My absolute pleasure, I love visiting Strath. I was down here the other week for the event and got to clean up a few I hadnt found. Today I visited again to tidy up the remainder, and get a couple that will help my DT grid immensely. Thanks for the cache, easily spotted and everything is in good condition here. I rarely come to Strathalbyn via this approach, so made the detour to cross this one the list before working my way to the multi. A bit of a surprise find here - I didn’t think that could possibly be the cache with that colouring - just as well I checked.

I was FaceTiming with my friend Meg and decided to go for a wander!

Collecting some of the geocaches around Strathalbyn before heading off later in the day with ilook4geo. We found all we looked for and signed each log before all was put back as it had been found. This was one of the caches we found on an enjoyable morning. Thank you to MooskaMouse for placing this cache.

Spent the morning caching mostly in and around Strathalbyn with goingplaces2. It was a successful run and we saw lots of different parts of the town. Was happy with the smileys to add to the caching map. All logs were stamped with two more names where possible. TFTC.

Day 8 of our trip away, staying at Strathalbyn for a few nights on the way home from the Millicent Mega.
53 finds for today and 578 for the trip.

Full time nomads exploring SA, currently staying in Strathalbyn. Out and about today using Geocaching as our tour guide.

Rex and I were privileged to attend our awesome dog trainer's home today for training[^]
Rex loved playing with her dogs[:X] and he also showed her how well behaved he can be in someone else's house[^]
He swam in the dam with her girls[:X] and played beautifully with her non desexed boy[^][^]
On our way home, I needed fuel[^] and some caches and so we headed to Strathalbyn where we completed the adv lab there[^], fuelled up[^] and then made our way to muggle partner's house to say a quick hello[:X] before taking Rex home so he could sleep[|)][|)]

We did a bit of caching.

We had a good look around where our GPS told us to look and found nothing. We extended the circle and we spotted the cache in moments. SL TFTC

Easy find

This afternoon after work, I headed to Strathalbyn primarily to complete the new *Bletchley* series, but also to visit a few others around the outskirts of Strathalbyn and in the town itself. It was a free evening for me, but one of the worst weather wise - most of the evening it just drizzled and was damp, and walking through sour sops and weeds had my runners drenched by the end of the night.

Another of these *Thanks for visiting Strath* series geocaches ticked off the list. It took a little time to find the right access into this cache, but once I did, the cache somewhat stood out (due to its non-camouflaged colour). The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks MooskaMouse for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Look for the red container

We wound our way along the road from Macclesfield to Strathalbyn, such a pretty drive. Nice size container and found at good co ordinates. We must spend more time in Strath, there are more caches here than we have time to find this trip. We always make time to stop for pizza at Ruffinos though, it's got to be the best pizza we have had. Mr Kookacrew lived here quite a few years ago and it was his favourite meal out.
The area around the river looks beautiful this time of year, the Rose's are blooming, the reeds have been trimmed and the lawns mowed, even the ducks seemed to appreciate the cleanup.
Thanks MooskaMouse for the cache,, we must scoot out next trip and find the rest of your caches. We replaced the cache safely away after stamping the log sheet.

Hi there MooskaMouse. Today was a Geo-day with the event in Mt Barker the prime reason. We went to hahndorf first for brunch and then to the event. On leaving the event we travelled towardsStrathalbyn finding a few caches along the way, before returning home to Mitcham. All together - a very enjoyable day. The container and log are in good condition - SL. Thanks to MooskaMouse for this cache - our find # 6323.

Pretty sure I found the old #9 when it was in the stone wall meanwhile I’m pretty sure a neighbour spotted me from the house across the paddock! Nice orange dressing gown, lady!
