Found it, sat and listened to the traffic. Very bizarre hearing cars and trucks overhead. Still a nice but different spot. TFTC
M, J, and G mini adventure to Auckland. Found by M. Signed log as TBA. TFTC
Mrs Biggles and I are in Auckland for a few days visiting daughter's family. We came over to Northcote to meet some friends for lunch. Time for one or two caches first though. This one wasn't quite where I expected it to be but was found in the logical spot as per the hint. TFTC, Biggles.
Never been down here before. Certainly is a really nice spot to visit. Had a nice little walk around exploring the area then came over and grab the cache. Thanks for bringing me here. Tftc.
Used my phone camera to look and avoid touching unnecessary goobies! Found it quickly. Nice contraption. TFTC!
I can't begin to think how many years ago it must have been since I was last in this area. Not the kind of place that you just happen to be passing by unless you are geocaching. Thanks for bringing us here....or maybe it was the pub that brought us here and we just happened to be passing by....
What an amazing spot to visit, it gives you a whole new perspective of the bridge and brings back great memories of late 1970s nights at Fishermans Wharf restaurant, & their utterly fabulous Crayfish Mornay. Yum! Thanks for bringing us here : -)
Out showing the grandchildren the view under the Harbour Bridge. Great place to visit. The area is having improvements done. The area around the cache is well clear of the work area. Nice hide. Thanks again G-2.
**19,267**Another quick find here in the early morning but still surprising how many muggles are about. Cache was nicely concealed. TFTC
Up and over the bridge with ABCDF4 and eyespyben. We had parked down the bottom and made our way up the hill. The others had collected this one previously so as I was signing the log they were giving me directions to where it was hid. Too late. Cache in hand and signed. Thank you for the placement.
A quick find at this fantastic location after doing a loop and not taking GPS advice, but got some more great photos on our detour. What a magical winters day to be out and about caching on the Shore with Lis's Crew. TFGC
The plan this weekend was to head to Auckland Friday evening with Yvettetb. Saturday we had a lovely day caching around the Northcoate area with great Harbour Bridge views from all over the place. Sunday we went geocaching in the Riverhead/Kumeū area.
We grabbed this traditional after completing the nearby virtual. I absolutely loved being under the bridge. We didn't follow the GPS here we so did a bit of a circuit before arriving at gz. A quick find then. Thanks for your cache in this great place

Never been to this side of the motorway before, a bit of a cold wind today, cache damp but OK. TFTC
Found a week ago and forgot to log.
We grabbed Mcdonalds from Quay St and drove over the bridge, looking for a spot with a view.
We enjoyed dinner here, then grabbed this cash as soon as the construction workers had disappeared!

spent 6 great weeks in New Zealand with my The start was a bit bumpy (Cyclone Gabrielle) but then it got better and better. We travelled to both islands and discovered a lot. We photographed and filmed many beautiful things, but most of it stayed in our hearts.
Almost everywhere we stopped, a cache was already waiting for us. Most of the caches are well maintained and easy to find.
With mostly very nice weather, we saw a lot of this impressive island. In many places, caches were waiting for us, which were sometimes easy and sometimes difficult to find. This cache was also included and was successfully signed
We puzzled a lot in advance and the tours were well prepared
So this box was also well found.
now I have another on my personal cache card.
many thanks to [^] **G_2** [^] for the effort and the cache

The weather was starting to look dodgy so sent Daddypig and Granddad back to the car. Made our way across to here from the nearby virtual just as it started to pour down, so really glad it was a quick and easy find.
The rain stopped 2 minutes later.

Quick park n find. Amazing services below the bridge. I could be here for hours looking at everything. Found with Reny90
Cool little cache design this very clever thanks for showing me this awesome spot! Walked around from Hinemoa Park around the bay stopping for a few cache searches along the way. Shame there's not a harbourside path going right along but it is beautiful nonetheless. Awesome spot tftc
Very interesting to wander around the footings of the harbour bridge at Northcote point and enjoy the views. Quite chilly in the shade of the bridge. Nice quick find at this one thanks.
Took us longer than it should have done. Great spot to come to and amazing views. TFTC
Great spot, and good views across the harbour! Quite cold and windy when after extensive searching and exploring the youngest searcher decided they needed a break, found a place to rest and that was the last clue we needed!
Out with Squirrel In The Middle this morning to get a few Shore caches.
She had already done this one so kept lookout for muggles while I hunted and retrieved the cache.
Cheers for the cache.

Found it quite easily in the one larger metallic object.
Thanks for another cache!

Out today after some errands to grab a few caches. I have been meaning to head down here for a while now, so took the time today to go for a walk.
This one was in the first place decided I to look, but only after my second search here, after wandering off due to not feeling anything. I did a sanity check again and decided it had to be this spot, and this time I had the cache in hand. Thanks for the cache, and the interesting area. #1400

Sat for awhile in the wrong place and looked to my left (I do a lot of that) to see something clearly magneticable. Very noisy spot but so magical.
My phone battery took a nap just as I was nearing the cache but remembered the hint and found it no problem. Tftc
Nice little walk around the point. Pretty cool seeing the harbour bridge from below. Nice and easy cache TFTC
Always wondered how to get down here to this end of the bridge, and today I found out. I parked low down and headed up to GZ. I struggled initially to spot anything sticky enough for the hint, but soon enough reached under and extracted the cache. All good and replaced as found, as per hint.
Called in on the way back from work and a balmy 21 degrees in the area today and the sun nice and warm. Managed a few finds whilst on my mini-mission and some caches in and around the North side of the Harbour Bridge were todays target. Thanks to all COs for their placements.

QEF after a mother's day lunch nearby. As I was signing the log my brother grabbed the container and tried to throw it into the bushes but thankfully it was retrieved and put back as found. Very cool being so close to the motorway. TFTC
Off to Northcote to check on a location for my new cache, so did a few caches while I was here. Security guards tried to dissuade me from going any closer to the bridge as there were some work crews there, but I said I was just going to use the walkway down to the Point, and they let me go. Luckily a large van was parked there, so they couldn't see me retrieve this nice little cache. TFTC.
Lol. Tricky. Great hint. GPS was going all over the place so relied on the hint and previous comments
Yes noisey today neat hide. I've been here many times looking for different caches. It's a stunning view
Grat views and interesting place under the bridge. Lovely houses in the neighbourhood, but not sure if I could cope with the noise. TFTC
Nice quick find this morning in the beautiful sunshine. Haven't been down this way for a few years, and at least this visit wasn't anywhere near as taxing as the last....victim recovery drills from the middle of the underside of the bridge...Interesting work but somewhat challenging on the body and mind...cheers V.
Sat down and grabbed the cache. I signed the log and then I replaced the cache as it was discovered.
Thanks for placing this cache

Enjoying the trip north and the caches

Nice find with woolwood9 today.
*We enjoyed the drive / walk around the area.*
Stamped logs as tm/ww NZ which may just look like a black smudge on plastic logs!
TFTC
*Great location, we initially looked in the wrong area but then saw another possible spot. Co-ords are fine and cache found in good condition.*

Found this one as I was nearby and with some spare time, as I always wanted to go under the bridge that was a very good opportunity to visit and find some caches of course, I really enjoy there. Very nice view.

Quite easy to find even tho we went back and forth under the bridge a couple of times. But right where the location took us. Thanks
We found it on the ground not too far away from where it probably should have been. Very windy around here this afternoon. TFTC
We all managed to take some leave off work in the same week so we thought it would be a good opportunity to hang out with the niecephews and Poppy and get out and get some fresh air. The little ones hadn't been under the bridge before so thought we'd go and show them what the underneath looked like. We had a fun little afternoon complete with the full circuit around the harbour. Thanks for providing us with something extra to do along the way
Cool find....not too spooky tbh...great night time views of the bridge and Auckland city.
There were a few muggles here this afternoon. Had to wait till they were gone before searching. The hint was very helpful. Thanks for hiding G-2.
What a cool spot! Stumbled across this one while driving around last night, following my nose. Like you said, a tad spooky in the evening, so came back this afternoon knowing there'd be a cache nearby. Got to observe a number of boats on the harbour today as well. A nice easy find, TFTC!
Out for a caching session in a damp and blustery afternoon. Time to clean up some caches in the home territory. Neat upgrades to path and lookout since we were last here Tftc
Not much time for caching today, so just a quick outing to Northcote Point. Can't remember the last time we were under the harbour bridge. They have made the area very nice around here. Quick find. SL. TFTC.
Hallo, auf der Rundreise durch Neuseeland auch einige Caches mitgenommen.

As soon as we got out of the car, we knew where it would be and bingo. A quick grab before admiring the view under the bridge. Tftc.
Over this way to ride bikes and play on the fire engine at the Jean Sampson reserve. (If anyone knows of a playground with a fire engine closer to Three Kings / Mt Eden do let me know). Anyway, of course noticed the cache here so wandered down here for a look before heading home. Yep, great views of the city, the harbour and the underside of the bridge. Thanks for bringing us here!
Started here at wrong spot. GPS was bouncing. Moved a bit away and spotted right GZ. All good here. TFTC
We arrived early after having breakfast nearby and had the area to ourselves.
After locating the cache and signing the log we walked to the commemorative plaque and enjoyed the unique view. Thanks G-2.

I was here visiting a friend in Auckland and she suggested visiting the area and check for a any geocaches. I put my GPS on, and indeed there was one here. Managed to find it straight away and TFTC.
Started out at 3.30 in the morning (all good plans start when it's dark!) The drive north was fantastic, virtually no traffic all the way through Auckland to the North Shore and in the company of Cats & Dragon's. We found our first cache at 4.30am and cached hard out untill lunch time. The weather held out for us, with the occasional lite drizzle. A fantastic day, over 60 finds a few DNF and a big hole put in the area.
Thanks to all the CO's who placed their cache for us to find and thanks for the great day!

Today was a chance to head out in the company of McCutchen Cache Clan for a little bit of a hit out around Takapuna and Northcote/Highbury areas. So trying to make the most of the day (and in that what I really mean is to avoid both people and traffic as much as possible. We headed up early and were actually caching just before 5am and were all over by noon so that we could get home to our families.

Having set myself a couple of personal caching goal for the year (or at least whats left of it) I thought I had better crack into it and start collecting so that hopefully the last 6 months of the years is far more productive than the first 6 months.
All in all a great morning was had and we managed to stay dry. Not too many DNF's, a couple of unattempted's as not able to get to them and plenty of founds. A few of the gully's that we traversed were very muddy and so was suitably grateful for the decision to bring the tramping boots to keep the feet dry.
Great collection of caches and some very clever camouflage by the usual suspects. So all in all 65 successful finds today with what the time allowed. I apologize for the rather generic logs but it was a bit of a rushed trip so things started to blur into each other.
Only a last few to go, legs are starting to get tired but not too many options for this one
Thanks to all the CO's for their contributions, thanks for the cache.

After attending Brain Week event at Auckland Uni this morning the plan was to head to the shore and collect quite a few caches towards the hidden creatures souvenirs. We only ended up finding 4 as we got waylaid at the bike park at Onepoto Domain which is always fun for the geo-kids.
This was the second of the day and wasn't quite sure where we were going but soon found ourselves in the right spot. Didn't take too long to find the cache and we were on our way.
Thanks for the cache.

Just going for a drive with a mate, exploring Auckland, took me to one of her favorite haunts, got to surprise her with this wee cache! She was super impressed so that's a win!
Thanks for the cache
Thanks for the cache
Felling fit and well - no rain, so it must be geocaching time. Nice drive to GZ and even better stroll to look at the view. Interesting writing on the bridge pillars. T4tc
After a fairly unsuccessful day out yesterday was hoping for a bit of a better effort today and started with this one. Super windy out but no rain which was the main thing and after a short walk up the hill the cache was soon in hand. TFTC
#3 now, what happened to #2 and #1? I guess as more and more caches go missing, we'll be up to #20. I wonder if I'll still be caching then! I'm seeing this type of hide quite a bit now, very effective it is., it is, it is. Nice one G, always enjoy the view from around here, I must come at night, could be surreal!
Just stopped here to check out the lights on the Harbour Bridge, realised there was one really close by, haha almost decided not to cause its dark and G-2 caches can be hard to find at times. But found it straight away which has to be a first. Found by xx.Tara.xx and Ash.
Got some cool pictures aswell. T.F.T.C =D
