Time for this one to go, it's been the victim of works in the area a couple of times.
This will open the area up in case someone else wants to hide a new one nearby.

Forgot to log yesterday, had a decent look around, but new footpath suggests that it may have been disrupted.
Due to the path development works, GZ and the cache are not currently accessible.
Once the works are complete, I will replace the cache.
Sorry folks.
Once the works are complete, I will replace the cache.
Sorry folks.
The footpath is closed as it is being dug up, we spoke to the people working there and they said that the works would be finished after Christmas.
Not sure if the cache was affected by this but it’s likely.

Footpath closed, maybe disable until works are finished then check up on it?
Scraped into the ferry queue with two minutes spare, but the ferry was full so had half an hour to kill - yes a cache! Quick find. SL. TFTC.
This was the first cache on our list for Bruny Island today. Parked up at the bus stop and then walked back down to GZ. Had to wait for the ferry to leave before we could grab this one.
Nice to start our trip to the island with a nice, easy one.
Thanks.

T-Tech and I are down from Brisbane for a meandering holiday around Tasmania. We flew to Melbourne where we picked up the campervan and spent a day caching there, then took Spirit of Tasmania I to Devonport. Tick that one off the bucket list!
Today we are travelling from Longley to Bruny Island. After taking the ferry across we parked up nearby for a coffee and to watch the ferry depart. A couple of minutes later I noticed this cache on the map, so we wandered down to grab it. Just as we reached GZ the cars start to move to board, so we had no trouble making the find. TFTC, EeePees.

Not much time to waste the ferry arrived just as I drove up. Quick dash to grab the cache and take a photo. Thanks for the diversion.
On our way to the mainland. While waiting for the ferry we managed to log this one.
Thanks for the cache!
Leaving Sweden in the beginning of January, passing Singapore on the way to Australia. Then visiting NZ before flying back home via Dubai. A trip of almost three months. Fantastic scenery and nice people along the way.

Today, it's the 9th day of my trip in Australia and in Tasmania.
A long day awaits me. I wake up early this morning at Hobart and took my car in direction of Kettering to get the Ferry to Bruny Island.
In Bruny Island, I'm hiking the Fluted Cape Track at Adventure Bay. Amazing hike to do. This views are beautiful there.
After I've gone to the Lighthouse, breathtaking views also there. And I finish by the Neck lookout, the most well known view if this island.
After that, I take back the ferry and I've gone to see the Mt Wellington. When I was driving there is some rain and it was foggy. But when I arrived at the top, I was surprised, I've been above the clouds and it was sunny . Amazing thing.
When I was waiting the ferry to come back to Kettering, I've done this cache.
It was quickly found .
Greetings from Belgium.

Last one on our Bruny Island visit Long line of cars but quick find at this location (we ended up second car on the ferry - probably shouldn’t have stopped to look for dusky robins a second time!)

Found it when staying at Hobart, on a trip to Bruny Island, during my motorcycle holiday across the marvelous Tasmania.
As we got stopped here to wait for the ferry we thought what better way to kill time than to find this cache, the cache was a nice and easy find. Cache and contents are all good.
With the new year at hand JL Rockstar and myself decided to head down south from Launceston to Bruny Island to attend two event: A CITO and a normal event that followed.
Along the way there and back we stopped on the odd occasion to pick up some caches.
All in all a great day out to start the year and a total of 22 caches were found.
Thanks for the cache.

A quick find whilst waiting for the ferry. TFTC Today was supposed to be 40 degrees but it was a pleasant day and ended up cool by late afternoon. So Tasmania.
With friends 3 weeks on the road to explore Tasmania and South Australia. We experienced great landscapes, people and animals. By the way, many caches were also visited. Thanks for the great impressions.
Will spend a cupple of days on the beautiful island of Tasmania. Found this Box before leaving Bruny back to the main land.
Vielen Dank fürs legen und pflegen und beste Grüße aus Leipzig!

TaurusSix and I came to the ferry terminal while staying on the island. We waited till a ferry was filling up to get the cache, before the next queue started.
Now bending down to tie a shoelace was pretty funny. Trying hard to find a cache without dem muggles watching.... priceless!
Thanks for the entertainment:)

Hi EeePees
Had little I could do today after dropping Mum at St Johns for dialysis; so used the cache mobile as transport to Kettering
Took the ferry to Bruny as a pedestrian and then made my way to TP7908
Once that cache was found, hurried back to this cache and to catch the next ferry
I Sainted it at 1115 hours
By now, there were people everywhere and cars lined up for miles
Should I or shouldn't I?
Yes; STEALTH will win the day and it did
Just had time to put my name to the log before they started loading the floating platform
While at the other cache, had a sea eagle fly over the top of me - about ten feet higher than I was - what a great experience; so putting all experiences together I'd had a great morning
So thanks to you and Alby for a memorable caching trip
TFTC and cheers

Visiting Bruny for a first time and we found our first cache here as well together with @yorkiehappy. Thank you for a lovely cache!
Over on Bruny Island to take some family members around. We had about 20 minutes before getting the ferry so we thought we would get this cache. A quick find by the geokids, hopefully noone in the long queue of cars noticed. TFTC
Thank you for the great little cache.. our first on a day trip to bruny. We have been wanting to find one of these!
We decided recently it was about time that we did some caching on Bruny Island. As ‘bear’ had a RDO and the weather forecast was so good, today was the day. There was only a small queue waiting for the 2.30 ferry back to Kettering and so the bear walked to GZ on the pretence of getting a better view of the ferry docking. Loved the cute container, I can’t remember seeing one of these before. Certainly wasn't a waste of time for us as we were also lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins swimming quite close to the shore, so that finished off a most enjoyable caching experience today. Thanks for the cache EePees.
Today my friend, Runsis, & I ventured over to Bruny Island for a few hours doing a bit of sightseeing & caching...
We had just got off the ferry and waited for the traffic to disperse...
Grabbed this one as the ferry was pulling away from the dock...

Hello EeePees thank you for the cache.
I had been intending to come and find this cache of yours and to find a nearby trig for a long time now but hadn't got around to it.
As I needed to give you something and you had hidden two new caches I decided to add this one to the mix.
I walked straight onto the ferry as they were that busy they were running three ferries today.
After finding the trig I only had to wait for the next ferry to unload before getting back on.
As I waited I sat down and places my drink bottle next to you cache and picked up the cache, signed the log.
It was then just a case of putting the cache back picking up the drink bottle, having a drink and taking a photo, all done with a que waiting to get onto the ferry.
I walked onto the ferry and walked to the top deck and was talking to the captain as the cars loaded. Once we were under way the captain invited me onto the bridge where we had an in-depth conversation about survey markers. I then found out he knew my late mother. A small world.

What a difference a day makes, the third DNF's we had yesterday were actually easy to find today. Easy find today after crossing over to the island

Revenge is sweet. Ont of the first three caches that were DNF's yeterday. They were easily found today by The Marathon Man and pnutbeagle
We had more DNF's versus Finds today - 3 vs 2. This was one of them
Reading lof=gs I found out what the cche container was, but still did not find and there was no rock of matting there.
There had been some recent grass cutting and cleanuo in the area - Did the cache container also get cleaned up?

Hello from Canada, eh?! We are from Nanaimo, located on the east coast of Vancouver Island, on the west coast of British Columbia, Canada’s most western province.
We are spending a month visiting your beautiful country, with stops in Hobart, Bicheno (to see the Tassie devils and penguins), Melbourne, Great Ocean Road, Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, Cairns, Port Douglas, Daintree Rain Forest, Great Barrier Reef, Brisbane (with a George Ezra concert), Byron Bay, and finally Sydney with a play (Blanc de Blanc) at the Opera House!
Today was a tour of Bruny Island, where we sampled muffins, oysters, wine, beer, honey, fudge, had a fabulous lunch at a winery and finally a whiskey tasting! Oh and those fabulous Bruny Island cherries! YUM!!
Thank you so much, EeePees, for adding some geo fun to our trip! We nabbed Canada’s 1st geocache in Nova Scotia last August and we plan to nab Australia’s 1st cache in Sydney before we leave.

Nice quick find while waiting for that ferry. Dropped tb. pen died so took photo of cache log. Thanks
Tassie Trip Day 81 - After some fun in sun and some great caching we needed to make the trip to the top of the island to finish collecting the cache that can be collected for us on this wonderful island.
The time was not wasted but the ferry was in and unloaded at the time of arrival and after walking down from the carpark nearby we stood and watched for a while and after some time the GPS settled and the cache was soon found with a quick grab it was in hand. The log signed and all returned to where it came from. Didn't want to do whilst waiting for the very so it was now or never.
Thanks EeePees for placing this cache for us to find.

Visiting with the family from Melbourne and we had brought the car over on the Spirit and did a week of touring around Tassie. After heading from the island over to the (Bruny) island with a social cricket team we had a played a great game against the Bruny Island Penguins nearby. This was my last stop before heading back to the ferry across the channel. We were only about a dozen cars back in the queue so had plenty of time to wander and look for this one before we boarded. A quick find in a likely spot here. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache EeePees.

Found by JJ52 while I was looking for a toilet, very easy find, but hard to be stealthy with carloads of muggles waiting for the ferry! TFTC
#756, 2018-11-15 at 15:12, TFTC. We had exactly 29 mins to wait after narrowly missing the ferry. Easy find and a welcome waste of time.
We had time to waste as when we arrived the ferry had just left but we wouldn’t have been able to get on as there were still cars queuing. We’re queued straight across from the cache so off I went following the instructions to the letter even so I felt that all eyes were on me..... well what is there to do when you’re just sat there then watch some weirdo playing with their shoe under a bush?
Mission accomplished but not before the little ammo box had trapped my finger, tiny but vicious!
Have a favourite for the laugh.

A day on Bruny Island for a few caches, quick find after the ferry had loaded. TFTC
We arrived in time for the 5pm ferry back but it was full and more cars waiting so we knew we had half an hour to find this cache. We wandered over to GZ and took a few photos between sneaky glances for the cache. We found it soon enough and logged it still while the 'new' ferry just sat there fully laden waiting for the correct departure time.
Back to the car and I made us a coffee and we both touched base with home and then cleaned up the back of the car.
Last one for the day, thanks EeePees for making the wait much better.
It was a toss-up between Bruny Island and Mt Field today. In the end Bruny Island won out, although a few times during the day I muttered ‘should have gone to Mt Field.’
Stainless steel rat picked me at 6.15am with the plan of coffee at the ferry terminal and over on the 7.30am ferry. We arrived a little earlier than expected and drove straight on to the 7am ferry. That was great except we’d not had coffee! [)]
We headed south, once we hit the island, to beat the tourists stopping briefly for Alonnah five-0 for SSR to find, and then at the shop we grabbed coffee and sandwiches from a couple of nutcase women who obviously thought their continued sarcasm was funny. This kind of behaviour happens a lot when I’m out with SSR!
After a bit of investigation of some new caches, we decided a 5km paddle in the blow-up boat was just too much, so made a beeline for the lighthouse at Cape Bruny and from there worked our way back north and back to the ferry.

we had driven passed this cache as we arrived so had to do it on the way out, we turned up with a que for the ferry and the boat full so were lucky to have time to kill, as the boat was leaving we took some pictures and found the cache too. Thanks for the last cache of the day.
Myself and Goose had talked about a Bruny Island trip for a bit now and with the publication of some new caches the other day the trip was brought forward in our caching schedule.
So today I was our of the house before 6am and ready to pick the goose up at 6.15, with a good drive down to the ferry we just made it on to the 7am sailing, being the last car on.
After a full day making our way round the island, getting some nice finds and a few DNF's well not DNF's we gave up on a few before we event got to GZ, we managed to get a space on the 5.30 ferry back and were home before 7 for once
Thanks to all the CO for the caches.
