Rattll and I are heading south for the GeoToroa at Dunedin, but first spending some time caching around North Canterbury and Christchurch. We started in Cust this morning, and have landed in Rangiora this evening, but covered a lot of kilometers in between. We were on the bikes for this trail, but at GZ here, lots of the trees have been felled and removed. I think this cache has gone.
Our last walk in the sunshine before flying off. thanks NZ its been awesome!TFTC.
Located with Ricardinho Second bike session of the day This afternoon we are doing a wee loop track on the cycle ways near the Waimakariri River. It was a lovely afternoon ride but unfortunately I didn't bring my Telfast hayfever tablets & dry grass played havoc with my allergies! Coordinates were a bit out on this one, but RNZ spotted a likely spot & bingo, located it TFTC
Obvious item, I think the coords may have been a bit out for me on this one. Still easy to track down. All good. TFTC Kiwi864Our second trip for the day was out here. We again brought our bikes and cruised the easy grade tracks collecting smilies. Just the one we did not get, we will come back one day for that one.The rest were pretty easy finds. Thanks for the caches!
Found laying on the ground. Put into what we consider to be sneaky but CO might want to check we've done it ok. Tftc
Another great day to be out and about, taking in some fresh air, and finding caches... Cheers
I had an hour spare before I needed to pick up a TradeMe purchase in Burnside so I figured I'd grab a few caches to fill in the time. I got eight finds and one DNF and was only half an hour late - I call that a win!
Funny how getting "a cache, then the one only 300m away, then the next one is close" can add up to quite a walk. Apologies for the cut & paste Kiwi864 (pretty sure they were all yours).
New bit: this was the first find of the day. I *was* going to say the TB is missing but now I think about it it may still be there (I assumed it was swag and left it there).

Great series, thanks for hiding them. Happy to have found this spot. Thanks
We were out with busy paws biking the track and looking for caches. A fun titled series. Thanks for this cache Kiwi864.
Team BOP on another crazy mission again to the South Island. Lockdown gave us a lot of free time that we directed into Canterbury’s many Geo-Arts and with the Auckland 2020 Mega postponement, Christchurch was an easy decision. Team BOPs current incarnation is DavidsonClan, NZFlossy, McJandals and myself and we’ve signed all the logs as Team BOP to save time and log space.
So Labour Weekend 2020, it’s a numbers mission and today we're here having a wander round. This cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords, a straight forward placement and a good hint. There were a couple of options here but eventually found the cache in a logical spot. Cheers Kiwi864 & TFTC

As Auckland Mega has been postponed we decided to do a trip south to Christchurch. Four of us from Team BOP joined up to share a car and accomodation. I always love these weekends as the company is great and makes our days and nights out caching lots of fun. We have done lots of puzzles in preparation and did some long windy roads to get them. Found lots of great caches and thanks to all the COs for the effort that goes into these Please excuse the copied logs and I will try to make some individual notes on as many as I can This sort of trip is where I find the cachly app very valuable. TFTC
With the Mega Covid cancelled this year a part of Team BoP decided to come south and try get all our solved puzzles, and some others along the way. So here we are!
I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these cache. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers.

On a mission to the south after mega in Auckland was canceled. Team Bop booked airfares and here we are. Thanks all COs for your efforts. Due to numbers please excuse copy and paste logs in advance.
I had two bites at this one.
The first time I saw fluro approaching from a distance, so left it till I finished the loop, and got it on the way back, and this was the last for the day, so many thanks for all you hiding efforts.
Cheers,
S.t.

We're walking the track today. Did pass a few bikers but mostly had the place to ourselves. TFTC # 15,378
Staying north of the Waimak for a couple of days of March madness.
The Passchendaele Trail complete. A few found around Kaiapoi and now I've crossed the Waimak to bike around Coutts Island.
Another quick find.

Oh I must listen to that title again, as with many songs I always know more about the melody than the words. As for riding across the river - - - not today thanks. Too busy caching .
A quick find and I am now sitting in the shade to have my lunch of mint and marmite sandwiches- yes I am aware that it is an unusual sandwich filling
We got this at the end of a caching day as the sun was going down, after parking at the locked gate near [Where The River Meets The Sea](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC7BE9Q_where-the-river-meets-the-sea-canterbury). A quick find here and cache in good condition. TFTC!
As we had run out of daylight yesterday there were plenty more ‘River’ caches up for grabs so we are back again to maximize our return of caches for the Mystery of the Museum souvenir hunt. We parked at Where the River Meets the Sea and decided to walk the loop but to the car. After yesterdays walk I already had a blister forming from my gumboots so wanted to walk the track in shoes today but there was a HUGE puddle the full width of the road so I walked through in gumboots and then changed into my shoes for the walk - this meant that I would be carrying my gumboots for the loop. A nice quick find here and even better it had stopped raining. We were very joyous to be able to see the car and know our walk was nearly finished. Thanks for the effort involved in placing and creating this series for all of us to enjoy.
This is day five of a ten day trip down to Dunedin and back to move my daughter there so she can get her master’s degree at Otago University. I am now heading to Christchurch and staying for two nights.
I came down to this area to do a few of the series. I parked nearby to do five of them before moving the car to minimize walking. TFTC.

Out for an afternoon walk. In the hot hot sun and I forgot the sunscreen and sunhat.
Out doing a recon of these caches before we bring Cubs and Scouts caching here next week. TFTC.
#7900. A lovely sunny day and Iris was at a seminar all day so I put the mountain bike in the back of the van and drove out to do some of the Waimakiriri trail caches. This was cache find number twelve of twenty one finds today - this one while walking with company. Found by me after a very short search. Thanks for the cache. Rodney.
I needed to find several caches today to bring my find count for 22 Sept up to 20+ and some unfound Waimak river caches were ideal for this. Accompanied by StreetWalker (who had already found most of them on a few solo missions), we went for a walk after visiting my mother in Rangiora.
Another spot where I went one side (the wrong side) and Sallies went the other, and he found the cache. Had to watch your footing here with all the branches on the ground. TFTC.

I've been staying in Christchurch for the past few days. I had to come down for work, but I decided to stay for the extra day to get a few geocaches and to do the Parkrun this morning at Pegasus.
Its been a nice few days. I got a lot done and met a lot of nice people. However, I'm also looking forward to going home. I should be there in time to watch the Test Match between the All Blacks and Wallabies tonight. Win, win, win!
This was the eighth cache in this series that I looked for. Again, this one was a nice easy find for me. It was exactly where I stopped to look. A dog came up to me while I was at GZ. I did not see the owner, but I heard the person whistle... and so did the dog!
The cache is in good condition. All nice and dry.
Thank you

We have had such a fun outing- but time to head home. We will be back for the next batch very soon. Thanks so much for a lovely series
#15858. Again the hint object was pretty obvious. I expected the cache to be at the base of it, but I couldn't see it there. Then I spotted it a few metres down the bank. Yay! I placed the cache at the base of the hint object at the base of the hint object. TFTC.
Have replaced container and log due to dampness issue. Also dropped off TB to continue its journey....
