Out and about in Rocko while getting my windscreen replaced on Dixon Rd (broken on a caching run near the hard hat tree out the back of Collie). I had three hours to kill, so it was time to get the MTB out and ride and cache.

Earlier this week I asked urch if she had started collecting any of her mythical creatures. She didn't know what I was talking about, and a plan was soon hatched to remedy that situation, despite the weather trying to stop us. We both looked at where we should head for, and this Lakelands seemed a good place to start, being our closest to home not found. From there we continued on northwards, stopping here and there as we looked for caches that neither of us had yet earned our smileys. After having a yummy lamb souvlaki for lunch, was nice to get out and stretch our legs as we tackled this series. This was the first one we tackled, and weren't sure what we were in for - micros in the bush can be nasty things to find. But we found them all eventually. This one was found some distance from where the gps units were indicating. The critter has detached from the container, but still there. Signed our names, noted the info, replaced cache as found and continued on to the next one. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for the rest of us to find CJ_252.

Teamed up with Barnzy12 and Cravo10 to do this series. Bit concerned about the long grass we were walking through but no slithery creatures were seen. All the critters were found with one or two that took a bit of searching. It was good to find an ammo can at the final but be careful as there was a lot of bees at GZ there. An enjoyable series TFTC CJ 252

A nice day out for caching warm but not too warm.

Headed out to civilisation land to grab a few caches we've missed on previous visits. Got three caches in but was a bit worried about snakes with the 80-100m walks into the bush so gave it in after three caches.

Headed down to wellard to meet up with OOH YEH To team up and grab the new critter series in Hillman. Was a rough walk through the area, lots of prickles and alike filling shoes and socks and finding a bunch of micro caches.

Terrain was a bit snakey but all ok and managed to make a find of the final quickly in a bit of an unexpected area. Thanks for the series.
