Enjoyable walk out to GZ, have been here before.Clampered down for a fruitless search down below, so back up top where I was getting no where.Sent SOS! to the CO, but soon had CIH at GZ. A very sneaky hide but once, the hide was spied, cant mistake the hide, thanks Kavaju

Tried, but too good for me this morning. The bush is in flower and is absolutely beautiful at this moment

A nice short walk out to this very picturesque spot. We were a bit too early for the sunset but it was still very colourful out here.

It took us ages to find this cache. With the rewritable reading in mind we kept coming back to the same few spots but ended up searching all over the place. Just as we had decided to pack it in for the way we took one last look around and saw the glint of s container. After digging out the container we finally spotted the camp as well. It wouldn't have been the worst thing to have to come back to this spot, but it's still nice too have masses the found first go around.

Thanks for the cache!

Absolutely loved the rock formations out here. So many different formations in the plateau. Cache was a quick find. Not sure how it could be peaceful, with the roar of the freely. So prominent. TFTC.

Great camo, good to grab a local cache.

Found today before heading off to do some other hiking caches, had a nice walk out to the cache, though the find is nice and sneaky.

Joined up with a great group of caching friends this Sunday and this was the first on the agenda. I initially spotted the camo as looking a bit fresh but disregarded. Then MM also spotted it and actually made the retrieval. Nice little hide. TFTC

We found ourselves back on the Central Coast today, for the second weekend in a row, walking out to 'Where the Sun Sets' with Mighty Minions, unicorn princess, Banj5150, thus_bruv^1, The Geokrew, Stefanoodle and barefootjeff.
We got ourselves to GZ, and finally found the little cache, neatly tucked away in a more D3 style in my opinion.
It is a nice area here, and would be great at sunset, for sure..... TFTC!

Found with a great group of caching friends, Team 737, GeoKrew, BFJ, Mighty Minions, Stephanoodle and TB2. A bit of a tricky hide, but MM soon had cache in hand. TFTC

We opted to find a few caches on various bushwalks on the Central Coast this Sunday, and met up with a very pleasant group of like-minded cachers this morning. This was the first of three caches for the day.

It was a gentle walk from where we had parked to GZ. With all the chatting we were at our destination before long, and then the hunt for a container could begin. We did a bit of clambering around on the rocks, but the T-rating did alert us that it wouldn't need anything strenuous.

After a few minutes of searching the cry finally went up, and the container was retrieved from its hiding spot. Excellent co-ords, and very nicely hidden. Definitely not a casual hide and find.

The log book did the rounds and we all added our names. Then the cache was returned as found, and we could head back to the cars from where we could plan the next walk and search missions.

A perfect cache to do during the COVID-19 lockdowns. Hasn’t been found for 8 months and you need to do a bushwalk. Hardly any clouds. Beautiful spot, stunning sunset, fun camo, an easy FP decision. Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC!

Sun was in fact setting so into the glare went I for a wavy ramble over some beautiful formations

Thanks for the ‘setting’ and the museum fingerprint clue as well

Cache checked. Re-hid it better. All good.

Wow. That took way longer to find than I’d like to admit. After looking all over GZ especially down in the rock we were all ready to throw in the towel. Raising my gaze I started looking for things out of pace and noticed a camouflage I was expecting. There it was. Where the GPS told me to look in the first place. Really loved this one. You get a heart from me.

Out for a walk today. Don’t know why I have not picked this one up as yet but needed today for my calendar days. A very easy walk in and out and a quick find.

After much casting about our guest spotted something that didn’t quite match the surroundings! Good hide with just enough to let novices like us make the find. Nice job

Mr Minion and I did a last minute car swap at 5am before work this morning. After work this afternoon I parked at the parking waypoint , Then looked down no pen , I searched the entire car no pen. My car must have at least 10 pens floating around in it but nope not a single pen to be found. I then realised I had given the last of my change to my daughters for school last night so no money to go buy a pen. I couldn't drive the hour home and then back again so i started walking to the cache hoping maybe someone had dropped a pen nearby. I have never not had a pen before . I reached Gz and found the cache quickly with accurate co ords. I then found a bit of charcoal of a burnt tree and did my initials with that. triple checked cache was replaced as found, took a few minutes to enjoy the view. I loved the waves in the rocks and then went home to have a little talk to Mr Minion about this no pen business. Thanks for the cache Kavaju tnln sl

I've been here many times before, just for a walk and also searching for the now archived lost teapot cache.
This time, I remembered to bring my GPS and have a search.
Arriving in the area, I immediately went low and had a look around but to no avail.
Then I raised my search area, but still nothing! Bugger!!
Step back and have a think and just cast a beady eye around. That looks out of place!! Eureka!! Cache in hand.

I needed to find a New Years Eve cache today, so decided it was time to return to where, like others, I had once been invited to have a cup of tea.

After parking in the same place as last time, in between the two suggested spots, I made my way into the bush along a familiar track and soon reached the moonscape like landscape I remembered from my last visit ... except that it is currently much less moon-like in appearance! I was quite surprised to see how much vegetation had sprung up in the 2 years since I was last there thanks, I guess, to all the wet and warm weather we have had in that period.

Arriving at GZ, I was initially attracted to a very suspicious pile of rocks even though this SPOR was in a >t1.5 location. After satisfying my curiosity (and confirming that it was indeed just a pile of rocks), I made my way back up the rock face to where my phone's GPS was pointing ... and there, something suspicious immediately caught my eye, and soon brought a smile came to my face ... and to my geo-map ... Smile

Thanks for placing this cache here and bringing me back to this interesting spot kavaju ... and also for providing me with the means to qualify for the souvenir on offer from GeocachingHQ today.

Happy Christmas!

This is the first time in 4 years of caching I’ve done a cache on Christmas Day (I wonder why), but with us having our extended family celebrations on Christmas Eve this year it made it easier to come here today as a ‘side trip’ from Newcastle to Maitland to visit some extended family... ha ha thank goodness for free fuel from work. Kids definitely earned a scooter ride in the park for their patience!

I had originally considered this for my planned Christmas Eve cache, but the walk was a bit long in the twilight and it had been a hot day and I was worried about legless guardians in the dark and all I wanted was a drive-by anyway by that stage. A shame though as in hindsight I may possibly have got to watch the end of the sun set.

Instead I left it for the next day. Enjoyed the walk. Saw some awesome yellow tail black cockatoos. Made a quick find because the coords were super accurate. A fun experience. The rock platform is quite interesting and reminded me of the one out near Yengo where there is also a cache. TNLN TFTC

This is a great spot, and after I found the previous 'teacup' cache I came back here with my son and a mate of his, we found some wooden wheel and had all sorts of fun rolling it over all the weird shaped rocks. Came back again today around noon for the easy and enjoyable bushwalk. Bumped into a nice lady walking her dogs who warned me that there might be snakes about. Didn't see any though.

Took me longer than it should have to find the cache, but found it in any case. Nice hide! Signed log. Love the rocks here. TFTC Kavaju!

Pretty cool to be #3 in the find history. Great spot on our doorstep. The edwards fam will def be back for a picnic.
Took a while to find, great camo and after checking the area found it back at the start where the coords said it would be!

We love this area too so headed up there this afternoon, although I would recommend the short walk on a cooler day. Once in the right area we left our pack and water in some shade, then walked over to GZ and poked around for quite a while before I checked out something and found the very well hidden container, definitely not easy to find. Thanks Kavaju for another great cache in a top place, and an excellent one to mark another century of finds for us. I would have liked to stay for the sunset but it was just too hot today, probably even too much for the local fauna which are known to be in this area.

FTF at 4:38pm.

Earlier on I'd been doing a post-school-holidays check on my Patonga caches and thought that'd be the end of the day's caching activities when this notification came through, so close to home I couldn't resist going for a late afternoon drive up Woy Woy Road.

A few years ago I enjoyed coming out here for a cup of tea at the seaeagles cache and it's good to see a new one replacing it in this pretty area. At first I didn't see anything obvious where my GPSr was pointing and, thinking it'd be a similar hide to that older one, explored the general vicinity for a bit before returning to where the device was pointing and spotting the neat camo.

Sadly it was too cloudy, and probably a bit early, to take in the sunset so maybe I'll have to come back again for that.

Many thanks for the hide and I eagerly await the next one in the series.
