*Having the day in Wellington before taking the ferry across to the south island tomorrow.* Uuuuuh, tough and sweaty! Starting down at the sea, so yeah, I had no problem sitting down to rest for this one **#4478**

Having walked from town I was reluctant to stop so close to the top! But decided on the rest, which was actually much nicer than the windy top! Nice quick find. TFTC

We are in Wellington for a few days. We walk through the streets, stroll along the promenade, ride the cable car and visit the botanical gardens. We follow the lab caches, which often lead us to unusual places. Unfortunately, we have to leave some traditional caches without logging them because there are often too many muggles watching. We came here primarily to pick up the last ad lab point for the 'Amazing Race' series, but couldn't not get this traditional as well.It was fairly quiet here this morning, so problems searching for the cache.Thanks for putting it here

Fangsoki and I did an overnight stop in Wellington on the way from Brisbane to the Mega to find a few special caches.This cache was one we were passing on the way up the hill. Luckily,it was a quick find as the wind was blowing a gale. We signed the log and then continued up the hill.TFTC bruzie

555. Found this cache nice and easy on the way to the lookout. Didnt have a pen so have attached a picture of the log TFTC

Beaut day to show some tourists a wonderful lookout! We however lost our pen though, so I have sent thru a photo of the cache. TFTC. Nothing beats Wellington on a good day!

A day trip into Wellington today. I planned for all weathers and got a cold but sunny, windy day - I can work with that! Beats being soaked! Appreciated the break near the top of Mt Vic, thank you - an excuse to site down for a few minutes.Cache in great order.TFTC bruzie

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we are staying in Wellington & decided that we needed to clean-up a final for an Ad Lab that wed been working on since Auckland & tidy up some Mystery Caches headed up Mt Victoria on a cold, windy day surprised at the number of people out-&-about this cache was an easy find, just a case of determining where it would likely be & hey Bingo, cache in hand log book completed & cache safely returned between Muggles coming & going were pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:LN:LS #6,006 for Us!

A stunning winters day in the capital. Came up from Christchurch to attend a geocaching event last night, had time to spare today so me and the Bear headed up to collect the virtual, and collected this one while here. A quick find and return in between muggles.Thanks for the cache.

After snagging the view from the top without scores of children about, I took a seat to find this cache. It was a quick find, but I noticed that the log was full. I added a fresh log and a baggie. Thank you for the smiley and the fun!The day:Today continued my week-long adventure solo from the U.S. on the North Island. I started out early so I could get as much in as possible before darkness fell. I found caches, met so local cachers, walked for miles, and drove for many more. It was another grand day.Many thanks to all the geocachers who placed and continue to maintain their geocaches for folks like me to find. I know it's not always easy, but know that you are appreciated.

We went on a 5-week road trip trough New Zealand. We saw and experienced an incredible amount in this beautiful country. Of course, we didn't miss out on geocaching either.

We (raija485 and I) have few days to search geocaches and explore the city at the same time. As for the weather, it's really nice to be here and move around (as long it's not raining).Thanks for the cache and greetings from Finland!
