We missed this one on our way up to the Tip, so thankfully I remembered it was here on our way past when we headed back down. A great place to stay.
After making it to the Northernmost point of Australia from Melbourne we are now on the return journey south. Before heading into the Tourist Park for the night to camp we stopped at the entry to locate the cache. With spot on coordinates it wasn't long before Mrs Pooky had the cache in hand. TF placing this cache for us to find on our travels.
Kiwinic and myself are on our way south after an Awsum trip to the tip, all apart from getting our car broken into last night it, was brilliant!! A quick lunch stop at Bramwell roadhouse we continued down the road heading for Weipa. But not before stopping to grab a couple of quick hides and pop some more smilies on our maps! TFTC
Great little hide! TFTCQuick park and grab on our way back from the tip with Hally4
On our way to the Top caching where we can as we go.As we have way too much going on with dropping our van at Hann river and swapping to our 3 second tent, we havent downloaded any of the caches and of course there is no internet in the area and we end up at the roadhouse thinking its there. Its not.Looking at the map I can bring up us and the green dot which is 6.8ks away.As we are waiting on the other people we are travelling with we decide to head north and grab it.Hmm we are headed away from it.A quick ubolt and we head south past the roadhouse again. Its getting closer, good.Back through the road works and we end up at the entrance to the tourist park and not far from the green dot.A little back and forth gets us headed the right way and Buttons calls the correct location. We sign the log and head back to the roadhouse to wait for our friends.TFTC Venimus, Invenimus, Signati
We had another try when we stayed back at Bramwell Station on our return from the cape. Made it to the top, all the way from the NSW south coast. Thanks, great hiding spot.
Didnt have internet reception so couldnt find this time. Will try on our return
We stopped by the Station on our way to the ferry for a late brekkie / morning tea. It certainly looks like an impressive setup. Looks like a great spot to stop for a few nights if you have a decent sized convoy to take advantage of the bar and entertainment. We had a look through the history hut. The picture of the Ute crossing the bonnet deep river is quite impressive. We grabbed a few shots of the car next to some of the massive termite high rises. On the way out, we stopped and grabbed the cache before heading further north. Thanks for the cache!
Wow, what a trip! Cape York, Cairns to the tip!!! It's been a great fascination and long term goal of mine to visit Cape York but driving it, and seeing as much as I can, was just amazing and a trip of a lifetime. A nice cache hide in here, was cool watching the cars passing, fully covered in dirt from the top. Can always tell those returning.
A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT.TFTC. A nice quick stop. Great to see the clean cars heading north and red dirty ones going south.
There were a number of muggles here but not near where we needed to be. The cache was quickly found in a traditional hide. Our acronym was added and the cache returned as found. Thanks for placing this for all to enjoy.
This was a nice quick find in a manner that we were familiar with. Thanks for placing this cache for all to enjoy.
About a year ago, Swellerfungus invited me to join a trip to Cape York that he was organising. I have been to the Cape by boat in the late 80's, but I thought it would be interesting to return by air and land.
With other commitments for the first prt of their trip, I opted to fly to Bamaga and join the crew. After a few days exploring the Cape and a trip to TI, the road south now beckons.
After a night at Captain Billy's Landing, we headed back to the PDR and then south again. Having heard along the grapevine about the nightly entertainment at Bramwell Station, we decided to make this our next camp heading south.
On the way in to the Station, I stopped and grabbed this easy park and grab cache.
With a big group, we were allowed one of the shelter sheds to set up camp. Dinner and the show was most enjoyable and the crew all let their hair down here.
Many thanks Lijanchilly

I missed this one on the way up, as when I checked the location, it was 6klms back, so we decided to pick it up on the way back. Today was that opportunity.
We came by on the way through to stay the night at the tourist park. We are looking forward to a great nights entertainment. Thanks for the recommendation. Cache found quickly, signed, and returned.

On our way to the tip of Australia. We stopped at the station for a good night's rest. Busy little place, not as full as it could be. Last station before the top. Quick find here. TFTC

Departed Melbourne a couple of weeks ago and travelling north for the winter, well, for the northern warmth actually (hopefully ), passing through as many small towns as I can grabbing the odd cache here and there as I travel.
Finally made the northern warmth and I'm loving it
Heading north now, Cape York bound! Heading for the Falls for some swimming and 4x4'ing today and tomorrow.
What a great dinner and show it was last night
Grabbed this one this morning as we headed out, another quick find.
A nice quick find in good condition.
**Thanks for placing this cache Lijanchilly**

We are on a Bucket List Trek, from Busselton, in the South West corner of Australia, up to Cape York, Australia's most
Northern land point.
We are travelling through several iconic tracks, through the Gawler Ranges, the Oodnadatta Track, the Birdsville Track, the Bloomfield Track and the PDR Track to Cape York.
As we meander across this awesome country, we stopped here to enjoy the scenery, check out the history and wonder what life was like here all those years ago.
Thanks to the CO's for adding to our journey as we head to Cape York.
Thanks

Sorry late log.Stopped here for stretching leg and an ice cream of course cache. Thanks for place cache here.
Replaced.
The old cache was still there and still very findable it was however wet.
Not sure what others have or have not found - all a bit weird really.
- photo of old log attached.
Unbelievable adventures and fun times – that's what this trip is all about. Australia's diversity has blown us away, and Cape York, with its crazy rough roads, has a special place in our hearts. Our second trip to the Cape, part of our first lap around Australia, and we've almost hit 92,000km in 2.5 years. Prepared for the worst, but ended up with smooth roads up and crazy rough roads down two weeks later. Nature's beauty surrounds us – lush rainforests, sandy beaches, and hidden gems everywhere – Cape York is an absolute stunner! Memories to cherish forever!
Big shoutout to the cache owners who made geocaching a fantastic part of our journey. Sorry for the copy and paste logs, but with so much ground to cover, it's the best way to stay on top of them all!

•219• Aah stuck down there couldn't retrieve. Nice campsite, stayed the night, found in the morning. Continuing our journey down south. TFTC! -Fly
Nah, this one has fallen down the hole and wasn’t able to be recovered.
I contacted the CO about a fix on my return visit with no success.
I contacted the CO about a fix on my return visit with no success.
According to a photo in a past log I was at ground zero, I even saw what looked like the retrieval tool hanging on the fence but I couldn’t find the cache at all.
TFTC as we head south from the tip - had eyes on the cache but it’s dropped so far down after the wire snapped even with tools on hand could not retrieve to sign the log book - can forward a photo to show we were at ground zero

Trip to the Tip, day 5. Found with LuLuRu14. Really enjoyed this one! Roads are all in good nick, if a bit dusty! Red road dirt coats the vegetation on the west side of the road. TFTC
Found it TFTC Found in good condition. WOW spent the night and what a night, highly recommended it. The entertainment was great, going to miss Normie Rowe he's here next week.
Quick easy find on our way into Bramwell station after reaching the tip and having a wonderful holiday we are now on our way home…..Thanks for allowing us to add another one to a collection
Busy intersection, with campers coming and going, but managed a quick grab and sign without drawing attention. Great to have a cache to mark our journey Tftc
Found during a trip from Adelaide to the northern tip of Australia. Traveling up solo through central Queensland, I met up with e.gregory1 and a non-cacher friend near Cairns for the rest of the trip northwards, finding caches along the way. Thanks for the cache Lijanchilly!
After taking three weeks to meander my way up from Adelaide to Cairns on my own, I met up with FeatherWaite and another friend to head further north to Cape York.
We spent a couple of days at Weipa, then continued on our journey north. This was a quick find as we passed by on our way to Captain Billy Landing.
Thanks Lijanchilly for the cache.

what an adventure from adelaide to the the tip of cape york, such an adventure. we thank all cache owners for adding to our adventure and most of all making it such an amazing way to explore as we drove through this fantastic country side. TFTCSL
We parked the caravan and walked to gz. Nice to be this far north with corrugations in front but many behind. Thanks for hiding sweet hide. As with any of these remote caches we are completing maintenance as required. Fav
Traveling from Coen up to Bamaga this morning on a work related trip and stopped at the entrance to Bramwell Station for a leg stretch and a look for this cache.
I have stopped once before but couldn’t locate the cache then. Today, after a look in a few potential spots the sneakily placed cache was located.
Log signed and a few more hours of dust and bumps to traverse.
Thanks for this hide.

Tricky hide but Luckily the geo-hubby was paying attention.
We stayed at the tourist park on our way north and it is a great place to spend the night. Highly recommend to go and listen to the owner’s talk as Well (if he is around). TFTC!

The mini rats have been away on holidays with the Rats on another fantastic family holiday. We made it all the way to Cape York and along the way we found this cache. Thanks for adding to the thrill of our holiday.
Sorry the log is a standard template style.

The Rats and mini rats have just returned from an amazing 6-week adventure to Cape York. Along the way we had time to stop and grab a big handful of caches, some of our finds were in the remotest parts of Australia. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing your cache, you've all contributed to us having a great holiday. Apologises for the generic log.
Grabbed this cache before spending a night at the station.

On a Cockatours tour of Cape York with my friends Muff1. Picking up some of the few caches we can get to while on a conducted tour. Great opportunity for this one as we stayed at the camp ground here at Bramwell and enjoyed their live entertainment. Thanks for this cache.
Thanks Lijanchilly for the cache. It’s #1076 for us. We found your cache on 15 August 2019. AVENGED OUR DNF!! Thanks to CO for getting this one replaced while we were up at The Tip. Definitely wasn’t here when we passed by on our way north.
Lijanchilly, we didn’t find your cache today. Sorry, but it wasn’t for lack of trying though! A group of us searched everywhere for this cache - unless it’s very cleverly hidden (which last year’s logs indicate it is not) then this one has gone awol. I’m going to log a Needs Maintenance to get the CO to check this one as too many people can’t find it.
OK !! Having replaced the cache,
and completely fooled Bunkshyde with the cache replacement
(Or did they just log this cache on the wrong date ??)
I will claim this cache found,
after Bunkshyde have found it,
but not admitting to any coaching or help !!
So a 'smilie' traded for a replacement.
Not a throw down !!

I passed by this spot again today, heading south.
After a message from the CO telling me where the cache had been hidden,
I checked again, and it seems that it probably attracted the attention of a muggle magpie
So just after lunch today,
I replaced the cache with another 'bison'
Hidden in a way that isn't too obvious,
except to a cacher .... I hope

Cruising up the road today,
I stopped here at the turnoff to Bramwell Station
A cache find was in the offing
But the trade-winds blew no 'smilies' my way here
Pretty obvious where this cache should be hiding,
somewhere on the fence posts.
But like others before I couldn't find it
I'd be happy to trade a 'smilie' for a bit of cache maintenance on me return trip,
it the CO agrees it is AWOL
There are few 'nuff caches up this way to see one disappear [:o]

I had a look for this one on the way up to the tip but found nothing at the GZ. I have a fair idea of where the cache would have been hidden. I will have another look on the way back down in a few days if I get any ideas from reading former logs. I had another look on the return trip but I really think this one has gone.
First cache of the day as are heading up to The Tip of Australia and got signed and returned same place and fav point for placing here! Awesome trip! TFTC
On our way south from the tip.
Smaller than expected.

Found it in a place different to what we expected on our trip to the tip! With ShearingLinc, SynapticJunction and ChloeandBel!
Found with Cape York 2018 crew of ChloeandBel2488, CardiacKelli and Shearinglinc
Cant believe that we are only the STF on this cache. Streams of people are coming past here as the track is really busy today. We were going to camp at Bramwell Station, as we had heard it was really nice, but it was too early to stop. Made a quick find of the cache and continued on our way. TFTC
Found on the way south after the spot was crowded (they almost sat on the box) when heading up north.
