the sun was going to shine, and shine it did.
Gorgeous day and quite warm while on the trail. Had four left to find, and desperately wanted to knock them off, but I know there will be more caches coming out and after missing this find I figured the remainder didn't matter - next time will do. Had to cut the day short anyway and urgently get home. OCW *DustyJapserJet*. Had a fantastic day !!! but when don't I when I'm out caching.
27 = 22 1 4 [8)] not attempted.

We parked exactly 113m from this one, and the next! So geoboyfriend went back for this one while I headed for the next, until scrambling was required so together we went. There is some water in the container for this one however the log is dry.
Tackled the Power Trail on a sunny Winter afternoon. Managed to grab all 23 posted to date. Thanks.

7 off 8.
Today marks 8 years since I started caching and I decided to mark the event by finding 8 of the FTF Hounds Series caches about 16,000 km from Wien (Vienna) in Austria where I made my first find GCPPBQ - Alte Lasten (Old loads) N 48° 13.375 E 016° 24.622.
A quick find along the side of a very active road.
Visited a group of trackables.

I've attempted this one today with the car
It was quite hard stopping along this narrow road, there seemed to be nowhere being able to stop safely
A CITO cache event would have been appropriate here, there is so much rubbish everywhere here
Thank you

I had a big day of caching plan up north at the mysteries for the OZ GEOMUSTER but it was going to be far to hot and I wake up exhausted from hard week at work so I took off south from home. I started with some on the Alford Point bridge and have worked my way around to here number 1 on the power trail. I'm after numbers because I want my 2000th find to be the muster at Easter. TFTC
I just loved all these caches they were different and interesting to find thanks to all the wonderful Cachers who have placed them. One thing I hate this type of environment and on a hot day I was even more scared. But all was good.
Fav Point from me.

Found with WaywardWoman while out caching today. Parked the car at the other end of the road barrier and walked back on the inside of it. Thought it would be somewhere and as we got close realised it was somewhere else. Soon spotted something and WW retrieved the log. Signed and returned as found. TFTC
#4504- Out caching the trail with thomo31 this morning. By now the police, who I am sure wondered what these two crazy women were doing, were long gone and we were hopping along Heathcote rd happily, stopping as close as we could to the rest of the caches as traffic was getting heavier.
We wondered about the cache inside the other container. Should we have left a donation? Thanks
