Found it! Hunted around for a few minutes before spotting it hiding up there! A quick climb up and the log was retrieved. Thomas did the honours of replacing the cache. TFTC!
Took a little while to spot, but found it eventually and enjoyed the climb up.
Out with cccl23 targeting a few tree caches, this being one of them Quickly found and log signedTFTC
The climb wasnt as bad as I expected.I enjoy a good tree climb.Favourite point awarded allister w, I found Stillwell Park today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.
Found it, but being many thousands of kms from home and the first day of our holiday decided not to risk the sketchy stretches between the top branches. Next time, maybe.
Checked this cache today and found it on the ground. It is now back in place ready to be found.
I was down this way for work and had left early to attempt this cache.
I climbed up into the tree as I couldn't see anything from the ground. Unfortunately though I couldn't see anything from the elevated position either.
I know those containers can be hard to spot so it is possible that I missed it but I'll add to the watchlist and see what happens.
Thanks for the cache and bringing me here.

A fabulous park that I didn't know existed. And quite a climb too! Probably shouldn't have done it in sandals but all well.
Thanks for a challenging cache!
Thanks for a challenging cache!
I've always loved this park. So much land hidden away in the corner of hackham.
Thanks for the cool hide. I've only recently discovered tree climbs and this is a beaut!
Zip tie has almost had it. Probably needs to be replaced.

Dark & rain drizzle afternoon. Unable to see cache from ground at 4:30pm. Climbed partway up but unable to see. Will search another time to see if I have correct tree.
New playground in park which is great to see.

Found while touring around the Hackam area and along the northern edge of Onkaparinga Gorge for the afternoon. Spotted the cache and went for a clamber. Thanks for the cache allister w!
Great climb here, after climbing up I finally spotted the cache almost where I was at. More of these would be great
Today with the CITO being south I decided to do half a days caching in the southern suburbs to clean up a few unfound. Interesting to see the areas that I haven’t been to before.
Thanks for the cache

A fun retrieve! A very climbable tree however i dropped the cache from the top. The geowife kindly threw it up to me. Fav point for the fun climb.
Unbelievable, the playground is closed. Mrs Kookacrew used to bring the young ones here (when they were young ones that is)., and more often than not the playground was being repaired, or it was damaged, reckon only 30% of our visits had us leave with non grumpy children.
Mr Kookacrew clambered up the ladder and then not so elegantly got to cache height, tested his health on this tree clamber. Mrs Kookacrew happily held the ladder and gave out words of encouragement, like "dont slip" and ÿoure almost there".
As Mr Kookacrew was descending we noticed old mate that lives in the closest house observing us, so we started discussing the fitment of the latest Covid detection devices in local parks and how efficient they are, he will be too scared to go anywhere near that cache now haha.
Thanks allister for the cache, found it, signed it and replaced safe and sound as found. TNLN

Well high and not for people who don't like heights (like me)
We attempted this one in the dark and just as we were planning on giving up, I spotted it! Just hanging out waiting for a mate!
The cache was damaged and the log couldn't be retrieved or signed due to waterlogging. Our first tree climber though and enjoyed the hunt!

Finally found the time to get down south for some caching on the NEW bike. After 2 rides finished the day with 24 finds and 4 DNFs
The neck was about to call it a day just as the eyes spotted the little sucker. Was a nice tree to limb so soon had my name on the log which is a little small but still has a couple of spots left.
Thanks allister w for putting this cache here

Down South today with an early morning CITO and blow me down, Rex and I were the first attendees to arrive
After the CITO a few of us headed to Dee Dee's cafe for breakfast/brunch/lunch and then went out caching in a few cars until eventually we peeled off and took our seperate ways to our respective homes [|)]
I had the pleasure of the company of erine14 and alysse14 for some of the afternoon, so it was a lively time
Then it was off to muggle partner's mum's for tea[^] followed by O'Sullivan's Beach for Rex to swim and run[^]
By the time Rex and I got back home at about midnight[|)][|)], we'd had 1 DNF, attended 1 event and found 17 caches today.
A very generous geocacher [:X] with me today offered to do what muggle partner had previously declined to do and so finally my name is in this cache's log book[^][:X]
What's the last thing you say to a geocacher up a tree? 'Don't fall' because the mind does not hear the 'don't' part and only hears the 'fall' part... so they fall Luckily that didn't happen today!![^]

Had an unexpected trip to Morphett Vale when muggle partner's elderly mother hadn't answered her phone for 2 days and we were worried[?][xx(][?][?]
Naturally when we were almost at her house, she finally answered
So we ended up spending the day with her[^] after muggle partner stopped in Officeworks to buy her a new mobile [^] and then set it up[^], having Chinese for tea and then taking Rex to O'sullivan's Beach dog beach before we drove home again [|)]
I found 1 smiley but actually found 2 caches at that spot [?][?] and had 1 DNF in the dark on the way home
Something about old, ladder, tired, tree and ants [|)]
DNF! Muggle partner went up [:X] as my knees were sore [xx(] however despite a fair bit of time spent and a PAF, we still DNFd Another day!

Did not come prepared to climb the tree - luckily a few boxing day bevies had me a little looser than normal. My muggle friend was a little concerned for my safety however I explained to her that we do what we need to get a smiley. My first tree climbing one and it was great fun!
With work finishing at lunchtime today, I wondered how to spend my afternoon. There were a fair few geocaches down south that I had wanted to do on my bike, so decided to drive down, and ride the Coast to Vines Rail Trail from Morphett Vale to Hackham. Then towards Huntfield Heights and to the sound of Christmas carols, it was then back riding along Golden Wattle Way Trail, and finishing off where I started. I'm not a big fan of suburbian caches and driving around stopping/starting, but cycling + geocaching was a lot of fun, and very enjoyable. A nice temperature sunny afternoon to be riding around also.
This geocache was a little away from the rail trail, but not wanting to leave too many in the area, I rode my good road bike across the uneven grass/dirt terrain towards GZ. Ahh, a friendly tree climb. So I went up, and found the cache. A very fun climb indeed, with the cache container and logbook in good shape. Thanks allister w for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance!

Out on the Shonky bicycle for a ride along the Seaford line with Uni and Medusa. The idea being to catch the train to Seaford and ride back and cache asking the way.
I climbed the wrong tree initially and couldn't find or even see a cache. Uni resorted to PAF and we were given some vague instructions about what we were looking for. Uni climbed the other tree and soon had the cache.
Contents were pulp so replaced the log sheet.
Then as uni was coming down a muggle asked if we had seen his cat. Just strange.
Thanks for the cache.

Luckily picked the right tree first go but was spotted by team member on the ground before team member in the tree. Was too wet inside to write anything. Foot got stuck on the way down. Not for those scared of heights!
Still recovering from an arm / shoulder injury that was my fault back on 31 May, i wasn't the slightest bit phazed in going for this 'Elevated' hide today.
These kind of trees are my favourites.... plenty of branches that are solid and sound [^]
I could just keep climbing up into the clouds in trees like this .
Before the climb i was visually searching for the cache so i knew where in the tree to climb to and how high. I couldn't see anything so i ascended anyway in case i did spot it. Not to be, although an empty birds nest was inspected to no avail.
Back on Terra Firma i trawled through past logs and noticed one that sort of gave off a hint so i ascended again and this time, spotted the booty and this was done while there were large bull-ants present [:o]. They were very slow and non-aggressive so I just ignored them... must be the cold ha ha.
The hide was tricky and hard to spot but spotted it was and i quickly had the cache in hand, descend to notice the log was wet through so i provided a small strip of paper for my scribble and for other cachers to follow.
I'm leaving a Favourite point up there in the cache for the height off the ground, the sneakiness of the hide and all those D and T stars on offer [^]

Found with a "gaggle" of geo cachers, including the CO, after this mornings breakfast event!!! Alysse14 made the climb with some assistance from Allister!!! Great fun to do this one in a group!!! Thanks Allister w for the hide!!
Owl's first caching expedition after sick leave, so lovely to share it with JJ52 - and a whole gaggle of cachers after an event nearby. Alysse14 did an amazing climb up the tree, which would have been a relief to Owl's surgeon, with careful shepherding by the CO, and the cache was duly signed.
Found after the Breakfast Club 3 event, my tree climb and graceful descent were assisted by the CO himself TFTC
A quick find for everyone except Alysse who climbed the tree for us all! Thanks for the company finding the cache guys! And thanks to Allisterw for hiding the cache for us to find!
Found with CPwanderer,erine14, alysse14, mogni, JJ52, Doctor owl & the CO.
We were hopeing the CO would assist the group after the breakfast event in grabbing this tree cache.
Alysee14 stepped up & said she's give it a go. She managed quite well only to get her foot stuck on the way down.
Still, better than I could if done!!
Thanks for rhe entertainment Alysee14 & allister w. for the hide.

So glad I brought my monkey with me today, otherwise I would have failed miserably. As it is, it still took a lot of searching to spot this, but we finally got it!! TFTC!
Smallest cacher stood on muggle gaurd and played on playground. Middle cacher went up 3 different trees without success. Big cacher then went up the easier of the 3 trees cursing micros and wondering how they are keeping it attached when it almost hits me in the head. It's then that I wished I had brought a pen up with me and thankful it wasn't a real micro! TFTC
Looked for this one a couple times, even climbed a few of the trees, just can't seem to spot it.
Walking over from Scenic Way, our GPS couldn't decide which way to go [B)], so zig-zagged our way to GZ.
Hmmmm. Couldn't see the cache anywhere, so Mr DISK started climbing .
High enough yet [?].
No - climb a bit more.

Every time I look on my map close to home this one stars back at me. There is no way I'm getting that by myself.
So I get a message from Rod81w to ask if I would like to meet him at GZ so we can find it...of course I would. [^]
Well it was dark by the time we both arrived and armed with torches we started looking...and looking...and looking. [?] It took a very long time searching the tree, circling and looking from all different angles before Rod finally spotted it, then a quickish climb of the tree and our names are in the log book.
Very glad to have the smiley now thanks allister w.

Met up with jj52 at GZ, looked up at the tree and that’s doable for a with the torch shining and phone light it still took a good 20 mins to find the sneaky bugger, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this container elsewhere

Spent a bit of time wandering around trying to spot the cache but eventually I just decided to climb up and then I soon spotted it. A bit more climbing later and I had the cache in hand!

Heading south, so stopped here.
Know the park well, from many years ago, having lived at the other end of this road.
In the dark I couldn't see the cache from the ground so scaled the tree at listed, then a torch appears belonging to Sir_Spectre. Soon after spotted it, retrieved and signed for a surprise joint *FTF*.
Dropped my *FTF* geocoin in too...

Finally got home after a 12 hour shift and check to see if the cache has been found. Reverse back out driveway and question caching micros in trees in the dark after it has been raining on and off all day. Get to the park and i see what i expect after 2.25 hours of a unlogged cache. A torch moving about. Walk over and find Hurtle in the tree. Cache is found only minutes after.
